Brighton Bar & Grill

When I hear a restaurant’s name include the words, “bar and grill”, I don’t have high expectations. However, this place was incredible! The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve ordered it at dozens of places. The steak tips appetizer was delicious, but a rather small portion. Salmon was beautifully cooked, and all the other food by our group was wonderful. We also experienced great service from the staff.

My wife and I eat here enough to know that the food and service is consistently solid. We’ve never had a bad meal. Its nice because they seem to have a more family friendly side as well as a quieter and more intimate side to the restaurant.
Tonight Melissa was helping us and she was fantastic! She paired a wine for dinner that was prefect and was always around but not intrusive. A great night.

Best restaurant ever! The hostess and waitress went above and beyond to make sure my friend and our two infants were comfortable and well taken care of. They were both so sweet and attentive. The food came out fast and was delicious. The kids meals were wonderful, too. They even boxed our food up for us afterwards. I can't say enough positive things about our experience here. Thanks for a wonderful lunch!

First time to Brighton Bar and Grill, and it won't be the last. We had an outstanding meal with outstanding service from Natalie. Loved the blackened Salmon salad, as the salmon was perfectly cooked and it accompanied a fantastic salad. Another highlight was the calamari, which was PERFECTLY cooked...I will come back for that alone. Many thanks, especially to Natalie, for making our dinner special!!

We took a large group of out of town family there the night before my daughter's wedding. The service was above and beyond even when I messed up the count of the number of people in our party. The food was absolutely fantastic. They spent time congratulating the happy couple and taking great care of the whole party. We will definitely be back!

This was a great recommendation. Much nicer than anything I'd expect based on the name! Food was delicious and more than ample portions. Solid wine selection. All priced appropriately. Some sound deadening upstairs would improve the atmosphere (tough to hear each other). My server was less attentive than I prefer, but not bad.

Stopped on a whim going back to Grand Rapids and what a nice surprise.Forst impression was sour as we were there 10 minutes before opening. Hostesswas young and did not know how to react. A smile goes a long way!Manager/owner was on it though.
We sat at the bar and something as simple as my hamburger was spot on. From the bun that stayed intact to the kindly sliced red onion and a perfect looking burger. Taste spot on. NOT an over built burger for show just perfect.
My wife had Thai peanut sauce infused wrap that was superb.Wrap of Khan.
Audrey was spot on as a server as well.
Not many places I would go back to that far from home but will make it a point to on my next Journey to Detroit to stop.
Dining is about the food and the experience and they were spot on.
Super cute and super clean.
Nice to visit a place where the owner has not gotten complacent.

We walked into this classy popular place, where we felt the warmest welcome as we were seated promptly. Our server was delightful and efficient. We immediately felt the atmosphere of liveliness, appreciating the decor of lovely paintings. We both smashed our sandwiches, mine being the special - a scrumptious Italian crab cake sandwich. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the brie caprese sandwich. Our crispy homemade potato chips were full of flavor. We totally enjoyed our experience.

Fancy! And I mean that as a high compliment! When I heard the name I thought it was going to be a shot and a beer kinda place, but it wasn’t. Nice tables with pleasant and professional servers and fantastic food! Although you can get beer and probably shots too, you may want to put on some nicer clothes and take your sweetie there! I think my favorite thing was how the staff was both friendly and professional at the same time and I really appreciate it!

I can confidently guarantee that this place is undoubtedly the best for Gumbo I've ever had in Michigan. Additionally, I highly recommend the Roasted Garlic Bread Platter. While the main dish was average, the exceptional service and atmosphere made it the highlight of the day

This is great little restaurant. Excellent food and the prices haven't sky rocketed like most other restaurants. Unique dishes done very well. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Worth the trip.

I’ve lived in Brighton for years and have never had the opportunity to come in to eat. Today my friend and I wanted to try something new for lunch. I was shocked by how big it was inside and how elegant it looked.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and immediately saw a familiar face, Candice. We were able to chat for a moment and she was very wonderful!

Kelly was our server and was very attentive but also recognized my friend and I must have not visited with each in awhile so she also gave us space ☺

I ordered the wrap of khan which was almost like an Asian inspired burrito. It was so delicious!! The cilantro sour cream it came with paired perfectly with it! I will 100% be coming back!

This is a come as you are, stay as long as you like, type of restaurant.
The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu and did mention that the menu is two sided with a great selection of foods.
And the portions are very generous.
I was there for lunch and am so looking forward to stopping by for dinner.

The best dining experience I've had in years. We were seated immediately at time of our reservation. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing! So flavorful! Can't wait for the owner's new restaurant to open in New Hudson!

I have eaten this restaurant several times. The food is always delicious and fresh! Also, all the staff are very friendly and efficient! I live slightly over 20 miles from Brighton but it is well worth the drive to enjoy an amazing meal!

We stopped by for one drink and ended up staying for two drinks plus some delicious carrot cake! The service was great, very knowledgeable bartenders. Atmosphere was fun, some quiet dining areas as well as an active bar so you can pick what works for you. Will be returning!

It was our first visit here but it won't be our last. Group of 12 which included 2 babies. The server was fantastic, the food was amazing, and there was no issue with the little ones chattering. There was white paper over the tablecloth which was great for the kids to color on. We will be back.

We eat here often, food is consistently excellent! We had another great meal last Friday evening. Our favorite waitress, Mickey, always remembers us and our drink and food preferences. The lamb chops are outstanding, the filet is perfectly prepared, and they always have specials. Looking forward to our next meal.
