Safeway

The staff at Safeway are always so helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure we find what we're looking for and check us out quickly and offer help. The displays are fresh and interesting and sale prices easy to see and apply to my purchase. Parking is convenient and close to the entry.

Very convenient and mostly friendly service. Each time I go I always feel like I'm running into old friends in the staff.

Living in Palo Alto, this place is good to buy grocery and goods like cake, meat, and veggies. The workers were nice and the place was always clean.

First time ever I tried the deli at Safeway, the one on Middlefield in Palo Alto. I ordered and ate a hot ham and cheese sandwich on sliced sourdough bread with mayonnaise. It was fantastic. The best sandwich I have eaten in ages. Wow. What a pleasant surprise. I also ordered a small bag of chips and a bottle of water. The total price was modest, to say the least.

I sat outside Safeway on their bench. I wish that they had some tables and chairs for eating inside and maybe one or two outside.

This is a review only of the Safeway deli not the grocery store.

I hate giving good reviews at my favorite spots to visit because afterwards things have historically deteriorated. I’m rolling the dice by giving this review because this store is fantastic. I just hope it stays this way. Very good management. Employees are happy here and it shows.

Kind of a smaller store but the employees are always helpful and really nice. I love that they're open late for those nights that you realize at 10:30 pm, after you've changed into your pj's, that there's no milk for cereal in the morning so you have to get dressed and drive up to the store :) luckily this store is located conveniently close to me.

I go here early mornings, always get what I need with no hassles. I find the staff here very friendly. My cashier is often Elizabeth, who does a great job.

I love this little Safeway. It is not as big as a regular Safeway and doesn't have all the same hot foods but the customer service here is very good. I look forward to my early morning shop that I usually do every other week. They have a private parking lot and a red box. A coin star and a customer service booth I'm assuming they do money grams and stuff. All In all this is my family grocery store in Palo Alto

Very helpful cashier. I had given up on finding minute tapioca. I was checking out and she asked if I found everything I wanted. Told her I couldn't find that one item and she went and got it for me.

They have the best cooked chicken and pieces too. love it!

Just like this Safeway & Menlo Park, they always have good selection of fruit 🥝🍒🍉🍇🥒🥦🫛🥕🥔🥩🥚🧀, well you get the idea😉

Great Store! My favorite Safeway for miles around because I don't have to walk a mile inside the store to get from fruits to bread. It has everything basic that I want on a weekly basis. I shop here twice a week.

24hrs Monday-Sunday? They could not make it easier on our schedules, so this is our favorite. If I know there's a high chance we'll be waiting twice as long to pay for our groceries? I'll ink that in and make the best of it.

Have my needs and wants especially my birthday today. They had my cake 💯
