First time at The CoffeeSmith and such a great experience! I had the honey lavender white mocha which was perfectly sweetened and so smooth! The chicken bacon ranch panini was also really good and freshly made. Highly recommend!

The Coffeesmith is an amazing local coffee shop. Their Ron Swanson and Sausage/egg/cheese croissant are THE BEST! The coffee is always really good as well. I generally get the Caramel Mocha, and it's always delicious and consistent. The staff are always friendly, and quick to get your order out.

Starbucks, Scooters, and other soulless corporate coffee shops can't hold a candle to The Coffeesmith! Support Small Business, buy local!

My 2nd visit and I wasn't disappointed!! The Ron Swanson is a super yummy breakfast sandwich, the baristas were super nice and I love the coffee!! I even got an extra shot after deciding i wanted more coffee flavor and the girls were so sweet and accommodating. Will be a return customer & love to support local:)

The quintessential coffee shop experience! It was a great location to meet in West Des Moines. I had a Chai Latte and it was delicious. Spacious, lots of seating, and if I lived in the area I’d definitely spend time working from this spot.

Came for something new, got Rosemary brown sugar latte, very good! Cute and busy place on a Saturday of course.

The Coffeesmith has become my favorite catch up spot with my friends. The lattes have been great! The atmosphere is buzzing, the baristas are busting their a$$ and I’ve always had a friendly interaction. I enjoy supporting this local business!

First time trying this place and it is excellent. I had the Pablo Honey latte and it was the best coffee drink I have had in a while! I asked for it to be a little less sweet and it was perfect. Very subtly sweet with a delicious espresso flavor shining through. I only wish it was closer to Ankeny. Not the most convenient location for me but I'll make a point to go back!

Really good coffee as you would expect from a coffee shop but what was even more amazing was their brown sugar bacon croissant.. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had. The ambiance is typical coffee shop and service is prompt.

This place is fantastic! I ordered the Butter Pecan Latte in house. It was so delicious & their breakfast is tasty. I don't know what sauce they put on their breakfast sandwiches but it's dangerously good! Perfect atmosphere to bring friends & have a great morning.

The Coffesmith is a solid cafe with free wifi and industrial design. There's free wifi - which makes it a good spot for studying and socializing.

Their ice lattes are good and decently priced but their specialty drinks run pretty expensive. Their French Toast muffin was decent as well.

I recommend Coffeesmith but there are some other interesting options in the Des Moines metro.

5 stars for sure. We are about moving to here to live so we decided to try some coffee shop over here. This is the first place we try. Have nothing to complain about this place. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, clean, clear, delicious drinks v.v…

This is a great little coffee shop! The employees are friendly, the prices are reasonable, the environment is cozy, and the drinks are great! Oh, and it's a local place compared to a big chain! Just about everything you could be looking for. I recommend stopping in for the first time or the tenth!

Give the baristas a moment to do their magic and you won't be disappointed. We had a chai latte and a Earl grey latte that we're both outstanding. The place was quiet and relaxing which made for a nice stop on our travels. We didn't get food on this visit but they have a menu to pique your gastronic curiosity.

First time trying this place and it was amazing! The latte art was beyond amazing as well as the food and of course the coffee itself, I will definitely take the 30 minute drive to have this shop in my life 😂 also your employees are very nice and hard workers, they deserve a raise!

Love! This coffee shop has amazing espresso - it’s not too bitter or too sweet. They have many seasonal drinks and flavors, but can make all the basics too. Baristas are friendly. The space is calm and inviting. Chairs are great, for an hour or so. Then you’ll want more comfort 😋

I come here often and have always had a great experience. The coffee is great and they have a great breakfast sandwich. Though, I’ve never had lunch the have a solid looking lunch menu as well.

Best coffee!!! Love the Ron Swanson with extra cheese sauce!!! Just wish you were open on Sunday! There are no good local coffee shops open on Sundays and would love it if you guys were!!!! Recommend this place to everyone!!! Also got the cutest handmade keychain from here!!
