Had a business meeting. While the menu looks quite expensive the vegetarian tacos were very unique and tasty. I heard others praising meat dishes as well. Service was good. Very good experience overall. Parking $5, you have to get a ticket from the attendant on the way in.

The food was amazing. The atmosphere and service were great. Highly recommend. I had shrimp quesadilla, chicken flautas, chips with like 6 different salsa (amazing) and amazing tacos. Flavors will blow your mind.

Food was amazing. I had the steak tar tar tacos which were phenomenal. mixed drinks were very nice as well. great date night spot. It is pretty pricey but worth it!

We had a wonderful experience tonight at Puesto in SD, a great end to our little getaway. The food here is delicious and service is top notch. Our server, Carmen, was very attentive and friendly. Love the atmosphere and chill vibes here. The michelada was a little too spicy for me towards the end though.

The blue corn tortilla tacos are phenomenal. My favorites are the ones with the crispy cheese, like the shrimp, the beef, and the pork carnitas. My wife had the ceviche with passion fruit. Yummm!

Perfect for a sunset or evening treat. Food is a little pricey but delicious. Across is the seaport village and other entertainment in the area. Last time i went Anthony was my server and he was really attentive and made my experience great.

Amazing vegetarian tacos for me. Rave reviews for the fish tacos from my dinner companion. The waitstaff was so pleasant and helpful. Dining outdoors on a perfect evening was a huge bonus.

Unreal ceviche and tacos. Ranked from best to least best 1. Filet minon 2. Carnitas 3. Shrimp 4. Lobster 5. Quessabirria. The passion fruit ceviche is phenomenal

Gluten free!

I am very sensitive to gluten, I tried the chips, mango margarita, ceviche verde, esquite, short rib quesabirria, and the mango cake, and I did not have a reaction to anything 😁 All of the food was very good, best tacos around. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about GF restrictions. We will definitely be back.

Our family has always loved this spot! We came back to visit (for a very limited window in the day- so couldn't make the VERY limited Taco Tuesday window) and was a little disappointed that they no longer had the 3 taco deal. Instead, they RECOMMEND 3 tacos because they fit nicely on the plate. 🙄. So this visit was VERY pricey for tacos. Once again, the Tuesday 3-5pm ITSY BITSY window was not possible for this trip. Fortunately, the quality and taste of the food are still the same, elevated. Still, highly recommended. Personally...our favorites are the filet mignon, the verduras, and hongas tacos.

Had Mango Layer Cake,left to right lobster, 2 mole turkey, tamarind shrimp, filet & carnitas. Watermelon - Mezcal margarita. Guacamole Nogada, salsa & topos. Agua fresca.

Carmen was the best. I am from Vancouver Canada where there are few Mexicans and few food restaurants. She was so patient and explained the food to me and what I might find tasty. Mexico is on my bucket list and now I really want to go after dining here.

Ok. This place is amazing. The food is so delicious. We sat at the bar. The chis and salsa show are delicious. I had the spring lamb and carnitas tacos. So good. The chicken taco was as well . The mixed drink pours were generous. Hit this place up for sure.

Had a great time at Puesto. Royal was the best server! He was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The chicken tacos were my favorite. Will definitely be back!

I had a taste for Spinach Dip and Queso with my tortilla chips. You won’t get that here but i chose my other favorites to try. The tortilla chips are too thick for my liking. The black beans were flavorful and the grilled corn was very good. The fish in my Baja Taco was cooked to perfection but it lacked seasoning leaving the dish bland. The serving size of the sides was generous so they are shareable. The place including the bathroom is very clean. Our server was very personable and thoughtful. The ambiance of the outside seating is very appealing! I didn’t have a drink but they looked great!

Service was a bit slow at the start but food came quickly once it was ordered. We started off with the delicious Puesto Perfect margaritas, we ordered each of the guacamole and they were all delicious too. We tried the Ceviche Verde and that was my favorite.
I had the short rib quesobirria taco (disappointing and mild) and tamarindo shrimp (flavorful and perfectly cooked) taco. Finished up with the moist and coconutty Pina colada cake.

Restaurant is also beautifully decorated and huge with many different seating areas inside and very large outdoor patio sections. We will definitely be back!

I have been a lover of Puesto since it's first opening in San Diego at Seaport Village. Since then, I've frequented the locations in La Jolla and Mission Valley. The Mission Valley location is the best of the three, by far. Not only is the atmosphere wonderful but so is the staff. Particularly, I must mention Ricardo, who has been one of my favorite waiters there. He is attentive and makes you feel like family. You can tell he enjoys his job. I'm there almost every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and it's mostly because of him. The food is fantastic and so are the Puesto Perfect Margaritas! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic happy hour experience. Our server, Andrew, was very knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. I let him know I had shellfish allergies, and he wisely guided me away from a selection that is fried in the same fryer as some shellfish items. Thank you, Andrew! And he had great recommendations. The location is kind of secluded and very open and airy. It was a very pleasant experience!

If I could give 10 Stars I would. The service was the best we've ever had, our server was hilarious. We absolutely loved her! The location of this restaurant is tucked away like a little slice of heaven. The food was to die for. Quite honestly the best tacos I've ever had in my life. This particular night of our vacation in San Diego, at this restaurant will forever be my favourite. It was pure magic. Thank you so much for an incredible experience! If we ever find ourselves in San Diego again, we're coming back for sure!

Dined mid-afternoon so not busy. Guac was great as were margaritas. Both of us had fish tacos which were perfectly cooked & presented.
