Mollie Stone's Markets

This is a super friendly and comfy local store. They have lots of variety, near-expiry deals on meat (I got a $3.50 steak cut once that had a best buy date two days away - amazing!), and a nice collection of pastries and cakes. The prices on daily items are a little expensive, but they have a wide selection. They also have MASSIVE vegetables.

This is a very nice neighborhood market with lots of organic and authentic food products options. Prices are astronomically high, but I belive that is pretty much established here in Palo Alto, CA. The fruits and veggies are fresh and the store is not too crowded. You always find what you look for and there's someone to help you most of the time. I highly recommend this grocery store to old palo alto neighbors and other folks in the area. Let's support local businesses more than corporate giants.

Beautiful grocery with very good produce and specialty chocolates. Thats all I need for lasting happiness. It has a nice friendly vibe from all the employees as well. Would highly recommend!

When no one else has it, try this wonderful grocery store. It has a bit of an attitude -- it caters to discriminating tastes, especially when it comes to healthy versions of what's available (sometimes to the exclusion of common fare). There are lots of warnings posted about the ill effects of certain ingredients, certainly something to consider, especially in the candy aisle. It reminds me of the health food stores of the 1970s, but a more sophisticated version.

Nice cute store can find things that u can't find in other stores very pleasant, and they have a large selection in kosher products

Excellent quality, not crowded, and generally well maintained with good customer service. It's expensive, of course, but is par for the course for the location.

Good grocery store on the order of a Trader Joe's or a Sprouts but more local

Good butcher section -- good cheese selection: I don't know wine but seems good enough particularly the box wine selection

Local SF Bay Area chain store that's done a good job of staying competitive amongst the larger grocery chains. This is for their Palo Alto store. They carry some brands and items that I can't find elsewhere, and most of the"regular" items.

I also like their deli counter where I can get a vegetarian sandwich that's tasty. Their sushi take-away seems popular, but being vegetarian I've not tried it. Organic and conventional produce available. They also have a good selection of baked goods, including fresh daily pastries from Starter Bakery, one of my favorites!

Very nice market, everything on the shelves are so beautiful 😍. A little bit pricey, but i like the way they make those vegetables and fruits very happy looking ☺☺☺

Their fruit quality is really amazing. Even though it's expensive than other stores, the quality of everything ( esp fruits and vegetables) speaks for itself. They also provide chopped fruits and vegetables which would save lots of time. Moreover they serve amazing pasta and soups. Even you can also get customize vegan cake from their bakery.

I always enjoy shopping in Molly’s Stone markets. The employees are friendly, the deli is fabulous and stuffed full of good food, and everything is clean and easy to find.

5 stars only because lady who makes my sandwiches always has a way of making me feel special. An extra piece of Andes mint chocolate here and an extra pickle there (I love both).

It's a local mini-chain with specialty products, that match the price--which often times they have people who offer samples of their products. I wouldn't come here to do all of my grocery shopping, but if I needed something quick, it is my go to place.

I found a hair in my sandwich. However despite the negative experience, the staff owned up to is and were very understanding. I will visit again. This is service you never get at safeway.

A great market! They have an extensive assortment of Kosher for Passover foods. I wish they would open a market in the South Bay. For now, Palo Alto is the furthest south they go.

This is a great local chain. I come each year from the East Bay to buy all my Passover essentials. If there was a Mollie Stone's near me, it would be my "go to" store. Great variety and helpful, friendly staff.

Quite pleasantly surprised by this store. Slightly expensive (but not as much as whole foods), but overall quality is very good. We went there quite often when we lived in Palo alto
