We’ve been fans of First for a long time!! Kind & caring staff, awesome facilities and programs for everyone. We love how they use the building for the community and have many great options for kids! It’s also cool that they interpret for the deaf community too! Y’all give it a try!

First McKinney has been our '2nd home' for many years. It is a family of Christ-followers that is as welcoming and genuine as it is passionate for demonstrating Jesus' love both locally and globally. Sermons are always based upon Scripture and communicated by a humble staff.

There are many opportunities for individuals and families from all walks and stages of life to get plugged in, find encouragement, and grow in their faith. Our children have grown up through the incredible childrens and youth programs at First McKinney and found an environment that is safe, supportive, instructional, and fun!

Been coming to this church since I first moved to McKinney from Waco back in Aug of 2017. After graduating college, I really struggled in finding young adult connections my own age that were also in similar life situations. Got connected to the Singles/Young Adult group, and have made some great friends there! Everyone is super friendly and supportive, and Pastor Sam is likewise just as friendly and engaging to talk to. I’m glad I’ve found a community of fellow believers that can keep me accountable and encourage me.

My family and I just moved back to the area and started attending FBC McKinney again. I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am for this church family. The worship on Sunday morning is incredible. Our small group has been so supportive of us and we've made tons of friends. I feel like we are finally home.

After 2 years of searching we found our church home here at First McKinney. From the moment you walk in its one of the most welcoming places we have ever been.

After 5 months we joined the church, were baptized and I can't see is growing our faith any place else.

The children's ministry is amazing which is a plus but it's truly the people that make this church a family.

We can’t say enough great things about our church family. The youth and children’s ministry are both amazing programs. We feel so blessed to be a part of each of them. The church staff truly loves and serves not only our church family but also the surrounding community. If you are looking for a church that is mission focused, has Biblically sound preaching, and has its doors open to imperfect people then this is the place you need be.

First McKinney is a warm and friendly body of Christ followers focused on living and loving like Jesus. You will find folks from all walks of life and all stages of life in community. The pastor is a great communicator of God's word and firmly based in Scripture. The small groups are diverse and really allow individuals, families and kids to plug into a community for fellowship, accountability and teaching. First McKinney also has a great heart for those that do not know Jesus in a real and personal way ... whether it be the next generation, our neighbors in Collin county, others in our country or the nations around the world.

One of the things that I love about First McKinney is their heart for missions. They regularly send out missionary teams and families, both locally and around the world....high school mission trips to Hungary, family mission trips to rebuild after storms, partnering with local homeless ministries, commissioning long-term medical teams overseas, and working together with other churches and organizations to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

This is where we’ve raised our kids and found the people we do life with. The members are multi-generational and there are great Children’s and Youth Ministries. No matter what life stage you are in, there’s something here for you and people to do it with! They preach from the Bible and point people to Jesus.

I get the latest updates. I love the online Utube services and the emails I receive with the church news. I love Brother Sam Holmes and Justin and Holley. I can no longer attend due to my health.

First McKinney’s leadership teaches the Bible! Love one another and go and tell others about Christ! Great children’s and youth departments.

First McKinney has been home since 2006. Pastor Sam is phenomenal. True teaching out of the Word of God. Justin and Hollye Hornsby lead worship and are so gifted. If you want to be a part of a church that is on mission for Jesus, come join us!!

First McKinney is amazing. Welcomed us right in when we first moved to the area, and the caring leadership and community within the church keep us coming back!

Great place to worship, build relationships through LifeGroups. We meet every Sundays, have monthly gatherings, and exchange prayer cards monthly so pray for each other. God is working, will be glad to have you.

Our kids go to the preschool here and we absolutely love it. The staff is amazing and everyone is so kind to our children. The facilities are clean and well kept. As for pricing they seem on par with other Mother’s Day out programs. No complaints here.

I have worked at this church for 10 years. It has been a huge blessing for me and my family. The people are real and loving.

A wonderful place to worship and call my church home. The services are very real, uplifting and encouraging. Someone invited me, so I inviting you to visit. The invitation changed my life.

Solid staff. Genuine hearts to serve. The Lead Pastor, Sam Holm, is the real deal. He's the same guy both on and off the stage. He truly has a heart to live and love like Jesus, and to see others do the same.

Joining FMB is like getting back into Christianity after a long hiatus. It's all very familiar. I guess I just got lost for a while. I attended other churches, but they're pretty dead.

Its home to my family and me. The focus of having that relationship with Christ, doing good as an expression of Christ within us, and unconditional love of God makes every weekend's service feel like I've come to my father's house.
