Texas Roadhouse

I had an exceptional dining experience at Texas Roadhouse in Roanoke. Kaylee, our server, went above and beyond, showcasing exceptional professionalism and courtesy throughout our meal. The ribeye steak cooked to a perfect medium temperature was succulent and flavorful, while the herb chicken was a delightful addition to the meal. The Jamaican Cowboy with a Patron kicker was a fantastic drink choice, perfectly complementing the delicious food. Kudos to the staff and Kaylee for making our visit memorable with their top-notch service and fantastic food!

I understand thus is lond but its worth the read because this place DERSERVES EVERY great word it has gotten. To start off with why we visited Texas Roadhouse 100 Bradley Drive NW,
Christiansburg, VA 24073 was for celebration of my son's 14th birthday.
The restaurant is actually a hour and a half from our home but we were going to need to Christmas shop and he picked this restaurant he wanted to go to. His Nannie takes all grandchildren every year for B Day dinners instead of gifts. So anything anywhere which they love more than gifts. He ordered a rare 20 Oz NY strip special cut for the day, loaded mash potatoes, and mushrooms. The steak was exactly and perfectly what was ordered and the sides were as well. Of course 20 Oz was a huge steak for him so he actually only ate maybe 4 Oz because the sides with rolls filled him up. The grandparents only ate salads, I ordered the loaded potato skins, and the wife had a starter grilled shrimp and they all were delicious. The waitress was extremely kind and checked on us several times thoughoyt even tho the restaurant was extremely busy. The manager Frannie made her way to our table to ask how things were and was above and beyond filled with kindness and really seemed to care about her customers and restaurant. She made us aware that the potato skins also came with jalapeños if ordered. I told her I wish I knew because I only ate three and was letting him take them home to eat on the next two days. She actually went and brought a small container to him to take home. The only downside to this night was after shopping for two days and a long trip back home he forgot and left his steak and potato skins on the couch overnight and my wife had to throw them away the next morning. He had gotten so upset because he was looking forward to them that he had gotten tears ( very understandable ). So the second pic of the steak is what was actually brought home and thrown away but he still said it was the best steak ever. Will DEFINITELY visit again.

We went here last night. Our waiter Keith was amazing. He recommended the Hurricane Margarita and it was really good. All of our food tasted amazing and we have no complaints there but we were charged for a watered down fruit punch that I sent back but that’s ok.

was our first visit to Texas Roadhouse and we were impressed. It was really crowded for a Saturday night, but we did the online seating reservation. When you arrive, you send a text and you wait in your car until they text you to come in when your table is ready. I really like the contactless ordering, you just snap the QR code on your phone for the menu. Their tables are spaced apart, which is nice. Our server was great, she kept up with our tea drinking, she kept our tea glasses and bread basket filled. Our steaks came out, everything was so good. We will definitely be back.

I want to thank Lily, the hostess, and Sim, our server, for taking such great care of our party of 9 yesterday (on a very busy Sunday afternoon for the restaurant). We came in after a set of unusually challenging circumstances, and we were all exhausted, thirsty, and very hungry! Even though they couldn’t seat us right away, Lily offered us drinks and bread while we waited, which were SO refreshing and tied over the kids until we got our table. This was especially helpful since our expected 30-minute wait was actually 50 (due to circumstances outside the restaurant’s control). Sim took really great care of us. She was very attentive to every request, kept our drinks refilled, cleared dishes out of the way as we finished with them, and did an overall great job. The food was very good yesterday. All of the steaks were cooked properly, and everything tasted great. I didn’t catch the name of the manager on duty, but I appreciated her help as well and wanted to let her know how much we appreciated her and her staff. Thank you all for helping us relax and get replenished at a very needed time!!!

Attended a birthday dinner had the smothered sauteed chicken with mushrooms and gravy. Chicken was delicious and tender, mashed potatoes and green beans were good, service was excellent. The birthday boy reluctantly saddled up and got the yee haw.

Best place for steaks and drinks in town. 🙌🏼 we love going to texas roadhouse when we want steaks. Even when our steaks aren’t cooked correctly the waiters are happy to fix it quickly without a problem. Every time we go we get good service with a staff member who is in a good mood and happy to help. I’m a picky eater and make “weird” requests but this is the one place i go to and I can request my food as i like it without any problems. The potato skins are the best with their in house ranch 🤩
Drinks are delicious! Alway recommend the kennys cooler. And if you are on a budget get the $5 L.I.T.

It was Christmas Eve and a lot of restaurants were closing early! These guys were crowded and people were continuing to pour in! That did not impact the level of service we received! Our waitress was extremely friendly, she made sure our drinks remained filled and even helped with taking off the bill our gift card amount. Food was EXCELLENT!!

There was a 20-30 minute wait. It was so worth it. I have been to bad TRs before. This one was amazing. My waitress was off the hook excellent. She is the epitome of wait staff perfection. Id go back just for her if the food was mediocre. Beyond impressed.

It is a great place to ear at..The waiter was very polite and attentive. We had a pretty long wait for the food. Due to it was the weekend. But, Overall a great place. We had the Road kill, Smothered Chicken, and also the chicken Critters

The food was beyond amazing and the server was so friendly and wonderful!! Definitely going to look for this chain restaurant next time we're in the States!!

Angie was an amazing server. She kept my drink cup full and the food was amazing. I’m a regular here and the service and food are great. I always get the burger.

It was excellent! Everything tasted scrumptious! Staff was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I wish the fried pickles were cut thicker. I also wish the outdoor seating would wrap around the side of the building overlooking the town below, which would allow for beautiful sunset views! The bread and butter is amazing, Heavenly. Every time I've been to eat there, the staff have been super friendly. The pictures below are of the views from parking area.

First time diners thus evening.
Had 16 oz. sirloin with vegetables and fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, and basically melted in my mouth. Tender and juicy... awesome meal.. great server. Very attentive, and kept our drinks full and checked on us without over doing it... very satisfied.

We had a family member with us that is allergic to beef, dairy, sugar and any animal by products. Manager Kari went above and beyond. I called ahead of time and she has a prepared list waiting. Our server Heather was very helpful and knowledgeable as well.
We will be back.

We got takeout from this location and I was surprised at how well it was packaged! I got a steak salad and they put the steak separate from the salad so it wouldn’t get the salad soggy. My loaded baked potato came with everything separate as well. Food was really good too!

Best fried pickles in Roanoke! Our waitress Shaedyn was the best! The food was absolutely delicious! It was crowded but that is expected on a Friday (we has a 25 min wait). All in all it was a great place for our ladies night/birthday dinner!

The food was excellent! The service was very quick and if they were to get something wrong, they would fix it as fast as possible. Overall I think this place is a wonderful establishment for mostly dinner.

Go their a lot until a couple of weeks ago. It was very busy and there was NO Social distancing at all. When I went in to get our name on the list a guy ahead of me said he had a togo called in. The front girl asked had he paid..... Yes. Then she pointed to a counter full of togo orders and told him to find his order. No gloves on and he just started touching every bag on the counter till he found his and just walked out. The line was long where you order togo with about 6 people in line. All were standing there at the hot roll counter. Server have to step between people to get rolls. We decided to not eat there and left. But we have always received great steaks and service when we go. We will be back but it will be earlier.
