HUGE shout out to David Ponce at BMW San Diego for such a wonderful experience!! It was my first time finally buying a BMW. I briefly stopped by BMW in previous years, but didn’t connect with the sales person really or find a car that suited me so I moved on to other brands that better fit. I tried BMW again this time and David knew exactly what I was looking for after a brief conversation. He immediately gave me better options than what I saw online and let me know they were available to test drive. I was still unsure, but he wasn’t pushy and I didn’t feel pressured at all, which can be rare in this industry. He’s a really down to earth person and super patient. He gave me a couple days to think about it and I sure enough came back for this car. He walked me through the process and was super fair and transparent about what they could realistically do, as well as letting me know how the car market is just different than it was years ago when I last dealt with a dealership. There were a couple things we had to follow up on after purchase and he made sure we got it done. I couldn’t be happier with this decision! I’m sure every sales person there is nice too, but I recommend everyone go to this dealership and work with David. You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to working with David again in the future and remaining a BMW customer.

Great car buying experience. Jesús worked with me to find the right car at the right price for my wife. They explored all the rebates and offers to get my payments down to an acceptable level. I ended up leasing an i4 e40drive for reasonable price. I would highly recommend BMW San Diego for anyone looking to lease a new BMW. The only way this could have been better is if I drove away with a free car.

Great shopping experience. Very communicative about the arrival timelines of my X5. Buying process was nice. Not a typical sales experience that would usually require haggling back and forth. They were respectful of my time which was refreshing.

I went to the dealership with my sister to get the new iX for her. We met Shawn and had a great no-pressure sales experience. He was there helping during the whole process! The rest of the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating as well.
Shawn offered several color combos to test drive, offered a great deal, and finalized the whole deal with us in a matter of a couple of hours. My sister couldn’t stay in town as she had to drive back to OC at the end of the day. Due to the regulations, the dealership had to charge the SUV to 100% so we couldn’t take the delivery the same day. Shawn drove and delivered the car 100 miles away to my sister’s home in OC! Wow! Such a great service! We’re definitely calling Shawn for the next car we’re buying.

I had a great and amazing experience at this dealership. Hands down Shawn Shantiai was the best sales representative there, he went over and above to help us pick the best car and get the best deal, I recommend seeking him out, look in the photos for his business card. Penske BMW of San Diego is a great dealership. It’s busy but the staff are cordial, helpful, professional, and most are BMW enthusiasts. I purchased a Special Order M3 Manual and every step was seamless and easy.

David was friendly, down to earth, and very welcoming of all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with the vehicle and also very transparent and fair with the terms of the sale. Best dealership in San Diego. I went around to different dealer ships to shop around for a vehicle and with the price that I could afford and bmw of San Diego were the only once who worked with me and gave me all the discounts they could think of and made it happen to the price I wanted and the color combo/ car I wanted as well. I feel like an absolute princess whenever I walk into the BMW of San Diego dealership Jason makes everything so easy with all of his knowledge I know I can call him and pick up my car the same day. If it wasn’t for the horses I have, I would probably own two BMWs. The customer service, and the way that I feel here is second to none and one of the biggest influences of me driving the cars that I have- I will not own any other brand of car.

I have an older BMW, and I was running into a stuttering problem with it. We had a little trouble diagnosing the root cause of the issue at first, but I reached out to Chris and he did an incredible job of giving my car the service it needed to ultimately fix things properly.
