Super clean, super nice and very helpful nice staff! I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the Safeway. It’s across from the train station and down the street from the Oracle Park. They have everything you need, so if you’re staying around the area so you can watch a baseball game or you’re just in the city this is a great spot to come get your groceries. I felt very safe and secure here with my daughter.

This Safeway has a good selection of products and an extremely helpful staff. There is a parking garage in the building, The Beacon, with 90 minutes of free parking with validation. Be aware that this store is near the ballpark and can get slammed on game days. Plan accordingly.

Amazing location for Safeway! The bakery staff are very friendly and they welcome you with a bright smile. Muni and Cal Trans stations are close by, which makes it perfect for commuters. Great shopping experience.

Great prices and conveniently located across from CalTrain if you wanna grab a beer for your train ride!

Also gave me a form for my takeout food. Just nice people 👍

Well kept well-managed friendly and polite convenient and not crowded. Acception and costumer service and ethical when it comes to costomer and consumer relations. No I'm not sure the other safe ways but this one gets five stars from me thanks.

Neighborhood shopping experience, well stocked, friendly efficient staff, clean. It can get crowded but it's usually pretty smooth shopping.

My visit to this Safeway was mostly awesome. They had what I wanted for dry goods. And the people behind the sushi counter made a special order for me as well and that was at a decent price. The other cool thing about this location is the pharmacy inside this Safeway is offering all three kinds of covid-19 vaccine types. Pfizer, moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Vaccine is given on a specific day. So you have to schedule your vaccination in advance.

The one black spot was the security guard standing at the front of the store. The security guard was totally addicted to chewing tobacco. When I entered the store and when I exited the store both times he was standing at the front of the store spitting in his cup with his mask off. No mask would be one thing. But spitting in his cup while holding the cup over some of the food goods stacked at the front of the store was just gross. And in any case that security guard should have been chewing his tobacco on break time. Not during work. His spitting action, and there was more than one spitting action each time I passed them, had surely contributed to his being distracted and not performing the security job for which he was hired. In case you're wondering this guy was working on Sunday, May 30th 2021 in the morning around 09:54 a.m. I wonder what his employers have to say about his chewing tobacco while working. Doesn't look good for the security company. Doesn't look good for Safeway and Albertsons. And certainly doesn't look good for the security guard.

Somewhat small Safeway with a bit of a weird layout.
Great for ducking in before hopping on or off the Caltrain.
Really friendly staff - maybe it was the Giants game, but everyone in the store seemed friendly.

The staff at this location seem to have something that other locations lack…nice people. The deli was extra clean, well stocked and even though they were closing soon the woman that helped me seemed so happy to do so. Store is small but well

This is the only Safeway located near the FiDi/SoMa/Mission Bay districts that actually stays open until 12AM every day! Recently, the official listings for almost every Safeway in The City were updated to show a closing time of midnight, however, I've been to two locations that still closed at either 11PM or 9PM, regardless of the change of hours on Google Maps.

For this, the King St location gets a perfect 5/5.

Nice. Everything was easy to find. Big selection. The store is well lit but not blinding,making it easy to read the aile signs. More up scale items to choose from,such as fresh flowers, gourmet cheeses, classy dressings salads, for platters,Salami,Gauda, cheeses of all sort. Very clean and may be a little maze like but well organized mapped store. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

The grocery employee took my daughter and myself to where we could catch a Uber Van that had room enough to hold our groceries almost 500.00 worth and helped us with the carts and bagging it so we could deal with it and our walkers. Fantastic experience and he refused a tip, God bless him.

It is a large, relatively new store. So it looks relatively fresh. There is a good selection of products, underground validated parking, many cashier stations, so the line is usually not bad.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting this store. My experience was made excellent by one of your staff members called Santiago. He went above and beyond to help me with my services and had a smile on his face the entire time. He took extra care and attention with me that I have never experienced in any other store. Santiago will be the reason that I keep coming back to this store. His presence truly brightened my day. Thank you for the introduction to Bourbon Santiago, it is perfect to my taste!

Very busy and crowded, however, it doesn't take very long to get in and out. The Security staff is very professional and courteous which helps a lot with shopping. Store is following covid protocols and is much cleaner inside and out compared to the Safeway store on Market. I did self checkout and a staff member cleaned right away, more than I can say for the self-checkout grumps at Market!

Great South Beach grocery option. They have everything you need and more than you were expecting. Lots of grab and go options, sushi, hot food, deli counter, and even a pharmacy. Plenty of fresh produce and natural foods options too. Checkout lines are a bit slow on a busy evening so plan ahead. Don't forget to validate your parking at checkout.

Excellent customer service. 2 members of staff helped sort access to ‘member’ prices (not straight forward if from outside the US). Saved $50+ on next shop on total cost of $160!

Reasonably priced if you have a membership. Great for takeout food too. Love the sushi counter. Love their value packs for meat too if I don't not want to buy in too much bulk from Costco.
Happy that they stock Asian seasonings too at their Japan town outlet.

This is my first time at this location, very nice, cashier very polite, amigable and professional. Place really clean. Love it
