Earth Fare

Moved from Richmond to Roanoke area. I was looking for something like Whole Foods replacement Smaller version, but great place for produce, bulk items , organic products. Bread is good, hot bar is good as well As a bonus there is free electric car charging nearby so I can top off my battery.

Shopping at EarthFare is, for me, a true luxury, reserved for special needs or cravings throughout the year. It goes without saying that you can find fabulous produce, meats (wow!), and bakery items here, as well as a top-rated catering service. If I need to prepare a Vegan meal, this is where I head, as they endeavor to have a well-stocked vegetarian/vegan inventory of ingredients. If you are like me, shopping vegan is much like speaking Mandarin: I can't and I know very little about it! No worries shopping here, however, as a knowledgeable staff member is happy to help you find an item, OR stay with you through your entire ingedient list. (Everyone working here is super nice and helpful.)
When beets are in season, I have to make a trip: 2 - 1lb beets cooked in the pressure cooker keep my blood oxygen happy for a week!
If you have never been, do stop in and try something from their fresh juice bar to complement something else you pick out to try - pastries, sandwiches, soups, desserts, etc. will have you drooling in no time!

Earth Fare is such a blessing to those with food allergies and health issues. They have such a huge selection of healthy and allergen safe food, vegan, and gluten-free options. The sushi chef is so helpful and makes the best sushi. I don't mind paying a bit more for better quality foods that I know are safe for me.

Great store for your organic/natural food items or beauty products!

This grocery store has a wonderful bakery. There is also a kitchen that provides terrific deli dishes and salads as well as soups and hot prepared foods. You can even get fresh pizzas and refreshing smoothies. The sushi there is better than any other grocery store I have shopped at.

Great place! I was visiting from out of town and I'm so glad I found this place. I was able to find fresh, organic fruit and vegetables. They also have a hot food bar. Prices were reasonable.

While you will pay top dollar for healthy food it is so worth it!
They even have Healthy Pet Food here!
Was able to pick up a quick lunch at the food bar and the pizza was delicious and only$4 for two slices!

Beautiful store and prices are very reasonable. Their fresh made pizza is amazing, call ahead and place your order. See phone number on picture below. Couldn't find this number on their site anywhere.

I acknowledge my gratitude for the wellness department handling my phone query and connecting me to a food source I’ve come to rely upon. That this grocery also staffs with such excellent people is worth noting. I met a stunning and intelligent woman named Susan who helped me on my way. Who doesn’t love a grocer? This place is certainly an anchor of the community. Still reeling.

Great selection of healthy foods with bakery, juice bar, indoor and outdoor eating areas, and pizza. But like most such places you'll pay a big premium for healthy eating.

I love this place!! I have been a #1 Customer of theirs since the first time they opened. The employees here are ALWAYS very kind and helpful. They are always very Intuitive to my needs. From the multiple greating through out the store, to asking if "i need help?", or asking if "i found everything ok?" at the register. The store is very clean,well stocked and neat. They also have a wonderful selection of fresh Produce and they have many great options of natural and alternative products. They also have a Delicious Lobster bisque soup that is to die for!!! I especially like the fact that they require masks and wear masks and take the proper precautions like having sanitary wipes available. I feel safe to bring my children here and shop with ease. I will definitely continue to shop here weekly and I give this place high recommendation's. keep up the good work guys!!

Great store for organic, healthy, and small brand items; one stop shop for all of those needs. Also, Hot Bar was delicious. For the area, definitely a must if you are looking for specialty products. If you are familiar with Sprouts, it will feel similar. Not for the budget conscious shopper though, but you will not feel you are getting gouged either.

The takeout food is good reasonably priced.

Huge selection! Great employees. Lots of friendly faces and help! Great allergy sections and mostly comparable prices to higher price stores from other areas (Trader Joe's and Whole Foods). Unbelievable natural health area! I can't wait until we get these in Virginia Beach!

Great location. Prices on some items are a deal, some are not. My first experience at the store was great, had friendly service too. I'm glad they have an Earth Fare store here in Roanoke VA, we needed one. They also have hot food items as well as cold food items such as a salad bar, and a take out menu is also available.

I am so happy that this grocery store came to Roanoke. I am a vegan although my husband is not and we find everything we need at the store. The food is fresh plus it's interesting and delicious. we've been very satisfied with everything. It's great to know that the things were eating here are free of antibiotics and pesticides. it's all organic and it's not overpriced.

Deli is amazing! Good prices on cooked foods. Some of the other items were pricey but that due to them being organic or so. I like the fact that their products are free of many harmful ingredients. I enjoy stopping by here when I can.

Some things can be a bit pricier than Kroger or other local grocery chains but the quality is just outstanding everything overall is decently priced- For it being very much an organic, holistic and natural food selection grocer I would proudly give this store my every penny. They don't gouge you like whole foods or fresh markets do and they live up to their message and expectation!

We go here quite frequently. For both groceries and the hot and cold bars. My family loves eating here! There are so many foods offered in the grocery store that meet the standards I want for my family. I am so grateful for this store!
