Love this gym and my son loves the daycare!! The owner Danny is so nice filled with positive energy always greeting people walking in/ out of the gym. The staff is super nice along with the childcare employees. I go in the mornings so it isn’t too packed in there. This is the first daycare my son has gone to and within a week he adjusted so fast. I have no complaints about Golds.

Love this 24/7 gym! Danny (the owner) is friendly and always updating the gym with new equipment, a fresh coat of paint or a better layout. I’ve been coming here for about a year now and have never felt more welcome in a gym. Staff is always smiling and waving hello/goodbye. Locker rooms are always clean. Golds is even open holidays which I appreciate.

Love this gym! The owner is super friendly and always willing to help. The staff is always happy and smiling. The ladies in the kid’s cove are sooo sweet and charismatic every time I leave my little there. Truly 5/5 stars for being so great!

The Owner Danny is very nice and gave me a great welcome to the gym once I started going there. Brenda is always nice and speaks to me when I come in as well :) they also play Rupauls drag race on the TVs. LGBT+ friendly place ❤ also I have seen reviews about the gym equipment and I can honestly say that all the equipment I’ve used have worked as they should.

I’ve been with Golds Gym since 2020. All I can say is the staff is amazing. My daughter has always loved coming to the daycare here and I love the environment.

Not only an amazing gym and atmosphere but the daycare Is amazing too. My daughter loves going. The teachers are always attentive, kind and compassionate. Every time I look into the daycare to check on her, they are always watching the kids play together. I love having time to workout knowing my daughter is having fun and is in good hands. I highly recommend golds gym and the child care.

I’ve been to different Gold’s Gyms around the country and I can say that this one is by far the best I’ve ever been to. The staff are helpful and kind. The facility is clean, organized, and it has everything you need. The culture of the gym is welcoming and I’ve never felt uncomfortable working out here. Other patrons are generally courteous and follow great gym etiquette.

If you’re looking for a good gym in the Jacksonville area, this is the best one. It has everything you need and then some. I’ve been to toooons of gyms across the country and this Gold’s Gym is by far my favorite. Aside from having everything I need, it has ENOUGH of everything that I rarely ever have to wait for anyone to finish their sets (I go in the morning). The main thing that sets this gym apart though is the owner. He’s the only owner I’ve ever met who actively engages with all of his patrons. He’s in there just about every day making sure people are having a good experience. I’ve got nothing bad to say. Highly recommended.

This has been the best gym I’ve been a member of since 2019. Constant improvements to the facility, you see where your money goes. Their childcare workers are fun, energetic and warm towards the kids. The owner Danny, and front desk right hand woman Brenda are the friendliest people and keep me coming back!

There is a large variety of equipment, the other gym-goers are respectful, and the owner and his staff are always very friendly. The vibe is that of a bodybuilding gym, minus the ego. I've felt welcomed as a newbie lifter and have a great experience every time I go.

Day two and already feeling more motivated about workouts again. Gym is packed with a variety of equipment and space is functional. Old school with a much smaller and focused crowd. Not a hang out spot like Fit4life. Cancelling my membership to that gym now that I've tried this.

Gold’s Gym is the best workout facility in Jacksonville. It has everything you need to achieve your fitness goals. I especially like how clean it is kept. The best part is that they really care about you. Danny, who is the managing partner knows everyone by name, and takes the time to know you and your family. We will not go anywhere else.

LOVE this gym! Brenda has been nothing but encouraging and welcoming since the first day I stepped foot through the door for a tour. She is the reason why I returned the following week to sign up. The morning crew.. 8-10am is truly amazing. I’ve been attending Gold’s for 7 weeks now and I have zero complaints! The gym is clean. The staff and the gym goers are friendly and most importantly encouraging and are happy to help you when you have questions. The price of child care is reasonable and I feel comfortable leaving my daughter there when needed (the children are safe behind locked doors). Don’t let the ‘horror’ stories you hear about gyms hold you back from your goals. Also, we need more Brenda’s in this world ☺

I have been a Gold's Gym member in Jacksonville, NC for twenty-two years now. I can tell you firsthand that Danny and his staff do an amazing job of taking care of the members. You will see one of the best smiles in town when Brenda greets you upon entry to the facility. Gold's has a very supportive environment, which helps to promote a better exercise experience.

The equipment is top-notch and well-maintained. I like the availability of some great machine and cable systems, but the free-weights and associated equipment are fantastic. If you are interested in classes for activities like yoga, they have those available too.

There is a simple reason why I have stayed so long with Gold's Gym - it is because there is no better solution in the local area to take care such a wide breath of exercise needs. I would encourage you to check it out to at least take a tour with one of the staff members.

Brenda has been amazing ever since I first started coming to Gold’s. She is super helpful and has made my experience at Gold’s gym great. If you are looking for a honest, and trustworthy staff member, ask for Brenda.

Also, the community here is great. I’ve lost multiple items in the past and the members always turn them into the lost and found. So grateful for that.

Golds Gym in Jacksonville has amazing Staff! Brenda is always smiling and cheerful; it feels good to walk into a gym with uplifting staff! The Equipment is always amazing and i keep seeing new machines come in! Overall i give this gym a 5 star rating and that will never change in my eyes!
