Ralphs Fresh Fare

I've been going to this location 3 or more times per week for the past 2 years and every time I I've come in has been a pleasant experience. The store is always well. The.prices are whatever... inflation of currency that has no real value and cost of living grows faster than the minimum wage... blah blah blah beatin' that dead horse..... comparable prices to bother stores the area. Back to Ralphs. The produce section, bakery deli, an butcher are always clean. And the cashier's are helpful and cool.

I tried a new wine bubbly... It was delicious. This was my third spot looking for the item(s) I wanted. They had them and the customerq service from the cashier was excellent.

Great prices on lobster tails and shrimp. Surprised at the overall value of the place although you do need a Ralph’s card (free) to get the best deals

Shelby is my favorite employee!
I always had a great customer service in Hillcrest….few evening ago though, I noticed Shelby dealing with a very rude customer.
She went above & beyond her courtesy!
Anyway, yesterday or 2 days ago, again I saw her, as she was at the self checkout as usual, smiling while helping people with their bar code.
She is very attentive and ready with a shopping bag for you, but the best part she is always smiling & let me feel welcome to shop there.

Awesome experience with Max the Security Guard today! Came in not knowing a thing about how to operate the Coinstar machine and luckily Max assisted me the whole way through! Thanks so much Max and I hope Ralph's acknowledges your professionalism. Thanks again!

Sometimes it is hard to park but you'll always find one spot, including underground parking (there is an elevator available)

Ralph's is my go-to grocery store for all my basic needs.

This is the Ralphs fresh Fair which is their upscale version of Ralphs with the huge deli department lot of fresh fish this store is huge in fact almost too big it is separated in a manner that makes it a bit difficult if you're not familiar with the store. I visit the stores in Palm Springs but I am staying in San Diego for a couple of weeks and wanted to go to Ralph's. It was very similar to our house and the way the aisles were laid out but has so much more to offer the produce section is absolutely huge so it is a good place to shop but make sure you give yourself plenty of time so that you don't get rushed and have an opportunity to get everything you need

The people are nice, and the size of the store is pretty big. The only issue is upstairs parking; it gets rather crowded. Park downstairs for free, it's usually easier.

Nice Ralph's in an nice area. Fairly large store with great selections of beer and wine, produce, and meat and seafood. Generally q nice place to shop.

It’s 1030 pm. And I was told both restrooms are out of order. This place is expensive and it sucks. Their customer service is bad. I really come here when Trader Joe’s is closed. 2023 update. Issues fixed. Very convenient and clean. They fixed the refrigerated area. I walk in here in my work out tiny outfit. No one bats an eye. Love it. U get all start.

Prices are a little bit better than Vons

It's okay. It's not too bad, but they need to bring their prices of some of their items in the store down, I mean way down. Like, for example, their cheese. Like what O.T. GENASIS says in his song,"YOUR PRICES WAY TOO HIGH, YOU NEED TO CUT IT"! Along with the cheese, some of your other items in the store are way too high as well. A half gallon of chocolate milk should not be $2.99 or more. It should be no more than$2.29, and even that price is a little too high. Also, with the mark downs and the clearances, good job. Keep them going. Just bring some of the prices down lower. If a person is an employee at Ralph's, or a security guard assigned to work at Ralph's, or if a customer is serving or have served in the Armed Forces, then the item should be marked down lower for them. If an employee or a security guard working at Ralph's is either serving or have served in the Armed Forces, then the items should be marked down even lower than that, for them.

The store is well organized but the staff really makes the store SUPERB. They have always given me excellent, kind, and friendly service as well as have been willing to go the extra mile to be even more helpful!

This is not your ordinary Ralphs by far the most "upscale" "high end" luxury store I've ever been too as opposed to the other stores that are plain and simple.
And check out Murray's Cheese Shop when you first walk in.

Close, clean, and well organized. I usually do an early Sunday morning weekly trip here and then go to TJ's for special items. The area can be crowded but they have a parking garage and I've never had issues finding a spot.

Ralph's in Hillcrest is located directly across the street from where I live in Fabulous Hillcrest, San Diego. The staff are always friendly and helpful, they do their best whenever possible, and maintain a positive attitude even when they are extremely busy and under stress. I am grateful I live so close to a market that has most of what you would expect and much of what you would not in a grocery store. Food is outstanding quality and always fresh. I wish I was always and nice to them as they are to me, but I will try from now on.

TBH I go to this particular Ralph’s for the more premium experience. It’s clean, always stocked, friendly staff at deli, etc. counters and checkout. Great selection of everything from fine cheeses to everyday necessities. They seem to have higher standards at this location than some of the others in the area and it’s always a pleasant experience for someone like me who hates grocery shopping.

I have never had anything but positive experiences at Ralphs. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Also, you don't have to wait a long time in line no matter when you go! However, I wouldn't recommend getting the chicken at the deli after 1 because it is dry.

I've been shopping at this particular store for more than 18 years. I've seen it go through at least two remodels and it keeps getting better. As the neighborhood has shifted to more natural and organic foods, Ralph's has adjusted to cater to demand. Their organic selection keeps growing and even with increasing options in the area, this store is still my favorite.
