This hospital is one of the best. I fully support SPCA. They show me they have true animal love! They are not money hungry. I have never been in a situation where I had to pay first for my pet to get treated. They have always taken her in and gave her treatment with care and love, and then I went to pay my dues. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I can honestly say if it is SFSPCA I feel like my "Dory" is in good hands! Thank you to all the staff and I really wish this can be a 24 hospital because it beats everything else in my opinion. God bless you all and thank you for always taking care of my Dory she loves you all!

I’ve stopped going the vet— this place is so much better. They do the vaccines with you in the room and my dog was much more mellow about it. They don’t push unnecessary vaccines and they respect your choices. Pharmacy on site which makes everything easier. The vets and nurses all seem to really love animals, which is surprisingly hard to find these days.

Felt like yesterday, but going on 5 months with our lil’ pup now. The love we give each other is priceless. Can’t imagine life without him!

Everyone at the SPCA clinic has been very helpful, super knowledgeable and supportive always trying to help in what they can no matter what department. Even when my family had to take my pup they were extremely satisfied with the service they received. Also I never feel rushed. They take their time getting to know you and your animal.

2021: I adopted my kitten (see photos of her here) here in December, 2013. She had an ailment that the vet. here took care of well. She's been a wonderful pet! Always get your pets at adoption centers like the SFSPCA. Save a life or 2. 3/5/24: They treated my cat 🐈 with compassion. The place was clean. The staff were professional.

The hospital staff were accommodating, knowledgable, and provided excellent care for my kittens. The online appointment scheduling system was easy to navigate, and the checkout process was smooth. The veterinarian and hospital staff made sure I got all my questions answered and didn't rush me. Parking is easy - they have a lot and they have lots of street parking available.

SF SPCA had been the vet of our little Shiba for almost 2 years and they are just awesome.
The staff is super careful and pay attention to your pets.
The health of your pet comes first. Last time we went they spent an hour to make sure our dog was fear free to get her shots.
Price is also to be considered, they are way less expensive than other vet which can’t be as trusted as SF SPCA.
If you’re looking for a vet, do not hesitate.

We took our very sick dog here for emergency care. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff we interacted with did everything they could to get us seen quickly. After several messy accidents in the examination room, even getting all over the pants and arm of one of the vet techs, they all were incredibly compassionate and professional, so much so that it literally brought tears to my eyes. If you’ve experienced terrible care from a vet clinic before, you know it’s heartbreaking to see your pet ignored or treated poorly. This was such a relief to see our dog treated lovingly as if it were one of their own. I hope they treat the staff well enough to keep them.

Super helpful and informative staff! And I love that they have a cat lounge, it’s even equipped with towels for covering the carrier. The technicians and the vets are really top notch and have taken such good care of my cat, both during regular appointments and urgent care appointments.

We love the SFSPCA! Everyone we have ever encountered there over the years has been so caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have seen us through the tough time of losing a little kitty, helping us make sure our other kitten grew up strong and healthy and eventually welcoming home our newest addition…I always leave SFSPCA vet appointments feeling heard and understood and with a thorough understanding of what went on in the vet appointment as well as what care is needed moving forward.

I completed the vaccination round of my puppy here few months ago. Recently, needed to do a checkup, the vet was very helpful, gave me the picture of the situation and guidance how to proceed. The adm and front desk team are always friendly.

We worked with Dr. Munoz at SF SPCA to help with our dog's intense fear of strangers in the environment. We have zero complaints about Dr. Munoz as she demonstrated warmth, compassion, and expertise in treating our dog and educating us on the different options for success. We've seen improvements in Finn and now know it's possible to increase his quality of life.

I have a fearful and nervous rescue dog. He’s been with me for three months but was adopted as an adult. The SFSPCA has been so kind and patient when caring for my dog. I can’t thank them enough!

If your dog has behavioral problems, dr Munoz is a god-send. She’s moving to another hospital and I hope they have equivalent staff to fill her shoes. Facilities and vet techs are also amazing.
