This review is for the bakery department at the market. We needed a custom cake for our daughter’s birthday and they hit it out of the park. Everyone enjoyed it and the team was so responsive and easy to work with. Thank you! I highly recommend them for birthday cakes and will be using them again in the future.

I went to the market store for the first time they carry such fresh fruits and vegetables I also was impressed with their fresh meat I bought some steak so fresh and tender and many healthy items. I'm going to start getting my produce at the market very very satisfied 💯

I’ve randomly dropped by The Market over the past few years; there has been a noticeable improvement in the quality of the items especially the meat department which i had concerns buying from before - no more concerns! While I live close to Whole Foods, I’m making a point to make this a regular grocery stop when I get off the freeway - partially to support small business, but I found many of the prices for staples I like (eg whole canned tomatoes from Italy; Clover low-fat milk; large avocados; organic celery; ny strip steak) are cheaper than Whole Foods (not that WF is inexpensive) and they have specialty items. The service at checkout seems to have improved as well. I’m most excited to try the frozen chocolate croissants (dough) I discovered! They also have a great cheese selection.

Easy and fun to navigate specialty grocery store, beautiful displays and concise organization of items at each turn and aisle. The selection is outstanding and filled with delightful treasures for gifting, eating, drinking, cooking! Discover flavors like San Pellegrino pomegranate orange soda, Virgil's black cherry soda, French Sauternes, helium balloons, specialty cheeses; like the tip of the iceberg of lettuce choices.

A beautiful niche market full of groceries, meats/fish and deli. They also have great cut flower bouquets and nice little things for gifts. Books, stuffed animals, plants, games and even some toys. This isn't your normal corporate chain box store. Go check it out!

I love this market. The items are pricy, some too pricy. But, everything is high quality. The cakes and baked products are fantastic. You will find the best exotic fruits in Palo Alto here. Reminds me whole foods before Amazon disaster. I definitely supporter this local market and recommend it to my fellow Silicon Valley residence.

This place is like whole foods. It's good fresh food. Fresh produce. Fresh sushi made on scene. Fresh bakery. Fresh salads, soups, sandwiches and meatball and spaghetti, wraps. They have a huge cheese selection. It's a good place to pick up lunch. They also have a Fresh meat section with a butcher.

Love the sandwiches at the deli! Walkable from my house, glad this opened up!

edited two years later to add that they made me cupcakes for a Denver-themed going away party! I asked for "peaked cupcakes with white frosting that I can make look like the Rocky Mountains." They put little wafers on the cupcakes to help make the peak, which was a nice touch since you're not biting into 100% frosting when you eat the peak. As you can see from the photos, me and my buddies added our own cupcake toppers and put them on a tiered wooden mountain, and thus Cupcake Mountain was born! (photos credit: Pro Bono Photos)

I do not live in the area and was tasked with ordering food for my daughter's baby shower. After considerable research, I decided to try The Market at Edgewood because they offer platters of the types of food we were looking for. I ordered the Market Grazing Board, Mediterranean Mezze Platter, Fresh Fruit Platter, Market Pinwheel Platter, Dips and Spreads Platter, Baguette and Crackers Platter and coffee. Working with Davis was easy; he offered guidelines on choices and graciously accommodated a special request for delivery. The food arrived on time; the platters were so fresh and artfully arranged. Our guests raved about the food, and I don't remember ever having a fruit platter that was as delectable as the one we ordered! You know your event is a success when there are few leftovers, and even the baguettes went home on request. Delicious!!!!! I am so pleased with this business, and I can absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for catering options. I regret not taking pictures; the food line began so quickly that I didn't have a chance!

Very high quality food store, with lots of interesting sides with different kinds of food, or food related items. The produce department would be a big reason for me to come there. It is much than just a standard food store with all of what they have to offer.
One big part that I do like, is a part by the Produce, is a section that has puzzles, gifts for children, and all sorts of unusually nice gifts. I don't need any plants or flowers, but their display of the plants and garden things, give on an instant "thought" about buying some plant, etc. Someone who does the buying for that store, does a very good job with their store, product mix.

I love this supermarket, which is in a good location in the same shopping center as my favorite bagel shop, House of Bagels. Because we pick up bagels frequently I also stop in at The Market to pick up hummus, cucumber, tomatoes and onions to have a nice east-coast bagel spread. Right at the entrance is awesome (but pricey) orange juice which is totally worth it. Super fresh and delicious. This is a higher end supermarket where you'll find some foods that you don't find at Safeway. The store is clean, well stocked and the cashiers are friendly. There aren't many cashiers however I have never had to wait in line for more than a few minutes.

This is a wonderful store! Prices are better than Whole Foods and the vegetables and fruits are fresh and wholesome. The meat counter is awesome! Everything we've bought from chicken thighs to lamb has been delicious. But, don't miss the bakery!! Everything is freshly made and just so wonderful! We especially like the Napoleon's the macrons and the kuchen. A bonus is that we can walk to the store. All of the folks who work there are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Love having this store here. Small store with great selection of produce, decent prepared food selection, and good cheese and meat. Good selection for cooking sauces, things like curry paste and tomato sauce. The bakery cakes and things are AMAZING -- just got my birthday cake from here and my brother said he'd be willing to go get another and celebrate again to have another cake. It was beautiful too.

It's not a huge footprint store, so selection for household goods is limited, as well as some beverages, but all in all, it's a great place to pick up things for dinner. Best part: the people who work here are really nice, always courteous and pleasant, and helpful.

Stopped in to The Market at Edgewood for lunch today - had an avocado toast that was fresh and fabulous! The store is beautiful and the food selection is amazing. The cakes in the bakery department are spectacular and I even wanted to buy the little Halloween talking dog they had in the specialty section! I’ll be back for sure!

Love the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables here. The bakery is always brimming with jaw dropping desserts. Their dips are also top notch, always full of flavor and never bland. The store owners and employees are all super friendly and make sure their shoppers are taken care of.
