Tonno Wakefield

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here! We decided to order lots of the appetizers to have as our main course instead.

We got the shrimp scampi, mussels (my FAV), octopus, and crabcake! We also ordered a side of potatoes (delish) and we would order everything again except for the crabcake. I’m from Maryland, so I like more chunky crabmeat in my crab cakes 🦀.

We also got tiramisu for dessert. Everything was great! I’m sure we will be back again.

Good and service was fantastic. The chicken with Roasted potatoes was hands down the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. A huge portion and no rough pieces at all. Skin was so crispy and delicious. My mother got the bolognese and loved it. 10/10 would definitely give it a try. The price is very reasonable for the quality.

Wonderful Anniversary dinner outside. Food was great. Service was very good as well and the atmosphere is nice and clean. I would definitely go back. The seafood was fresh and expertly prepared. My husband has the veal chop special and it was also great. Excellent spot if you are seeking quality food out side of the Boston maelstrom.

Anthony your ambiance and culinary expertise is beyond insane. The presentation of the Antipasto Board amazing. Cherry Stones & Shrimp fresh again presentation beautiful. Veal Saltimbocca melts in your mouth. Wow just an incredible night with clients. Janna Mazza

Went last night and everything was delicious! We got the octopus appetizer, cioppino, chicken milanese, a dirty martini and white cosmo! Jill, our server was so attentive and friendly!!

The food was excellent and Amanda our waitress was so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks.
There were four of us and we each had a half serving of a Caesar salad which was tasty.
I ordered the swordfish which was excellent and tried the bolognese which was delicious.
We also shared the tiramisu and chocolate cake.
We sat outside since the night was so nice. It was our first time outside.
The restaurant is very beautifully decorated.

Our Saturday night experience at Tonno was nothing short of fantastic. Securing 2 seats at the bar, we were warmly welcomed by the bartender, Andrea, whose infectious smile and amiable demeanor set the tone for the night. Her extensive knowledge of the menu and drinks added a personal touch to our visit.

For appetizers, we indulged in the burrata and tuna tartar, both which were exquisitely prepared and delicious. For main courses, we had the Bolognese and veal parmigiana. Both dishes were exceptional in taste and presentation.

However, what truly made our night remarkable was Andrea's impeccable service. She also treated us to a couple of cannolis that were the perfect way to cap the night.

Another wonderful evening at Tonno! Lovely server Alyssa, she is terrific! We are frequent customers when visiting our family in the Wakefield area. We always order a bottle of La Crema Sonoma Chardonnay. Focaccia is great and the meals always deliver! Thank you for being our go to place!

If you are lucky enough to get yourself a bar seat, you've done quite well. The food is excellent, the service is great, and you can't beat the atmosphere. They also have outdoor seating in the good weather.

I have been here a few times now since they opened. The food has been great every time. Today I came in to try the Sunday brunch. It was delicious. Probably the best steak and eggs I have ever had. I love this place.

Great restaurant. More modern new version of original in Gloucester so less of a drive. Great food. Nice service. Quality drinks.

Food was incredible! Highly reccomend the pork chops and also highly reccomend McKenzie as a server.

We came in again today 2/19/22 and must have great luck because we had McKenzie as a server again. Food was excellent and her service is unmatched. Will be back again for sure.

Great food and great environment

Tonno restaurant has a very relaxing setting, very classy but fun. Parking was pretty full but once I found the restaurant I circled the block a couple times and found a spot just out front. The drink was strong and ice cold. Service was good and the people were friendly. Prices were good for the quality of food. I would recommend taking a first date here. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu the Fillet which was served with fancy roasted greens and the most moist potatoes. The fillet was cooked medium rare and to perfection with the right amount of salt and seasoning. It was probably the best steak I've ever eaten. I was getting full but it was so good I cleared my plate. My compliments to the chef. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be going back for another Fillet!

Delicious food. Unique cocktails. Beautiful decor. Impeccable service. We sat at the bar and Meghan (the bartender) was friendly & efficient. My husband & I told her this was our first time at this restaurant and certainly won't be our last! ;) Even the manager came over to ask how everything was. Now that's a sign of an excellent establishment!

My wife and I sat in the bar area and had a delicious full-course meal. Nicole, our server, recommended the cod with cream sauce. Amazing!
Also, loved the Black Manhattan cocktail as a post-dinner drink.

Food is always amazing. Great homemade pasta! Oysters were fresh. Terrace is nice and comfortable!

Exceptional food and service. My favorite(usual) is the veal saltambocca, but ventured out to the braised short rib. Probably the best I've ever had. My partner wanted a shrimp scampi dinner, although not on the menu, they made it for us anyway. Better than any other local Italian/ seafood restaurant.
