Super convenient location in Hillcrest. Has all the standard stuff. Self checkout is nice when available, sometimes it’s turned off. They have a pharmacy, ice cream, and offer flu shots. Very large parking lot, which can get full during weekends or events. There’s a Starbucks across the street. A lot of food options nearby too.

This is my Rite Aid and I love it!!! Friendly as can be! My Rite Aid is a sweet little store that is iconic; MOSTLY because of the ice cream but also because it's just a cute little store!♡♡♡♡♡

No better place to go for your pharmacy and store needs. Friendly efficient and caring staff. They are respectful caring happy to help in any way so that you get your medicine and other products to keep you in good health. Been a customer for over 15 years and will continue to be a customer as long as I can stay with them.

Good day everyone I just wanted to share my experience with everyone about my GREAT EXPERIENCE at this store.... I have been coming to this location for a long time now and EVERY TIME I step foot inside I am greeted by the most respective workers and the service is GREAT I want to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO "RENEE ARCHULETTA" and "TERRY" I believe she is a manager of course there is more staff I'd like to complement I just don't know all there names regardless the experience is ALWAYS hands down the best and I suggest anyone to stop by and see if your day becomes better after walking out... I will continue to drive from Imperial Beach just to stop by and get some shopping done...... Thank you RITE AID for a wonderful experience....

Rite Aid in Hillcrest has the friendliest staff and a super clean store. I can always get what I need, and find someone to assist me if I need help. Miguel is always so kind and I appreciate his energy. Thank you!

It’s amazing how nice the staff always!!!! is. They have to put up with a pretty large homeless issue, slow registers yet always nice to everyone. a special thanks to Olga. She is always sweet to everyone. I respect the Hell out of that

I recommend this store for all your needs. The store is usually open 24 hours. Convenient location to the hospital district areas of Mercy hospital and other important medical facilities close to downtown, San Diego. The pharmacy staff is very knowledgeable in their medications and vaccines. The one stop shopping for a snack pick up or ice cream cone. Many other great items. I love shopping there for makeup. Or a quick protein beverage.

My spouse and I are very satisfied with the customer service rendered by Dusan & Nai this time and each time/every time we shop at this Rite Aid Store #05644. Specifically, Dusan & Nai greet us warmly as soon as we enter the store. They have genuine smiles when greeting us as well as when we are at the register paying for our purchases. Nai & Dusan are very helpful and knowledgeable when we ask them for help or ask them any questions. Very friendly and pleasing personalities. Fast and efficient. They actually talk to us like they truly care about the quality of customer service we receive each time we shop at your store. Thank you for hiring and keeping such one-of-a-kind associates. Friendly customer service clean but they need more cashiers to help you they've just set up self service. But, why do it yourself when the cashiers are being paid you're not. I really enjoy going into the store as it is well lit very clean and easy to find whatever you're looking for. You're always welcomed into the store and staff is very willing to help. I have found that doing cover the past couple years the pharmacist are very knowledgeable and will help you in any way they can. If you need vaccines you can make an appointment quick and private unlike other pharmacies.

Pharmacy is super quick and friendly and you can pay online before picking up (or getting delivery for) your prescriptions if you want. Always clean. Nice people. Masks and social distancing is required.

Let me tell you. Angie is an amazing employee! We are visiting from out of town and she made us feel so welcomed like we were right at home in that store. Amazing customer service skills. Made us laugh and gave us suggestions to eat while in town. 10/10

This Rite Aid is spacious and attractive and in the busy Hillcrest area. There is plenty of parking space. The employees are helpful and courteous. There is even an ice cream shop in the store with as close to homemade as anyone can get. It is a relaxing shopping environment to experience.

Kari line was the lady who helped me at the pharmacy and gosh was she the best! She dealt with me being unprepared to pay and was so patient for me to get my money and I noticed how she was dealing with 2 other customers who weren’t the sweetest so professionals. KAROLINE YOU AMAZING and deserve a raise!!!

Good display and variety of products, quick and easy checkout.

Clean, well stocked, always has discounts. Pharmacists are super nice, yes, during peak hours getting your prescriptions filled is sometimes a downer Debbie - aside from that, it's a kewl store for your basic alcohol, wine, milk, quick treats!

Parking is free for one hour - and they do have parking Nazis who don't have any mercy after your one hour is up - regardless of explaining to them that your 1 hour went over and it wasn't your fault. But they still ticket you!

Otherwise, its a great store to shop at!

I only come here for the Thrifty Ice Cream! $2 a scoop. There are so many flavors to choose from. I like the “circus animal cookies” flavor. It brings back childhood nostalgia of the little white and pink cookies with tiny ball sprinkles.

First, let me say I’m not the type to write a review.. EVER, but the service was so amazing here. I had to review it. I’m from out of town, my mom came here to visit as well while we are here in San Diego. My mom suddenly got sick and needed her prescription filled but being she was out of town, we weren’t sure what pharmacy would take her insurance. We called Rite-Aid, (mind you it’s 11:30 pm) and explained our situation to the pharmacist. He said he would run my moms insurance to make sure they take her insurance but he was really busy and would call me back. At this point, I knew I wouldn’t receive a phone call back. I WAS WRONG PEOPLE! The pharmacist called me back with ten minutes, ran her insurance and said they take it. He said he would have her prescription ready in 10 minutes! My mother was in serious pain so I shot straight to Rite-Aid. The pharmacist was so nice!! He had the prescription ready. I gave him another prescription that I said we would pick up later. He insisted he would fill it then and there! The pharmacist was seriously so accommodating and sweet. So pharmacist if your reading this! Thank you for making sure we got the help we needed. You are awesome!!

The razors are freakin locked up and I feel stereotyped walking in there by ALLLLLL THE WORKERS. Even The Janitor! Just because my hair is styled a little ghetto, dont mean im going to be stealing a $7 box of razors!! ....$8.. if you add the .99cents. Oh, Plus tax.. so $10 Box...... But At Least I Got SOmeBODIES Attention & Know Where To Go If I Ever Want Any Attention.. hahhahaa.. BUT... ***Im Still Going To Shop Here Becuz They Got Flavors The Other Stores Dont Even Got!!! Im Just Going To Have To Be Stereotyped, Recorded, Followed, Ect. On N On***

Came here in an emergency after I bailed on my bike and sliced my palm open with a piece of glass. With only one hand and no brakes for the moment, I rushed over here hoping I could get a band aid. Angelica, one of the cleaners first told me about not putting my bike inside but after telling here my issue she helped me find the bathroom to clean and got me a wet wipe and a band aid. Afterwards we had a good laugh and she gave me a funny story her daughter when she got one of her first cuts. Thank you Angelica!
