EL TORO BAR & GRILL

This place was great! Very clean from what I saw. The service for our group of 30 was fantastic! We'd reserved a table for 20 and they were fabulous at accommodating all that showed. The food was outstanding as well! I had asked all in our group if they were happy with food & services and everyone was! Will definitely go back.

Las Palapas, in Livonia has always been my comparison for any other Mexican restaurant I visit.

The Fajita Burritos?! SO good! The flavor of the fajita chicken was amazing!!
The Burrito Ranchero? Ugh! You’ve never had such delicious Chorizo!! It wasn’t greasy! It wasn’t dry! It was PERFECT!! And the flavor?! Holy heck!
Margaritas?? On point!
David was a great Bartender and Miami was gracious and informative!

I can hardly wait to go back and indulge again!!

My waiter was kinda weird kept asking me to order every second but the food was so good and the drinks was even better I really enjoyed it

Quick, delicious and well priced authentic Mexican food! I had the fajita burrito and it was excellent. Als you can’t go wrong with a $6 Long Island iced tea special!

The chef is excellent. The food tastes homemade by a very good cook. No tasteless side dishes. The use of spices is well balanced.
The chocolate and green sauces are wonderful!
The serving staff is very attentive. Service times are very good. Roast beef or roast pork like Sunday dinner.

Amazing!!! Best Mexican food ever had! Combinations you would never think of made into incredible deliciousness!!! Nice big portions for a good price. Wish I lived closer, I would become a regular. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP!

It has been one year since we’ve been to El Toro and the food has changed. It is excellent. The service is excellent and they have clearly listened to their customer base. I would highly recommend this restaurant now.

Great place, I ate a lot and I loved it. I ordered molcajete and my husband chose mix of fajitas. Everything was delicious good taste. Nice service and everything clean and taking precautions about the virus.

Same great food and service, just a new name. We’ve never been disappointed at El Toro (formerly Mi Zarape). If you love Mexican, it’s a must stop. If you love burritos, pineapple and shrimp, get the Guadalajara! Yum!!

The amount of food they serve you is ridiculous!! 💛 I ordered Molcajete. It’s like fajitas in a bowl. AMAZING!! I couldn’t stop eating! I’ll have leftovers for days.
They also have a food truck we hit up at the Taco Fest in Royal Oak. Just as good and the tacos are over stuffed with goodness. Same amazing taste!! Can’t wait to go back.

Food was delicious , took a bit longer to get our dessert than we would have liked, but it was deep fried😊

Best mexican food around for the best price. Seriously go there, way better than anything else in howell or hartland. Keep them alive. Little bit of a launge barrier some times but they always get it right no matter what.

I stopped in for an early lunch at 11:00 and I was the only one there the entire time. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed my experience. Great service and good food, what else could you ask for?

I love this place. Friendly and professional staff, excellent food and great prices. The chile relleno is exactly how I like it and only $7 for this plate.

The waiter was very nice and on top of everything! Our food tasted great and was ready in no time! Also they have great chips and salsa!

Great Mexican food! Service is fast and place was clean. Wait staff constantly checks to makes sure you don't need anything else. I love to munch on the chips and salsa while we wait for our food. They have hot sauces on the side to spice it up if you need. I love the fajitas here! They include a side of refried beans, lettuce,, etc.. just look at the picture.. They also have different flavors of Mexican pop. I tried the pineapple. It was good.

We usually take out and it's always wonderful as well. This time we dined in. My brother was visiting from Chicago and even he loved the food (he's quite the skeptic). Our waiter was great, the atmosphere was great. We went later in the evening so good came faster then it usually does. The wait is usually the worst part, but they make up for it with delicious food! Always worth it!
