Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

Spent a few days in Rapid City SD looking for a place to eat near the hotel and found this place. Service was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn't make up my mind gave the server my 2 choices & I went with her suggestion the chicken fried chicken on a bed of mash potatoes and gravy. It was delicious. The personal pizza was also delicious. We got 1/2 through the salad before a picture was taken and one with empty bowl

Enjoyed a delicious dinner with Buffalo Rolls, Deep Dish Pizza and stuffed manicotti! Everything tasted scrumptious! If you love delicious Chicago style cuisine then you should definitely eat here in Rapid City !! The service is great and fun! I had a nice Long Island Tea while we ate at the bar during Happy Hour! Definitely worth going to!! Thank you Old Chicago!! We will be back!!

Great menu, the cheesecake was wonderful, and the gal working the bar was phenomenal. She was doing the food AND libations. My lasagna was tasty, hot, and cheesy. No ground beef in this sauce; Italian sausage took the protein spotlight.

I had the Hangover burger, substituted the beer cheese sauce for cheddar, though. I also gave the "Eclipse" a try. Which is a mixture of Guiness and Blue Moon.

My wife had the Blue cheese burger, but said she couldn't taste any blue cheese with the strong taste of the balsamic mushrooms.

The burgers were both cooked perfectly like we asked.... medium and medium-well.

All I have to say is the food and drinks were AMAZING 🤩 first time in SD, & first time at this restaurant! If I’m ever in town I’ll be back!

This place has some very good pizza the bartender-server for us was very awesome

Stopped here to eat when I got into Rapid City, food was great, service was excellent. Our server did a great job making sure everything was good and that we were taken care of throughout our meal. Great job. A++

They were very busy (Friday dinner rush) but everything came out quickly and our waitress Cadence was excellent!

The pizza has a cracker-like crust with a nice crunch, but the undercarriage is dense and non-crispy. minimal sauce. Bland. This place offers specialty pizzas with unique toppings / wild flavors that can be interesting for those looking to try something different. 6.6/10.

Great food, atmosphere and the service was amazing! Maria was absolutely phenomenal! She was patient, informative and very pleasant!! Make sure she sticks around!

This restaurant is very clean, they have great pizza (I recommend the Double Deckeroni) and my waitress Savannah was very friendly and quick to serve. I'll likely return when I'm back in town.

Great options, well prepared with a pleasant staff. It was a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely outing.

Can take a while on busy days, but the staff is very friendly and they have great food!

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed: solid team in the front of house and really really good food. Highly recommend trying this place. Happy hr saves you some cash too. Super good value. 🤩

Was busy so it took a little for our food to arrive. But was good.

Every time we go this place is legit. From the calzones to the cauliflower pizza. So good. Always get the Italian nachos for an appetizer. You’re welcome

First time at Rapid city location, approaching the front doors my eyes made contact with the two trash bins on each side of the door were completely full. This is when I ask the big questions will my seating be clean or the bathroom,should I go in ..
Once inside with a warm greeting and taken to a clean seating while Andi took our drinks and food order, I made a trip to the restroom found this to be very clean,thank you staff.

We both ordered the Samuel Adam's fish and chips. This was just good but not Wow.
For the wow factor the fish needed to be fresh beer battered and size bigger than the long or wedge fish out of a box.
Dessert next time I feel bad missing out.

Our server Andi was fast fun funny she did a great job.
