This restaurant in Portola Valley is fantastic! We tried their BBQ chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, tomato soup, and garlic parmesan french fries, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the portion sizes were generous. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. Can't wait to return and try more of their menu items! 🤩

Lovely place for outdoor dining on the outskirts of Palo Alto.
The ambience is very casual, rustic and chic. The selection of food and drink items are appropriate to the ambience and the house beers are awesome.
Located in a wooded area by the side of a river, the place can be somewhat cold despite the warm heaters at night, so carry some woolens.
The pizzas are made in wood fired ovens and taste and smell great.
Parking is available on the ground outside and rest rooms are available but limited in number.
Strongly recommended for those who like an open air and countryside type ambience!

I loved the outdoor beer garden at Alpine Inn. It featured great food from Zott's, delicious beers, wines, and cocktails, and a super fun vibe. Heat lamps at every table protect you from the evening chill. Service is fast and courteous. Ordering and payment is super easy via QR codes. Come here for the perfect place to unwind after work!

The food tastes amazing!! It also comes out so quickly after you order. Service is great and they are kind. The outside seating is beautiful and warm with heaters set up in all areas. Great place for date night or gathering with friends. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by here for the first time since they renovated. The beer garden had nice picnic tables with umbrellas and outdoor heaters. You can order directly from the QR code on your table and they will just bring you your order! I had the watermelon mule and some fries! A nice place for happy hour!

Would recommend this place for the vibes and atmosphere, food was good but mostly here for the environment.

Parking is pretty difficult though, might need to park on the side of the road.

Reuben was not great but pizza and their pretzel were pretty good!

The atmosphere was relaxed and down to earth, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family.

I had the bacon jam sliders, The combination of juicy beef patties and the sweet and smoky bacon jam was awesome.

My son, tried The Francesco wood fire pizza, the crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor.

One thing that caught my attention was the eclectic collection of decorations at Rossotti's. The display of Stanford football memorabilia added a touch of local charm and created a welcoming ambiance. Additionally, the outdoor setting surrounded by trees and wooded hills provided a serene backdrop, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Rossotti's offers delicious food in a casual and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're craving sliders, wood fire pizza, or a delectable dessert, this place has it all. With its eclectic decor and beautiful outdoor setting, it's a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. I highly recommend giving Rossotti's a visit – you won't be disappointed!

Delicious food especially after a hike. We enjoyed the burgers, garlic fries (just the right amount of parmesan) , cucumber refresher and the berry bramble.

Seating is outdoors. Feels like a large picnic area with lovely white umbrellas for shade. Gets really hot in summer but there's ample shade.

Clean, spacious bathrooms though there's always a line there's only two.

Rossotti’s was a great experience. I definitely recommend carpooling with 4 people since they have priority parking for 4+ adults. Parking can be difficult even though they have a huge lot. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy so we had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. While waiting theres a window where you can get some simple drinks, but people did not service the window for about 10 minutes so there was a huge line.

The food once we got seated was delicious. The pizzas were delicious and unique, they definitely fill you up. My friends loved the Brussels sprouts, but I was quite indifferent to them. The garlic fries were good and the banana pudding was made with fresh bananas and was pretty mild in the flavoring. The watermelon margarita was refreshing and enjoyable to sip. I definitely want to go back and try other dishes!

The best part of Rosotti’s is the atmosphere. Every table is covered and there are ample trees. There’s also spots where you can catch the game in the dine in area. I loved the lights and the overall feeling of being in the space.

Lots of room and very cool outdoor space. Got the Brutus salad, was delicious and big enough to share for two people. Also got the besio pizza and was fantastic - loved having honey on it. Best part of alpine was that they give you an entire water pitcher at your table. Wish every restaurant would do that!

Came in without reservations and they were able to accommodate my husband and I quickly. My husband is in a wheelchair and it was a smooth walk to our outdoor seating. Food is phenomenal, music is 🔥, and ambience is inclusive and welcoming. Will be back again.

We've wanted to try this place out with our pup but it's usually crowded and difficult to find parking. We lucked out yesterday and got lucky when someone pulled out of their spot as we were arriving. Festive atmosphere with the decorations. Lots of families, groups and pups. We enjoyed the food and drinks we ordered.

They have a great atmosphere and food. It's both dog and kid friendly. It would be nice if they had high chairs though. Our favorite things to get are the brussel sprouts, sliders, Cesar salad, and pizza. Everything else we've gotten has been good too. The tri tip sandwich was great. Their pork tacos are very good too. We got our daughter the chicken strips and they were very tender 😀

You can eat one of the best pizzas in the Bay Area here! We’re vegetarians and we found many options here. Strongly recommend. Note that parking might be an issue in the weekends.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday. There's a parking lot for cars, and posts to tie horses up. There was a 30 minutes wait, but it didn't feel long at all because there's a shaded area to sit and order drinks. I received a text and a call when a table was available. I like the large outdoor seating area with tables and umbrellas. The tables were mostly filled with people, and the atmosphere was pretty chilled. The service was great. Ordered the Chili Cheese Smothered Dog, Wunderdog with tomato jam, and Giant Wunderbar Pretzel. I had the Slow Smoked Pork Sandwich with added avocado and fries, which tasted so good!

Came on a bustling Saturday afternoon. Lots of parking spaces but very packed. Phenomenal ordering system in which you order on the phone with VERY quick service. I am very impressed with the service and the ambiance. Food was delicious. Pizza was cooked perfect, the trío taco plate was amazing and the beer selection is fantastic. Only down side is they limit your stay to two hours.

Really special outdoor restaurant with a nice forested atmosphere, heat lamps, and reasonably priced food and drinks that are very good. This place knows what they're doing! We'll definitely be back when in the neighborhood

It is an outdoor restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere in the mountains. It's a place with a long history. It has a long history as a beer garden close to Stanford University, but the facility is remodeled so it is pleasant. The indoor seating is very small and the outdoor garden seating is spacious.

The burgers are very tasty. French fries, craft beer, craft hamburger, and pizza were all delicious. We plan to visit again when the weather is nice. However, parking is difficult as it is a popular spot.

Experience great good at this historic restaurant which opened almost 172 years ago. The food is great, although the menu is small but has enough choice of appetizers, burgers, tacos, and deserts. Margaritas are lovely, decent wines on the tap and bottles, and some comforting cocktails are must try.

Outdoor seating is available, but if you want to enjoy the charm of a historical place, get seated inside for table service. Although you will use qr codes to order online. Food is brought quickly to your table.

A true Silicon Valley iconic restaurant that I finally visited after reading about this place in the books.

Come enjoy a great historic restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great service.
