Read Between The Lines

Read Between the Lines was my favorite store in the Legacy West shopping center. All of their items were eccentric and super fun! I also really enjoyed their stationary (all really great quality, too) and Christmas decor. Check them out if you need a card for a birthday, engagement, anything really. Also if you need a memorable and fun gift for somebody, you’ll find it here. By far the cutest and most unique things I’ve seen. I ended up purchasing a Baggu laptop bag that I’ve had my eye on for a long time! A bonus was that it was on sale!

A must visit when in Texas! Great card selection, the unusual gift, spoil yourself. Fun to browse.

Cute small-business with plenty of unique gifts for yourself and others! I stopped by randomly and ended up purchasing a few games and books for an upcoming cruise! It was a pleasure interacting with the employees as well! Wishing this business much success!

The eclectic shop features yummy smelling candles, table top books, things for the bar, and a separate section for baby gifts. Guaranteed to find something you need, or didn’t need, if you shop on by! ❤

This place is a little peace of serenity. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out the experience is above and beyond amazing. I visit this little shop today and Melinda was a gem, I’m sure she saw me all discombobulated looking for a journal and a planner for 2023 financial goals. She came over to me and gave me an experience that I never encountered before in a store, she showed me items, she allowed me to see different color pens I was looking for and she nailed all the different planners I needed for 2023. At the counter she had this amazing hand sanitizer that is my fave…. It’s a must have! It leaves your hands soft and smelling clean. This is now my little peace of happiness when I walk down from my apartment to her store. It’s a must see shop!!! Melinda is a must meet person as well, she does not know how much her hug was needed that day 😌

ive always wanted to stop by but unfortunately they close on Sunday the day i came most of the time. today i planned a trip here and its so pleasant. they treated my gift with care and wrapped it really nice.

Unique and interesting gift items you don’t easily find! The store smells amazing…their own curated candles! Customer service was 1st rate! Highly recommend!

This store is absolutely darling! I loved the notebooks and pens! I loved the cards so much! The candles smelled amazing! I also loved the selection of books they had! If you need items for candle care they have it all! I also met Melinda, the owner, and she is such a sweet person! If you go by I hope you have the opportunity to meet her!

After my dear 14-year-old dog Sandy passed away, I was in a bit of a quandary. I wanted to send thank you cards to the vets who treated her, but I have horrible handwriting. I explained my situation to the folks at Read Between The Lines, and they were more than happy to help! Christina crafted absolutely beautiful cards for me to share with the veterinarians. And when I got home, I noticed a card in my bag addressed to me as well, consoling me for the loss of my best friend. I couldn't give more praise to RBTL and their dedication to their customers!

Bought some gorgeous champagne flutes and a darling stuffed duck with a cap. Very unique items and they offered gift wrapping, which took just a few minutes.

This is my favorite store for gifts for loved ones. They have amazing candles and are always rotating out nice coffee table books and trinkets so there’s always something new to see. They are my go to spot for cards for any occasion and their customer service is A+. All staff are always so welcoming and helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about this store! Along with all the great items they have, the customer service is top notch. I went in to return some wine glasses I got as a gift. (They were beautiful, I just already have so many.) The employees were so accommodating and patient. I ended up falling in love with the martini glasses in the same design but they only had 2/4 on hand. I went ahead and bought the two (among a few other fun things), and gave them my info for when more came in. Gabrielle text me promptly the following week letting me know they had gotten them in and that she would put some aside for me. I was already impressed that they remembered me, but was even more taken aback when I started unwrapping the package of the two glasses my fiancé had picked up for me. Without him knowing they had snuck in the cutest “Mrs.” pin because he had told them we were getting married soon. It almost made me cry - in this day and age seems like there is so much more negative than positive in the world that little things like that make all the difference. I will definitely be returning and telling all of my family and friends to stop in asap!

This has been my go to card store for years. Today I went in looking for a few special cards and a birthday gift and Gabrielle created such a wonderful guest experience for me. It’s not often you go into a store and receive such genuine attentiveness. Working in retail myself, I know how hard it is to connect with guests, so if you have the opportunity to share your reason for coming in, do so! Thank you Gabrielle for being so kind today!
