Vons

Love this Vons - especially the easy parking, wide aisles and how clean it always is. The pharmacy line is usually shorter than most too, especially the one in Liberty Station. On my last trip I was in a hurry with just a bottle of wine, and the two checkout lines were long. But April came to my rescue and rang me up over by the self checkout so I could be on my way. Keep up the good work!

Got lost looking for some items (don't judge...). Each time I asked a worker they knew the EXACT location!! Very fresh fruits and vegetables. On another day the deli counter made my "just not feeling like cooking tonight" meal worth the trip. Friendly and helpful workers. Seeing a security guard was a little reassuring considering the growing craziness happening in the world.

Vons is a little more on the pricey side, so I usually have to plan ahead and buy in bulk. But they always have clean and good quality perishables and non-perishables. The store is clean, neat in appearance, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We like this vons. It seems like each location has its own vibe. We shy away from the ones closest to my house because we don't like the vibes there lol.
This location has a parking garage in its basement. If you're looking to run in real kwik and run out then park upstairs and or don't grab a cart. If you're downstairs then there is a conveyerbelt that pulls your cart up and down separate from the moving sidewalk you use to get up and down.
This location is pretty clean. The asiles feel wide and the lighting is bright.
No problems to complain about. We happen to love the Vons as a grocery store so we gave this a 5 star rating

The employees are largely a dedicated pro customer group. I love the pharmacy staff. I fell in the store this week and the pharmacy staff made sure i was ok, had me sit in their waiting area for awhile and were soooo comforting. THANK YOU PHARMAS!!

The whole team here is stellar… We’ve been with Ling since her Albertsons days in North Park!!! Unsure why @google can’t get their hours right in their maps… Blong told me they gave them the correct hours… They’re open until *midnight* daily

This is a well stocked supermarket in the Hillcrest area of San Diego. The prices are good, the staff helpful, and there is a great deli inside. The women at the deli make an awesome custom made sandwich! Great place to shop when in the area!

Super cool underground parking lot 9’ in height clearance, truck with ladders on rack? No problem.

I've experienced nothing but great service here. The staff are friendly and super helpful. There is plenty of underground parking here, as well.

This store has a fantastic selection of every good you could imagine. Prices are very fair when compared to other grocery stores. The parking garage below the store was clean and there wasn't any riffraff. It was a surprisingly pleasant shopping experience.

I love this Vons. They almost always have the stuffed mushrooms, jalapeno with cream cheese, brussel sprouts and bacon in the produce section. They also have an awesome wine and dessert selection.

The employees are fantastic too. Helpful, patient, and efficient.

Oh and they have their own underground parking!

This is my neighborhood grocery and I love it. The staff is great the bakery is top notch and the deli is exceptional. Parking is always easy with underground parking garage and plenty of self checkout and traditional check out.

Great customer service. I lost my Tom ford eye glasses case and was very worried.I rang the store initially the store manager Kim did not find it in the lost and found. But she went out of her way and asked me which cash register I was at so that she could go there to check… wow to my amazement she found it. It was a miracle. I am so thankful.

This store seems bigger than most. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the birthday cards by the register. When I commented on them to the cashier she told me that there was an entire row of them and that she agreed they were beautiful. I guess I'm going to do all of my birthday card shopping at Vons now The Vons on West Washington anyway.

What a fantastic experience! I just moved back to San Diego after being gone since 1999. Back then, this Vons location was a bit of a dive. I avoided it because it was so dreary and outdated.

I knew that the store had been remodeled since then, but I was thrilled to see how truly nice it is now. It's quiet, well-organized, and everything I needed was in stock. The prices seem to be a bit higher than what I've seen at other stores in the area, but I will definitely return. It's worth the extra cost.

What a store. AMAZING! Shopping here is not a chore but an experience! Shelves fully stocked. Produce screamed "buy me." OMG THE BAKERY! I thought I was in Bavaria during October fest ! The smell made me spend money I didn't have. The deli was superb and the ready made sandwiches were out of this world! Worth every penny. If your staying in hotel circle and need something go here. If you don't go anyway. It's that great!

This is one of the best grocery stores overall in San Diego. Clean wide aisles, well stocked, friendly and helpful staff. They've made a great post-pandemic come back with upgraded display cases and more deals. The Vons app is a terrific way to save - there are coupons, special deals, and rewards.

We like the Vons
It's close to us and the parking is usually convenient. Who knows about prices. Too hard to compare Vons vs Ralph's vs Albertsons.
Garage is very busy on weekends.

Sometimes there’s a long line but that’s rush hour for ya!
