Absolutely beautiful open reserve! I have been coming here for a couple of years now. Multiple well maintained trails of varying lengths. It is a delight to stop by the farm!

Hiked alone first time and really enjoyed it. There are two trails (cement hill and muddy trail) which eventually merge to the direction of the farm. It's about 35 min. walk to the base. The scenery was beautiful. Saw a family of deer. Bring water.

A good place for a weekend hike! Is a bit crowded but they have a few parking lots for overflow. There’s also a small farm along the way which was fun. Watch out for coyotes though

Easy to access and free parking with plenty of trails for all age groups and levels. It’s beautiful during the rainy season and early spring.

My go to hiking place when I don't have a lot of time. They have different trails for every fitness/comfort level and lots of areas to rest, enjoy the view or hammock.

I am so Blessed to live here in Los Altos Hills...the wildlife on our property thrive in this beautiful ecosystem...Pacific Black Tail Deer, Wild Turkey, Eastern &Western Gray Squirrels, Chipmunks, very social lizards 🦎 Rattlesnakes this summer,King Snakes, A large female Coopers Hawk with odd behavior of just flying gently to the largest water bowl...ignoring all the species of birds and squirrels. A Raptor professional said she most likely was a rescue and release...getting food from humans and released once trained to hunt successfully. I have her listed on lost and found sites...she visits frequently to perch unbelievably close to me while I garden and clean her water bowl...when I leave she will take a bath with her massive wing span. She suddenly jumps up on banister and flys up into our huge 200yr old Oak Tree.

Absolute beautiful with many trails to hike based on your level. Black Summit is the most challenging one!

Great place for the whole family!
So many trails for all sorts of fun! An awesome farm for kids to play in and see animals, can buy fresh eggs from them too (very limited availability)
The main trail from parking to the farm is very stroller/wheelchair friendly.
There is plenty of parking though it has taken us a few rounds to find a spot some times.
There is a bathroom accessible from many of the trails as well as the one in the parkings.
Trails are well maintained and clean. A few trails with decent elevation gain and creekside walks.

Nice place with many different hiking trails, some more difficult than the others. It is also ideal for families with kids. We saw many animals along the way.

I've been hiking here for years. It's a close yet amazing escape for hiking trails and nature. My favorite trail is the Steven E. Arbors trail, which is referred to as the "PGE" trail on AllTrails and Strava due to it being a former PG&E service road. On a good day, I'll hike from the parking lots to the peak of Black Mountain. There are restrooms and drinking fountains at the parking lots, as well as trail maps at the trailheads. No pets allowed, due to it being a conservation area for wildlife. Highly recommended!

Excellent hiking spot close to Cupertino. There are also lots of biking paths and frequented by runners training for their events. It's lush green at the moment and lots of wild turkeys around. There are several different routes you can choose from and at various difficulty levels. They have multiple parking lots so there's a bit of driving around required to find a spot during peak hours. There's also a farm which you can easily walk to.

Lush green all around due to recent rains. Plenty of parking if you go here on weekdays. Weekends are a totally different story.
They have constructed some trails around parking area. That’s pretty nice too especially in winter when you want to get more sun on your skin. Inside hiking trails never disappoint! Try to avoid weekends though.

very great hiking trails, plenty of shade in the valley, clear creek stream, kids love this beautiful place. On the top of the hill, you can overlook the buildings of several bay area cities in the distance.

Excellent hiking, biking, and outdoor recreation area with plenty of parking, amazing views, great trails, public facilities, and safety! Highly recommend the high meadows trail for amazing views at a moderate difficulty. It’s free to enter!

There are water fountains, bathrooms, and 8 parking lots in this area. They have places to barbecue, picnic tables, and even a bike maintenance spot.

Definitely worth visiting for getting a workout in. Can be busy, but it’s so large that it really doesn’t matter!

Multiple long hikes... Rainy days make the ecosystem alive..fall colors and flowing streams..it's as if you are in the enchanted wood by Enid Blyton

Lovely place to explore outdoors. Good hiking trails. We took the easy deer hollow trail with kids and it was very good. A small creek, lots of birds, a farm at the end of the trail. Lot of squirrels. Place was huge, parking lots are huge too and many lots around different trails. Restrooms are neat.
