Always a great experience at Hart’s Ace Hardware! Doug and his team do a great job of providing friendly, helpful service to all their customers. I use Hart’s both for my business needs as well as personal. Their screen repair is second to none and I always find something I “need” in the store even if that’s not what brought me there in the first place. Keep up the great work serving the community, Hart’s!

Had a purchase that was defective that I only found out about later. Not only did the store use the value of my purchase for another similar item, but they also explained what I needed to get going on my DIY project. It’s refreshing to see brick and motor stores with such good knowledgeable help!

This is what used to be called a "mom and pop" hardware store. It's small, by Home Depot standards, but it has an amazing inventory and enough people actually interested in helping you. If you live in the community and have a need for some piece of hardware, a tool, or fixture of some kind...come here first. If they don't have it, fine, hitch up your dog sled and go to Home Depot. But start here first. The town is worth it and so are the people who run this little jewel of a company ou!

Local. Friendly... super friendly! Great variety of items for what you may need. Specialty and bulk items can be ordered. Prices are very fair and some actually beat the big box stores! Parking is available on street and municipal lot across the street.

Everything you want in a neighborhood hardware store. Helpful staff, decent selection of odds and ends, plus the best selection of fasteners I've found anywhere. Odd sizes? Metric? Fine thread? Stainless? They have them all.

While it doesn't have the floor area of a big box store it has 99% of what I need for a given project in stock and sometimes more. For example, I needed a custom size of glass for an interior French door - I had it within five minutes of walking in the door. The employees are always willing to help with a smile, and if they don't know the answer, they are always willing to ask other employees or the owner - just yesterday I ran out of stain in the middle of a project and couldn't find the color on the shelf. Turns out the manufacturer changed the name since I bought the stain a few years ago - I would have simply bought something "close enough" and lived with this but Doug knew about the name change right away. This is my go-to hardware store even though I might live closer to a big name big box hardware store. You can't go wrong going to Hart's Ace Hardware.

Very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, high customer service staff. There's a surprisingly wide selection of many various hardware and home goods items. For example, a dozen different snow shovel options in the winter.

They also provide many services, from knife sharpening to screen repair, and replacement electronic car keyless entry fobs. A great local alternative to the big box home improvement stores.

I often choose to shop here instead of going to the big box stores. The people working here are always helpful and knowledgeable.
I had copies of keys made yere yesterday. They all worked perfectly when I tried them in the locks. I've never had keys made elsewhere that worked well - I often had to take them back to be remade several times, and occasionally gave up. I will go back here for keys and lots of other things in the future.

Thank you part I got worked well ( used a window crank handle to fix the air draft nob on my wood burning fireplace insert) thank you again..

Nice family owned local town hardware store with most items needed for repairs, cleaning and painting... Center of town convenient location...

This is the ideal local store -- staff is ALWAYS helpful and they will go so far as to take the time to walk you through a job. When it comes to big ticket items, I will go to one of the big boxes, but its about customer care here and that in the long run, can save big $$. (how much time did I waste having to redo my wall 3 times because I did not get the right product, advice at Lowes?)

I can always find what I need without walking through acres of a big box store. The owner and staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Happy that we have such a store in town.

There is always knowledgeable staff on hand to help you find what you need; knowing not only what's where in the store but most importantly knowing what they have to solve the problem you describe. Real local and trustworthy feel from the customer service that is so hard to find these days.

This place is great! Called ahead to order paint and they had it ready within 15 minutes and were so nice when we went to pick it up!
