Really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was great; I had the braised short rib and ate every bite. The cocktails were delicious as well! The service was excellent. Would absolutely come back.

The food was perfect...right amount of seasoning, right-sized portions, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the beet salad, tuna tartare, free bird chicken and beef short rib (served over obviously homemade papardelle) while saving room for their brownie, which I would say was just rich enough to remain somewhat "light".

We had another delicious dinner at The Farmhouse. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to find two seats at the bar. I started with the kale salad and my wife had the Farmers salad. We both had the Halibut - everything was presented and prepared to perfection. Our bartender was very pleasant and you could tell she loved her job by the way she mixed all those drinks and was smiling all the time. I don’t recall her name but it was Thursday evening around 6 pm. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant!

Wonderful dinner! Delicious food and great service. The outdoor patio dining was so pleasant & relaxing. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday with my husband. :)

The service staff was very nice and pleasant. The plate I had was egg and cheese, lettuce with dressing and mashed potatoes. Very good.

Very good food and service!

The food is amazing. I would’ve went just for the bread, but that’s not all. In addition, the short ribs are fantastic with some of the best homemade pasta I’ve had. To top it off, the staff was very nice. I will be going back soon.

We haven’t been here in a while, and came back to a fabulous dining experience. We were seated promptly in the charming outdoor space. Although the noise level was high, our intimate table for two still felt private. The wait staff was super professional and took our orders promptly. The food came out so quickly I couldn’t believe it! They had a great selection of creative cocktails appetizers and main courses. We ordered the tuna tartare and crabcakes as appetizers, and both were delicious, beautiful, and generous. We had the sole and the shrimp tacos for our main courses, and the latter came with 3 giant tacos with HUGE shrimp— delicious ($29). The soul was a bit skimpy for someone with a hearty appetite, but I was happy to share one of my three huge tacos. The only disappointment on the menu was no dessert options without dairy. While I appreciate a highly curated menu, lots of us need/want a dessert choice that isn’t rich, just to end on a special note. Their hostess staff was also superb and efficient. I believe that their use of handheld wireless ordering devices must be adding speed to their turnaround. Kudos to The Farmhouse! We will be back again soon!

A husband and wife team, Dora Tavel-Sanchez Luz and Gabriel Sanchez Luz, have over thirty-five years of combined experience working in restaurants in Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston.

They are planted in Needham, with this cozy, farm-to-table restaurant which sources organic and local ingredients. Their staff is passionate about food, libations, and caring for the guest. They strive to enrich each guest's experience by providing warm, knowledgeable, unpretentious service and hospitality.

All are welcome. Dora and Gabriel have journeyed around New England to use reclaimed wood from barns being torn down and old dilapidated farm houses.

In the Farmhouse, it is their hope you will feel transplanted to a rustic elegant farmhouse, like their family farm in Cornville, Maine - enjoying the hand-crafted cocktails and clean flavors of local, organic, contemporary American cuisine.

Outstanding food and setting. Love sitting outside and enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Don't miss the tuna tartare, truffle fries and, if they're serving it, the veal Milanese is outstanding (sadly this has been absent from the menu recently, please bring it back!!).

I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, to the Farmhouse. Great choice. They have an creative cocktail menu, and an interesting, delicious menu of food choices. Everything arrived piping hot, and cooked perfectly. They also brought my friend a fun birthday dessert. Outstanding service, excellent food.

What a wonderful way to celebrate something special or take a respite from your own kitchen as a true treat. The food is upscaled but with a healthy, rustic and fresh flare . Attention to details is the key to a great experience with something for everyone. The service staff was well informed about the offerings and very attentive. A very nice experience all around.

Wow! What a great experience! Alyssa's service was impeccable, and everything she recommended was delicious!! The food was wonderful and the drinks were great too! Plenty of gluten free options. I would highly recommend. Only suggestion would be more gluten free and vegetarian options- otherwise it was so, so good!

This is one of our favorite places to eat outside of Boston. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but my personal favorites are the fish tacos and short ribs. The staff is great and the expanded outside dining area is a nice addition for summer dinners. This is a must try restaurant whether you're local or visiting!

Delicious food and attentive service. The back entrance is well hidden to the right of the pizza place. I loved the sweet butternut squash soup but a friend equally hated it.

Great food. Would highly recommend it. We were in Boston visiting our daughter and went there for dinner.

The halibut is a feature of their menu and is excellent as is the food generally. We go frequently and there is plenty of variety on the menu.
