I've been a patient since my teens and continued as a patient even after moving to North Carolina. I genuinely owe these doctors my life. After years of perplexing, ultimately disabling symptoms that my primary care (and even a couple of cardiologists elsewhere) dismissed as stress, depression, and attention-seeking, Iowa Heart listened, validated my struggles as legitimate, and quickly discovering a serious rhythm problem that no amount of prozac was ever going to fix. Within months I had a pacemaker implanted and was finally able to get out of bed and LIVE!

Three pacemakers, a couple ablations, and over 20 years later, I am still a patient and am profoundly grateful for the timely intervention that saved my life. I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for those who have treated me- Dr. Robert Hoyt, Ryan Young, Dr. Dwayne Campbell, Craig Hoffman, Stephanie Kalvig, Dr. Fleming, Dr. Bailin, and others who have moved to other clinics. I would be dead today if not for the attentive care and expertise of Dr. Hoyt, the continued dedication of all of the physicians, assistants, nurses, and staff. My experiences in the EP Rhythm Clinic have been professional, respectful, compassionate, and exceptional in every way. Thank you, Iowa Heart.

My wife was in to see her heart doctor, but when they learned she needed a wet/dry dressing changed, and we were reluctant to do so, they arranged for a vascular nurse to come over to do the dressing. Fantastic service!!!

Excellent cardialogy center

My husband and I would like to thank Melinda, West University Check-in helping to straighten out his schedule. We're in our 70's and sometimes we misunderstand all the texts and calls. Thank you Melinda for your help, understanding and compassion!

I much prefer the surgeons, doctors and nurses here in Des Moines versus Northern Virginia.

Do not get call backs when trying to make appointments. Love my doctor but everything else is average, or normal by todays standards.

Location hard to find

Ihave no idea what you want me to say. Ihave wasted my time spending 45 minutes just trying to put my password in and constantly getting invalid. I am 77 and am upset spending my time on this app. I rarely drive because my car is a 2000. And unreliable and I have been stuck in a strange place more than once when my car shut down including on Christmas!! I have tried to cooperate but I have to get ready to go somewhere and this app has taken more time than I care to waste.

This place is a joke. They have no sense of urgency. My wife wore a heart monitor for 30 days. Two months later, we still don't have the results. The nurses are rude and disrespectful. My wife had heart surgery two years ago. The surgery did nothing to resolve her issues. After multiple appointment visits, we were told, “Obviously, nothing is wrong with you.” We are done, and good riddance!
