Needham Center Fine Wines

I had a lovely time here, never having been in before. I wanted to check if they had a Chilean Cab that was rare to find but once I went it and started looking around, I found so many other gems. My husband and I are vegan and they had a selection of VEGAN cheeses, VEGAN ice creams of all different (exciting) flavors, vegan snacks, dried fruit, dates, nuts, olives, pasta, even gifts for your loved one. I wasn't expecting them to have cigars, even. But they had everything. And the beers? HUGE selection. Will definitely be back in to explore more goodies!! They have tastings on Fridays (beer+spirits) and Saturdays (wines) too, apparently. Great job to whoever manages the store!

In addition to an impressive selection of interesting craft beers, you will find Jeni’s ice cream, the best you’ve ever had. Looking for something specific? Special orders are no problem. Ample free parking in the huge lot behind the store, adjacent to the train.

Went in looking for a specific whiskey and was helped immediately! He was super knowledgeable and I had a great experience.

Awesome. I found what I was looking for online, and their inventory was accurate. Service was outstanding. They were very quick to process my order. I look forward to doing more business with him in the future. Not only do they have a great wine selection, but I noticed they have a very intriguing selection of Irish, Scotch and other whiskeys.

I've had excellent experiences with this wine shop. I live within the 10 mile range in which they will deliver for free. Since I don't drive, this service is crucial. But the strength of the place isn't the delivery; it's the quality and price of the wines (and beer) that they stock.

Excellent, expert staff and attractive layout with parking right behind store (Chapel St Parking Lot) They even had a friend's favorite wine from Jordan! Lots of tastings that keep us learning more about both wines, spirit's and beers each time we visit. Pretty good cheese selections and a wide assortment of chocolates and sweets. They've also done special orders for us. A high quality, broad selection liquor store in center of downtown Needham.

Pleasantly surprised with the selection of everything in such a tiny place! A lot of stuff which you can't even find in liquor superstores! Pricing is very reasonable - a little bit higher overall than in large stores, but some cognacs and whiskeys are even cheaper! Definitely worth visiting and shopping!

The staff were both helpful & knowledgeable. It is one of those gem like wine stores where the selection is curated and a touch eccentric. The warren of aisles encourages you to try something new, beguiling you with somber bottles and mysterious names. I would love to have this be my local wine store.

We have several very good wine stores in Newton, but I travel to Needham because the selection and service at Needham Center Fine Wines are both heads and shoulders above their competitors. There are always interesting new wines from small vineyards and small batch liquors that are hard to find. If I can't get there, they will look at my buying history and hand pick a case of wines for me and deliver. It's really the gold standard for a fine wine and liquor store. If you haven't been you will not be disappointed.

An offshoot of the larger Ball Square Liquors. Packs a lot of punch in a small space. Specializes in diverse collection of liquor and craft beer. Somewhat less extensive but still functional wine collection. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. If they can, they will order a missing item, especially if other branches carry it. Perks include Wine of the Month Club (working on beer as well), weekly tastings in each category, limited local delivery and mailing list. Small food section, including cheese, bread, specialty condiments.

Wow! What a great store. Jacob and Jon are fantastic.We initially went in as they were one of the only stores that stocked a particular Bugey Cerdon Rose we wanted to try. We are now regulars!

Great selection of specialty bottles. Knowledgeable staff. I'm not a drinker so they always help me pick out what I need as gifts.

I first found this place as a great source for Jack's Abby. Now I just trust that if I can't find what I was looking for, they'd be able to recommend a substitute, and they've always come through, not with good stuff, but with GREAT stuff.

What's to say this place has unique and well known vintage's. The owner stocks great wine and great cheese. There's a reason they get great reviews.

Modest footprint but packed with offerings above its size. Stacked high, and in every nook and cranny; so leverage the very knowledgeable staff.
