Baldino's Lock & Key Mclean

Baldino's in McLean is the absolute best place to have keys made, buy locks or service existing locks.
Paul has been cutting several keys a month for me for many years and I have yet to have one that was not perfect. Whether the locks are 5 months or 50 years old, he is always able to help. Outstanding service and products.

Paul, the McLean Shop Manager, was most helpful solving my safe lock problem and with information that will help me in planning my next safe purchase...all this while also helping three other people have keys made. I've had keys made here before, but never needed anything else. Then today I went in to ask about fixing a loose door knob. Instead of charging me to come to my house and do it for me, he pulled apart a similar door knob and showed me how to do it myself (which I succeeded in doing, yay). Greatly appreciated!

I had a very old key that all those machines, Lowe’s and Home Depot couldn’t copy for me. Took the key here and the friendly guy did it in 2 minutes and I was out. I would definitely go back!!

The locksmith had to do research to make my key. He took the time to find the proper key for what I needed. Excellent customer service!

Update: moving from 1 to 3 stars as I called and the company was kind and gave me back 10%. Still overpriced for the work. I've learned my lesson. Learn from me and know your prices for 5 minutes of expensive drill work.

Had a lock fixed in my home. This required drilling a new hole in the frame. 5 minutes tops. Asked the locksmith to also reverse a knob that was installed incorrectly. 5 more minutes taking the handle off and putting it back on. Lastly, got a new brass door handle. 5 minutes. Cost for new knob was about $15 at home depot. For under 30 minutes of work plus a new knob, I was charged close to $500. This should job have been $150. Overpriced! Grab a handyman, I do not recommended this company unless you enjoy throwing away your cash.

Mission was to program a car key fob. Shop closes 4:30, I was there 4:10 but they didnt want to try because it was to late! On second day it was a success, took maybe 10 min.

Nice store. Clean and professional. They couldn't re-key my lock on site and needed to send it to the main store. When he said "$72", I nearly choked. I mailed it off to have it done for 1/3 of that. Ah well.

Called to try and get a locksmith and they let me know that they couldn't get to me until tomorrow in the afternoon... If I could wait that long then I wouldn't need their assistance.
