My absolute go to cake spot!! It’s pretty and it’s not heavily sweet! Quiet place to grab a coffee too!

I was craving a matcha latte here and saw this creamy pegasus! The barista made this coffee with latte art and I was so impressed! He said for regulars who are nice, he makes them. This place has some delicious cakes and pastries…seems like the workers pride themselves in quality. Always meant to write a review for Saturna cakes, it’s well done with staff that seem happy. The atmosphere is good - there is mainly outdoor seating. On a beautiful Fall day, it is sunny and warm outside and you can find people chitchatting under patio table umbrellas.

🥂 I visited Downtown Los Altos over the weekend, it's definitely a beautiful and serene town! Unlike the bustling and popular downtown areas of Mountain View and Palo Alto, Los Altos is a perfect place to relax and take a leisurely walk with family.

🍰 We also visited the famous Japanese cake shop in town: Satura Cakes. The flavors were delightful, without being overly buttery! I chose the matcha cream puff and Earl Grey Cake, and both were incredibly delicious! I'll try their cheesecake next time! The shop doesn't have many seats inside, but you can sit outside, enjoying the warm summer breeze while indulging in the cakes.

Everything looks appetizing and delicious, with various variations of pastries and cakes, but the prices are above average

Loved it so much! no wonder there was a line. Coffee was good. cakes were very tasty not too sugary. Really liked spinach cheese pastry!

We also ordered cakes from them two times, placed order online, then picked up on chosen time. Bergamot cake is very good!

Best matcha puffs I had around bay area. Not too sweet and solid taste of matcha. Their bread is great too. I would like to try something unusual so I get a leek bread. It is surprisingly good. Also ordered ice mocha, not great but okay to me. Will try order online next time because the line is so long that out of door and all the way around the street corner. People love this place!

A gem of a patisserie albeit very pricey. But it’s Los Altos and given the quality of the items, they can command the high price. The place is always packed and there are long lines outside the door. They have some seating area on the outside. They also serve coffee. This is a local favorite and one could see people just buying full cakes from here. Shows how revered the place is.

Coming to the baked goods, the following items were super delicious:

- chocolate croissant - a full croissant covered in dark chocolate. A true delight.

- Japanese pastry- very light and airy and only lightly sweet. Layers of sponge cake with cream and fruits in the middle and on top. Would be an excellent choice for the summer.

- raspberry donut- the name says it all. It was sprinkled with powdered sugar and was served fresh.

- tiramisu - zingy and chocolatey. Perfect with tea or a latte.

The coffee was hot and strong. They had some nice decor for the holidays. Service was quick and friendly.

We got two slices of cheesecake and original and green tea puffs. We also order latte and americano when we were at the counter because the smell was really good.
The cheesecake was actually very tasty, but the one really surprising was the puff! Perfectly filled and not too sweet. The shell was just crispy enough but not too tough.

Satura Bakery is a hidden gem in Los Altos that has quickly become my favorite spot for sweet treats. Their cakes are amazing, with a delicate balance of flavors and textures. Mango coconut cake has been our family favorite. The cakes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making them perfect for any special occasion.

Best chocolate pound cake. Small and expensive but worth it. Earl Grey Tea cake was delicate in flavor and texture. Classic Chocolate cake was full on chocolate flavor with varying degree of chocolate intensity, the top thin layer had the strongest flavor. Bread pudding was just ok, not extraordinary unlike the cakes.

The chocolate covered croissant and the new chocolate croissant are out of this world. Besides a broad selection of cakes and pastries they also offer coffee and matcha. Be aware that the prices are quite steep They have outdoor seating as well. Make sure to arrive early during the weekends because it gets packed! Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

A wonderful afternoon tea place. Had their Cafe Latte and the Earl Grey cake. Great taste and great presentation as usual. Price has gone up significantly since COVID, the cake cost $9.5 before tips! Before COVID it was $6.5... the good old days😭

Lovely dome cakes! They're very light and have such a wonderful texture. The fruit they use tastes fresh and I could eat it over a whole week without feeling tired of it. Their other pastries look great, too. I recommend coming by for breakfast to try any of their fruit pastries.

Although I'm lactose intolerant and couldn't eat a single item sold at the store, I appreciate how everything was presented so well at the counter, the staff was really friendly, and my friends said the cakes were so delicious they'd bike 30 minutes each way just to have a slice. Everyone enjoyed it so much that the happiness was palpable - despite not being able to eat anything I still felt like the experience was worthwhile. Of note, at 3:00 PM on a Sunday there was a solid line, although it was absolutely manageable and we were able to find a table outside.

Great regular coffee; much better than other cafes locally and cheaper $2.75 vs redberry weak drip at $4. Pastries top notch too and service is fast and friendly

The strawberry shortcake shaped like a darling piglet is beyond charming. Not too sweet and light as a cloud, this delightful treat is worth your time and attention. If it’s not your birthday, invent something to celebrate and get out there and buy a cake!

Bought 5 different flavors for a tasting party. Earl Grey was best. Would definitely come back.
