Los Altos Grill

Everything was excellent. The service was great, the food was very tasty and it came to the table just in time, not too soon It didn't take too long either. We ordered their famous dip and it came with still sizzling tortilla chips. The trout was exceptional, cooked simply and perfectly. The drink selection is small but they have everything dialled in. The seating was comfortable and the couches were clean. Plenty of parking too. Will support this business again.

The Los Altos Grill never disappoints. It is the most consistent restaurant I have ever been to. This is part of the Hillstone group, not a locally owned restaurant.

Regardless, they take the extra time and attention to the food more than anything else.
We started with the deviled eggs and dip duo. The deviled eggs had a bit too many green onions for my taste but my fellow diners loved them.
The dip duo is amazing. So simple but full of flavor and a great starter.

I always get the rib eye french dip sandwich with fries. They make the bread/roll fresh everyday and perfectly soaks in the juices but doesn’t fall apart. Highly recommend you get the creamy horseradish to go with it.
The fries are thin and crispy but need the seasoning salt.

My fellow diners had the burger that was cooked perfect and also on a fluffy fresh bun, and the Thai kale salad with roasted chicken. All were fantastic.

The best recommendation I can give you is to make a reservation. We went on a Thursday evening and it was packed. Even with our reservation we waited over 30 min and it was an over 2 hour wait for no reservation.

Also note that the seating is primarily 2 and 4 seat booths. Not a good place for big parties or young children.

I've been to Los Altos grill a handful of times. It's been busy every single time I've been there, so plan ahead. The service is great and I have always had a great experience with the service. The cocktails are awesome and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend. My favorites are the French dip, the macho salad, the grilled artichokes, the deviled eggs and of course the cornbread. I don't eat seafood, but my partner said the shrimp were delicious.

If you are going to this place - you know you will get great food. One of the best burgers in the area due to the heat meat quality. The very spicy margarita was awesome. The kale salad was also great!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Can't say enough about the service and quality of food and presentation. Cocktails were perfect and the grilled artichoke with aoli is enough to come here alone. The rib eye special was perfectly cooked and delicious.

So many great choices. Tonight we enjoyed the ceasar salad which we always order. Ceasar dressing tastes fresh and house made. Croutons are cornbread bites.

We tried the salmon toast appetizer, which was just OK. Not much flavor in the salmon

Then our socks were knocked off with the tasty French Dip. Big enough to split. We savored every bite. The au jus dip was perfect. The sour cream horseradish was divine. The bread was perfectly toasted.

The French Dip will bring us here more frequently.

We came as a couple for a Saturday date night. Had reservation, and waited probably 10 minutes to be seated after arrival. Table service and food was world class. Really excellent. I gave a big tip to the waitress for exceptional service.

Got seating quickly with a reservation. Food was great. Cocktails were great. Wife and I were dressed up so it was important to us that the vibe was great and it was. And comfy leather booths completed the experience.

It's truly an experience coming to dine here! The restaurant was packed on a weeknight, and we had to wait a bit for an open table despite having a reservation. Highly recommend getting the artichokes + dip, chicken meatballs (super juicy), kale salad, and burger (this was massive). You can tell all their ingredients are really fresh and you can definitely see and taste the quality of cooking techniques.

This is is my absolute favorite Bay Area restaurant! This is our go-to for date night, and is also good for small groups. The service is is excellent and the ambiance is a perfect combination of warmth and upscale comfort. I've had most of the dishes - they never disappoint. My favorites are the dip duo, salmon, chicken and rib platter, and emerald kale salad. The pomme puree, broccoli, cornbread, and artichokes are also delicious. The margarita is refreshing, and the wine selection is great. I love having their strong espresso with dessert. The ice cream sundae is always fun, and the oreo cookie ice cream I tried most recently was divine.

The best French dip I have ever had. My friend got the ribs and they kokked fantastic. I'll try the pork shop next

I think this place offers a lovely environment for dinner! The bar looked like it would really fun to hang out at too. We ordered the pork chop, beef ribs, as well as the chicken meatballs, smoked trout and deviled eggs. The mains were much stronger than the starters. I was extremely impressed by how tender the meat was and how generous the portions were. The desserts were fun too - we ordered all of them since we had a large group. My favorite was the banana cream pie, but you can never go wrong with Oreo and ice cream!

We recently moved to Los Altos and tonight we discovered Los Altos Grill. It was a very pleasant discovery to say the least! We were celebrating a birthday and the combination of delicious food, accommodating and friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere made it a wonderful birthday. The cornbread & grilled artichokes were very good. We had the salmon and French dip, both amazing. And the desert was sooo yummy! We will be back very soon!

Very good. The service was great and the food was even better. It was pretty packed when we went but that didn’t interfere with the service or the wait time.

LAG is the only place in Los Altos with the cocktails, ambiance, and food that is worth the time, money and effort to get a reservation. Excellent Steaks. Excellent French Dip. Roasted artichokes. Cornbread. Very good wine list. Generous cocktails. Comfy booths. Sometimes some live music to improve your evening. Horseshoe bar. They know what they're doing. I've eaten here dozens of times. Never had a bad meal, let alone poor service. Go.

The drinks were quickly delivered and tasty. The food was equally quick and delicious. The servers were personable and efficient. And we had a fun-filled, unhurried dinner with undisturbed conversation.

Upscale restaurant with great food and ambiance. Good to come with friends or colleagues. You could sit at the bar or table. But you may have to wait if you’re coming in at peak hours.

This is one of my favorite restaurants since I came to the US six years ago. It’s become a family tradition to come here every once in a while. The quality of the food and the service have been exceptional. Their menu is relatively simple but each item is well made and executed. My personal favorite would be the rotisserie chicken, cornbread, and the banana cream pie (always a must regardless how full I am).

I love Los Altos Grill. The food is always very tasty, no matter what I order. Artichoke is probably my favorite (when it's in season). Service is supreme. I just wish it was just a little bit quieter and easier to hear each other when talking.
