Alexander's Steakhouse

Wow this place is an experience for sure. Mac and cheese was super tasty and creative. My T-bone steak was off the charts delicious but the pumpkin cheese they had took the win. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Love the service. Group of us came and ordered. Corkage was 50 per bottle for 1st 2 bottles and then 100 there after.

Oysters felt a little steep but the steak was awesome. Had the aged porterhouse and wet aged ribeye which was perfect.

Winelist was great and had the Far Niente dolce for dessert.

Fantastic chefs tasting menu with top notch wine pairings and excellent service. Pricey but highly recommended!

I've since gone back for their 5 to 7pm happy hour, great food and drinks for a fraction of their dinner price. Both their dinner menu and hh menu are excellent!

We had the best anniversary dinner. Everything was beautifully plated. Amazing presentation and so so so good! You really get what you pay for. My partner and I both got Chef’s Tasting which comes with 8 courses. We also ordered a few drinks on the side which were very good and also had a beautiful presentation.

The servers were extremely attentive. They saw me struggling to take a selfie with my partner and immediately came to the rescue and got us some amazing photos at the table.

We are genuinely in awe of the service, the food and the drinks. We also received a to go box (1each) of a small snack to take home that includes a small jar of butter and jam and a tea bag. The experience does not end until you are home.

Thank you to the servers and to the chef for an amazing, unforgettable experience. It was definitely worth the price.

We had a great experience with Albert as our server Friday evening. All the flavors were wonderfully paired, the menu had just the right amount of options without feeling overwhelming. This is definitely a place to go treat yourself, it can be considered pricey if you're not used to fine dining like this.
My husband and I enjoyed an Porterhouse Steak together, a side of truffle mashed potatoes (so good! A must have!) as well as a side of the asparagus. We had escargot as our appetizer, and the S'mores dessert!

Amazing food, very curated and exceptional presentation and flavor. Amazing wine and cocktail selections! Do try the wine pairings if you get the chefs tasting menu - the Sommelier is very knowledgeable. Special shout out to our lovely waiter Alessandro. Even in training, he provided excellent service - very proficient in his knowledge and really made our night! The manager was also very attentive and welcoming. All around a stellar experience. 10/10 will come back.

Luxurious evening, for sure! Nice steak options to pick from. Nice thick cuts. Well seasoned. Excellent sears. Consistent quality. Aged meats are well prepared here, flavours are enhanced well to accentuate the richer body of flavour. Good standard sides. Good portion for sharing. Good sauces.

Love this place. Food is awesome and service is amazing. I took my wife here for her Birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We ordered the hamachi shots and had some courses and steaks / prime rib. Everything was prepared perfectly. Social Distance made all of our dining experiences more intimate and private; we felt much more special and eating indoors. All wait staff were in masks and were so gracious to us. Will be back!!

We had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. The sea bass was cooked perfectly soft and tender. Also porterhouse steak was super flavorful and juicy. They also gave us free dessert for the anniversary. Amazing service and great staffs. Will come again definitely.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, the service was incredible and above and beyond my expectations. My cousins took me here because I was visiting out of town and wanted to celebrate. The chef created this menu with such detail and creativity. From the little details such as the Wagyu butter to the different salts for the steaks from all overthe world, created an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Best date night ever!!! From our host Patrick, to the food, and ambiance. Everything was spectacular!!! I will be coming back again! We ordered the most buttery steak ever that melted in our mouths and the best ribeye ever! The quality, the flavors, the way the food was presented was exceptional. Very modern open architectural design. They have a cocktail area in front and the main dining on the main floor and upstairs. The wine selection is extensive as well. I’ve dined here for prime rib, Wagyu, and their annual Wagyu A5 prefix dinner. Always an enjoyable experience here.

Premium dinning experience, this is a great place for celebrations and special occasions. I enjoyed the sub-$100 ribeye (amazingly flavored) more than the $200 wagyu, so definetly get that if you've had wagyu in the past!

Ordered several Wagyu A5 beef, it was fun to compare each one. Each food has its own uniqueness. Service was good and they will partially answer questions of food (like how to buy fresh wasabi in the Bay Area.)

The Hamachi shot my dinner companion had was mind blowing he said!

The complimentary amuse bouche at the start of the meal is an unexpected explosion of flavors.

The ribeye and filet were pitch perfect and done exactly as asked. The ribeye with bone marrow on the side was juicy and tasty.

The complimentary dessert of chocolate and a blueberry cotton candy was a perfect ending.

The service was discrete, anticipatory and never intrusive.

Fantastic service. The plates came and went with such efficiency and the staff were attentive and fun to talk with. Loved the food, the wagyu butter was to die for. Please just give me a tub of that. It was pricey, but totally worth the special occasion.

Celebrated an anniversary at Alexander's Steakhouse last week 6/24/21 and it was spectacular!

We originally had reservations elsewhere, but I totally miscalculated the time it would take to get to downtown. I thought we had enough time but we ended up missing our dinner reservations. Frantically calling all the steak places I could find in San Francisco, we were really lucky to get reservations at Alexander's day of for 6:15pm. They were so accommodating in ensuring are food orders would quickly come out from the kitchen, because we had a hard out at 7:40 p.m. to make our Van Gogh exhibit at 8 p.m. This was the fastest high-end eating experience I've ever had, and it was nothing short perfection.

We came here for Wagyu steak, and ended up going all out. We were definitely not disappointed! We started with the Hamachi shots, and then had the A5 wagyu tartare, indulged in the caviar service (which by the way is an incredible experience and very very good), moved on to the seared scallop with corn puree, and ended with our Wagyu steak and black truffle mashed potatoes.

The seared scallop, A5 wagyu tartare, and the caviar service we're by far our favorite and would love to indulge in those again.

Wonderful experience. We did the chef tasting with the wine pairing. The food was a great mixture of quality seafood and premier wagyu beef. If in town make this a stop!

First and foremost, this place is not cheap. With that being said, the food is to die for! Everything tastes like it's worth the price, so I can't argue too much. Would definitely go again, but only for special occasions
