I had the pleasure of visiting the East Village store 12/5/23. What a sweet and pleasant surprise to see how accommodating this employer was to a new mom. At first glance, her front pack was invisible, completely blending into her black shirt. From the side view, her precious infant's face was partly visible, contentedly sleeping and snuggling mom during the work shift. It was a very touching thing to see and made me smile the rest of the day. 🥰

I remember how grueling it was in 1998, juggling daycare drop-offs and pick-ups, breastfeeding and pumping, while still trying to find enough energy to actually do my job at the office. Kudos to this EV store! It was incredibly uplifting to see some progress has been made in this regard over the last 25 years.

Items come in a larger quantity but it’s well worth checking out this place for some basic house needs at a good price!

It's a great lil store. Good prices. New selections coming in near weekly. Fast and friendly cashiers.
My only gripe is having to circle the entire store to get to the far right wall, where all the treats for excellent prices are. 😉 Tho, I get why they do it.

Their prices are always good, especially for meats and essentials. The staff is always courteous,polite and friendly. I have a delivery app for a large national chain,but they have a $35 minimum,and sometimes I don't need that much. Sometimes what happens is I'm walking through the store with my list,but something catches my eye,that I wasn't really shopping for,but it's such a good deal I jump on it,it's a pleasant surprise. And this particular store is a block from the trolley line,so it's very convenient for me. East Village has a bad rap,but I've never had a problem there.

I bought me $150 worth of groceries for $85 or they have the same thing as everybody else has but cheaper I can put they have to definitely have more than Walmart and Food 4 Less And Ralph's does an Albertsons they have more chicken products and more Frozen Fusion I do and they're much cheaper price I bought me two bags of chicken no yeah a chicken tenders and a dollar 50 a piece why at the other store is it seven eight bucks for bag the cheap devices are like in 50 to 60% off everything in that store and I loved it is located right downtown San Diego convenia can be seen you go pass and get it the 5 bus the free bus go past it 901 goes past it on the 11 bus go pass it we conveniently put right there on Market Street downtown San Diego

I can't wait to get the chance to meet the owner he seems like a really cool guy they have wonderfully amazing deals that you know you have to go that day and see what you get you never know but there's always you know two for a buck of something that would cost $10 out the door at Whole Foods you know you're getting something for the same quality product for 1/10 the price you can live on Social Security income having served your country honorably and healthy with nutritious meals if you shop at Grocery Outlet everyday

Incredible prices, so low it feels like it’s 10+ years ago. Good selection, area outside the store is a little sketchy at night but nothing compared to other cities.

Arriving in San Diego 2 days ago, I needed a few things, I ventured into the Salvation Army and inquired for a super market. The directions led me to market & 10th where I found Grocery Outlet store. We have food outlet store in the Bronx under a different name. GO has beer and wine along with food and products needs at discount prices. A gallon of milk is 2.99 when a quart of milk is 1.99 boxes of cearals from $1.49 to 2.49 name brand. Grocery Outlet also a large selection frozen foods and batteries and other basic needs for travels. Enjoy!

Friendly workers, free parking for an hour, loads of reasonably priced food and some fun surprises like finding Hu chocolate for $1.99

My favorite items are yogurt - I wouldn't buy frozen food as I think they have flies in them sometimes. like 20 flies. edit: no flies. the defrosting attracts them is all and they sneak in - i think. unsure.

Yogurt on sale is good. Sometimes juice. And various snacks like cheese its on sale or fiber ones.

They had David help me carry my groceries to my car! Yes, the carts don't leave the store. Independently owned franchises, Grocery Outlet is one of my 'Go To' stores!

You can get things here for half the regular price; sometimes even less. And they carry good quality items. You can't expect to find everything on your list, but it's fun how every few days they stock all new merchandise. It's usually a very interesting selection.

Love grocery outlets especially the store on West point loma blvd the staff are very helpful if you have a question about an item very clean inside and outside of store I will always shop there for food and other items. Best store in town

You can find a variety of items and the people who work there are very nice and fun to communicate with.

This is a pretty cool little spot right there in the heart of downtown! Discounts on all of your favorite brands that you would never expect! When you’re Ballin on a budget this is the place to go to get your grocery shopping taken care of! And don’t think that they only carry strictly food, they have all of thee above!! And it’s all name brand!!

Wow...this place is awesome, for what kind of store this is they have the best deals and the staff is great. Always helpful and friendly if you want to save money and shop with an open mind..you'll find some great deals. I just saved over 300.00 on my shopping....ok so just a quick update on this place I still like shopping here but...they need to do a better job on their signage and pricing I came across this great deal on the shelf..I even confirmed it with a employee but when it came time to check out the cashier said no. So like unlike the 99 cent store this place won't honor what they are advertising.
