Angelle's Diner

It is rare to find a perfect restaurant. Somewhere that the everything is prepared to a level of excellence unmatched for its genre. I love a good diner and have found many across this country of ours. But few are as perfect as this one. That may have just been the best omelette I’ve ever eaten. The friendliest staff is the proverbial cherry on the top.

The food was great Shot out to the Chef. I got a medium well mushroom Swiss burger and it was juicy and crinkle cut fires was fresh. The service was A1. I normally don’t tip big but he deserved it. The atmosphere was nice I sat outside good weather plenty of seating and the server didn’t forget about me out there. I love refills on my drink and he came back multiple times without me even asking. Plus they take Apple Pay! Highly recommend for locals visitors and truck drivers.

Had their special "Bacon Jam Cheddar Burger" and while (anyone who knows me knows) I don't like onions ... it was delicious. Burger was cooked to order (well, not burnt). Fries were hot and crisp. Coleslaw was mixed perfectly (not too much of any individual ingredient) and, the service was as warming as their sweet tea.
If you live near or are traveling through Troutville, VA (I 81 exit 150) you should take the extra hour and try them out!

This place is the absolute best! I venture in every time I’m in town. The servers are amazing, the food is fantastic, and you’re family as soon as you walk in the door. I recommend this place to all my traveling friends. Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner! Go when they are open!

My husband had the chili and a baked potato. I had their BBQ plate with pulled pork and brisket. Cole slaw was so good, not to mention the brisket n pulled pork. We'd come here more often if we didn't live 1375 miles away!

And, my second visit yesterday was just a great, if not better. This is a must experience.

And, my third visit last week was fantastic with meat lovers omelette and great service. You can park your box trucks on the road in front.

So happy I walked in! "Hello" and "Welcome" before fully entering! I almost teared up ... Sat at Counter, and Noticed how Sharp this place looks inside! The Pork and Beef was Outstanding! The Cheese Cake is Wow! Had a fun time Chatting with Staff, since I'm a Tourist. Each Employee seemed Happy and Blessed to work at Angelle's Diner, each member, lots of character. A+ Folks! The serving staff was friendly and the kitchen was incredibly quick for a Sunday morning. Our group sampled the waffles and biscuits+gravy platter, and there was satisfaction all around! I would definitely return to this diner next time I am passing through town.

Nice little spot just off 81 amongst some other chain type food and other businesses. You may miss the turn, I did. Support local. Good menu, including a traditional Benedict and a special avocado Benedict. And, they provided the steak knife without being asked, which is clutch for cutting Benedicts. Coffee was filled regularly. Servers were cross-covering tables, which is a good thing.

Whitney was our waitress and did an excellent job taking care of us. The food was good, Whitney brewed fresh coffee for me and the food was great, too. Our first visit, but not our last! Thanks, Angelle's.

My family and I went to Angelle’s today. Before we even got out of the vehicle, we saw the staff helping an elderly customer out to their vehicle👏🏻! At that point the bar was set high and they did not disappoint. Parking lot was clean, outside of the building looked good, inside was clean, has good appearance and bathrooms were clean. Staff were friendly as we entered. Service was great, waitress was very nice and attentive. We thought the background music was great. The food was very good for all of us. Pricing was appropriate for the items listed.

After a long 12 hour day of driving and only eating snacks in our vehicle we arrived in Roanoke Va. The lovely check-in lady at the Hampton Inn suggested we go to Angells for supper, but they would be closing at 9pm. We rushed down to the restaurant and arrived at 9:05. The manager said, “come on in and we’ll see if the cook will make you a takeout meal.”He did and it was amazing! Good down home cooking, served with kindness. We highly recommend Angelle’s Diner! Thank you!

I went for the first time last night and I must say I really enjoyed it. The staff was beyond great and the food was also. I would refer anyone that asked about it. Thank you for the great food and service.

Everything was great! Coming from Philly driving to TN; this place was on route and rated high. It is rated good due to the team and Brandon who provided hospitable service. The burgers are incredible at this location.

We had a delicious meal as we were passing through Troutville. Service was excellent and the food was equally good. Not much to look at but don’t let that fool you. Very friendly and comfortable feeling. We took a chance and it paid off!

I don't have a picture of our food but it was definitely very delicious. Food aren't greasy and salty so bravo for that. Overall it was a great experience trying this diner 🥰🥰🥰 We would definitely come back.
