Show some love to one of Wakefield's newest takeout restaurants- Dominican street food inside of a convenience store - 129 Quick stop at 12 Vernon St. These food options are new over the past month and change as one of the family members relocated from CT (originally the Dominican Republic) to help the family business by changing the food menu.

We tried out all kinds of food and thought it was good.

129 QuickStop & Deli its under new ownership and management. This place is bringing Dominican Street foods to Wakefield and this place is amazing. Love the seasoning the flavors everything made to order. I love the Dominican Chimis there is also a Chimi sauce that is to die for. It’s called Camilo’s special Chimi sauce I recommend 100% 129 quick stop come check it out Monday through Fridays 6:30 AM until 9:00 PM Saturdays 7 AM until 9 PM. Sundays 8 AM, 5 PM.

There’s also smoothies available the flavors are mango, pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and banana This will be your next hangout spot. Come, check it out!!!! 😎😉🫶

Went out of our way to try this place out - and was extremely happy with the experience and outcome! The food was great and can't wait to try the other items on their menu. Owner was really nice and clearly passionate about his food and craft.

I dare you to visit this establishment without any expectations, the signage will make you wonder why you are looking to pickup breakfast, lunch, or dinner from a "convenience store". Trust me, it is not. The employees could not be friendlier, they'll help you find multiple offerings for your tastes. On my first visit I ordered a BLT panini with chicken. It was delicious. The chef even cared enough to make it look good in the to-go container. I absolutely will be visiting in the future and working my way through everything they have to offer. The 12" hot dot with several interesting toppings is likely next on my list.

Very welcoming place to this town. Wakefield needed this and its next door neighbor. Great hygiene, and better hospitality than any place in town. The food was great also, I enjoyed the chicken empanada the most but all were good. They even had a small deli section! This place is great and I’m excited to try it more and more as they grow!

Thanks guys for my dinner. You saved my night. It was very tasty but a lot for one person 😁 Great customer service. I did not tip because it was my first time, but will definitely tip next time. Its worth it! 👌🏽

I’d give ten stars! Authentic and excellent higiene plus great hospitality, just like home. Can’t go wrong. Not to mention reasonable prices and variety. I added the banana cause that’s how we do back at home. -Lipe

I go to this shop almost everyday. The guy that works there is so nice. I've never had a single problem with this store I've been short a couple cents and they've never cared. They remember me and what I get so after the first week of me going in I got to stop bringing in my ID :) this store is my go to !!!

Awesome place to grab an unbelievable breakfast burrito! You will not be disappointed.

There are a lot of good little convenient stores and smoke shops in Wakefield... Everytime I go here, it's ONLY because they are open an hour after my store of choice is. I have been a penny short a couple of times- they have given me such a hard time. I had to turn around without purchasing my items, because they would not let me get away with a couple cents short. Go somewhere else. Go to Towne News & Smoke Shop on North Ave, their prices are so much cheaper - and the customer service is amazing!
