Abbott's Frozen Custard

I love this place so much! Before Abbott’s I never had frozen custard before. As an ice cream lover I actually like it better. The flavors were homemade and delicious, and the service is always great. They also have amazing novelties - their chip wheels and ice cream pies are my favorite. I often get an ice cream pie for special events instead of a cake!

Abbott’s has the best frozen custard I’ve ever had! You can definitely tell that it’s made fresh every day. Their customer service is great too, everyone is always extremely friendly and helpful - it’s just an overall enjoyable experience anytime I go in there. They have a really good selection of flavors and topping options too. I also love that they have other desserts you can get there like the frozen bananas and turtles. But the chip wheels are my absolute favorite I always get some to go when I’m there to keep in the freezer at home!

I also went to a company event once where Abbott’s was catering and it was the best idea! Everyone loved it and kept talking about how awesome it was.

Whenever I have family or friends visiting I make sure I bring them to Abbott’s! Highly recommend!!

Great service by a quick and attentive staff. The custard was SO tasty, I love toppings but the vanilla was so flavorful I ate it plain! The chocolate almond is also a must, never thought I’d enjoy a custard with almond but it was heavenly. I’ve had many different types of custard and this by far was the best. If you are having a get together you must get a custard pie! Peanut butter custard pie is my favorite but the pumpkin pie with Oreo crust is a MUST HAVE during thanksgiving time.

I've been coming to Abbott's for the past 5 years, and I can confidently say this is by far the best custard I've ever had. They rotate flavors quite a bit, which gives such a good variety. Highly recommend the chocolate almond flavor. It is TO DIE FOR. I unfortunately moved to New York recently, so can't get my Abbott's fix as much as I want, but anytime I'm in the area, it is on my MUST DO list. Keep doing what you're doing, Abbott's. You have a customer for life!

One of our favorite places! Been going there since it first opened; fantastic custard, flavors and always good customer service. The owners deeply care about the community and their employees. Highly recommend stopping in for some chocolate almond!

I may be a bit biased, but I think this is the best dessert on the planet. The team here is so kind, even when they get busy (and boy can they get busy during the summer but they still keep the lines moving, which I respect). People of all ages seem to really love this place, and I can understand why. It's made fresh daily, which I think is just awesome. I saw a review comparing it to McDonalds which is a joke, it is SO MUCH better and I think only the pre-packed pints are actually more than a day old (and I'm told those were just from earlier that week). PLUS they haven't jacked their prices up to crazy levels like some of the medium/big chains (I'm looking at you JP Licks...)! I highly encourage everyone to check it out - you won't regret it!

If you like ice cream, then you must try Abbott's Frozen Custard because it's like ice cream on steriods. Creamier, smoother and it's apparently made fresh every single day on-site (you can watch the fresh custard coming out of their machine over the counter if you time your visit right!). There are a fair amount of storefronts in Needham center that have changed over the past decade but there's a reason why Abbott's has remained. Highly recommend getting one of the pies for a special occasion. I love the PB cup pie. Always a nice change of pace for thanksgiving or when bringing a dessert to a party. Abbott’s does it right!

I went to Abbotts the other day, and I just had to leave a review! The service was great, and all the staff are amazing. It was also my first time trying frozen custard, and it did not disappoint! Ill be back!
