Valley Family Dentistry

We have gone to Valley Family Dentistry for years. Always the best service. The dental hygienist are great with kids, especially those with some anxiety. They are patient and make sure my children have the best experience. Ask for Donna or Kelly if you or your child has any anxiety. They are amazing.

I have always enjoyed going to this dental practice and seeing Dr. Lynch. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel at ease. Dr. Lynch is very patient and informative when discussing my issues. I've been out of state for 10 years but happy to be back.

I have been a patient here since I was a child, and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The entire team is kind, honest, and professional. Having lived in a few other cities and experienced different dental providers over the years, I can certainly attest that the quality of care provided by Valley Family Dentistry is top tier. I'd give them six stars if I could!

Kelly did my teeth cleaning and was very thorough in explaining how I can better clean my teeth and introduced a water pick. I actually love this because sometimes I dread going to the dentist because the flossing can hurt. However, this visit was great. No pain with the new water pick tool and very clean teeth as always! I definitely recommend Valley Family Dentistry to friends and family. (All my family goes here as well)

Kelly was very thorough, taking time beyond the scope of a normal cleaning to make note of concerns and compare data from previous visits. I also really appreciate how gentle she was around my gum line.

Dr. Farr is always a comforting balance of direct and personable; she takes care to listen and address any questions/concerns without exuding that “time is money” - “I’ve got other places to be” feeling I get with so many other doctors.

My appointment with Dr. Farr was excellent. Donna was my hygienist and, as usual, she did a great job. Dr. Farr was very kind, extremely professional and thorough with her examination. There was very little wait time and I so appreciate that!

I had a new hygienist today. She used a hydrosonic tool to clean an area of my teeth where tartar builds up. It was much more pleasant than the scraping that I have had in the past. I have been going here for years and have been pleased. The office is great on reminding people of their appointments and you can do paperwork online before you go.

Great experience! Have gone there for decades and have always been pleased! But now, a new crew has come in due to retirements! Dr. Wheelock took time to answer several questions and was very kind, patient and compassionate as was Candace, my hygienist who did an amazing job causing no pain and no anxiety issues. (I'm not a fan of dental procedures.) 😁 All staff members there do an excellent job, though, from the front office to the dental chair!

They do a great job of taking care of their clients. They are relatively painless. They tell you exactly what you need and how much it's going to cost.. The staff is very friendly and professional

Dr. Lynch took his time and was extremely gentle when pulling my niece's tooth. The staff was amazingly helpful with giving directions and making my family feel welcome as well. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

I have been a patient for 35 years and Donna is simply the best dental hygienist ever. She has cleaned my teeth twice a year equaling 70 times. She is an asset to your office.

I was referred to this dentist through Carilion because I needed one ASAP due to no one taking new patients. I was pleasantly surprised with Valley Family Dentistry. The hygienist was super nice and I was shocked at how involved Dr. Wheelock was. The last dentist I went to I think I only saw the actual dentist for 1 minute. Dr. Wheelock is awesome! Worth the drive from Giles to Roanoke 100%.

Welcome from Susan at front desk. No wait time. Love the hygienist and Dr Farr, they listen carefully to me and provide follow up with care and explanation. I still miss Dr Dickey though.

Very organized. All are polite and courteous. Savannah was very meticulous cleaning my teeth and Dr Farr was complete with her examination. I have been a patient here for over 40 years. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

It had been awhile since I'd been to the dentist, but the staff at VFD made me feel comfortable and at ease. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience better than I could have hoped.

Usually quick and kind. I really like my hygienist who is gentle but does a good job. I haven't had any issues since choosing this as my dentist upon moving to Roanoke

These people are awesome!! It only took Dr. Wheelock maybe an hour tops, to repair a filling that had fallen out because the previous dentist that originally did it, didn't do it right apparently. You can't even tell there's a filling there now!

The staff was very friendly and helped me not be too nervous about getting a tooth pulled. I would highly recommend them for all of your dentist needs, because they will treat you like family.
