Cottage Market & Corner Store

I had an exceptional experience at this market shop during my trip to San Francisco last summer in September 2023. The man who runs the shop went out of his way to help me when I had a problem with my credit card and no cash (dollars) on hand. Not only did he make several calls to money exchange stores to see if they were open despite it being a public holiday, but his wife also joined in to help us. As if that wasn't enough, the man even gave me 3 dollars so that I could dry my wet clothes at the laundry place in front of his shop. This small gesture made a huge difference and I am grateful for their hospitality.

I am visiting SF and had visited this store to buy water.. the shop owner is incredibly polite and helpful... I am staying in a hotel up the street of the store.. everyday I pass by this store and buy my stuff from it.. and have very friendly chat with the owner

One of the most genuine store owners in the city , been here for a couple of days and everytime I entered the store to grab something the owner would greet me with a smile , helped guide me through the city aswell, would definitely recommend going there to meet the owner himself and buy a thing or two

This store is still located across from my former apt. bldg.....my apt. bldg. at 797 Bush st/Mason sts.....where I resided for 14 yrs...but now live in the desert for 26 yrs.

die sandwiches und getränke-dosen sind nicht mit dem jeweiligen preis ausgewiesen. man hat keine kontrolle darüber, was an der kasse betrchnet werden wird. klar, man kann den kauf dann an der kasse ablehnen. oder besser gleich zu bush-market nebenan gehen (über die straße): alle waren haben dort ein preisschild.

Both a Starbucks frappucino and three of the gallon sized crystal geyser water. He charged me $15.95. Seriously. I saw the charge on the water and it was more than $11 for 3 of the gallon-sized crystal geyser. Go to the 711 on Sutter or to Bush Market right across this store on bush and mason. The Korean lady there and their prices are better.

Stay clear of this mean owner! Just arrived in SF for a conference and walked down the hill from my hotel to grab some Diet Coke, gum, and a local beer and I was accosted by the owner while I was checking the dates on the IPAs for freshness. He treated me like I was trying to shoplift or something. So offensive. Great to see how SF treats its out-of-state visitors. Get your local groceries from somewhere else!

I was about to go in to buy some beers when I saw a woman in the middle of the store chatting with a guy, not wearing a mask at all. Turned back and went into another liquor store on the next block. Why would I spend my money in a place that doesn't care about my safety when there are so many other options around?
