Wellesley Family Dental

Highly recommend this practice! I went for the first time today and it was so refreshing to get exceptional and honest dental care without the pushy pricey upsell pitches. I felt like they cared about me as a patient and not as a dollar sign. Everything was on time, the staff was highly professional but kind too, and the facility was clean and modern. Could not have had a better experience.

I have been a patient at Wellesley Family Dental for over 4 years. My elderly Mother and adult Son have also become patients of the practice. The office is beautiful, modern, state of the art, clean and easy to get to and park. The staff is kind, caring and responsive. They have always taken me on time and have done a wonderful job caring for my teeth as well as educating me on how to better care for my teeth and gums at home. The hygienists are gentle and thorough and the dentists are wonderful, kind, patient and gentle. They have needed to refer me to several other dental professionals for various needs (orthodontist, periodontist, etc... and even the dentists they have referred me to were absolutely great). They are fair and honest and have always been responsive in fitting us in when a dental problem arises. I would hightly recommend Wellesley Family Dental to anyone of any age. It is great practice with talented dental professionals and a caring staff.

I had a very pleasant first visit at Wellesley Family Dental. The office is decorated in an attractive modern industrial look, with nice artwork on the walls. Lauren gave me a great cleaning and new/different advice on my home care regimen/equipment, which is very helpful. She was efficient, thorough, and didn't ask questions when she was actively working in my mouth, which is always very awkward to try and answer during a cleaning. Dr. Knudsen is a fantastic dentist, and I look forward to my next visit and future treatment here.

Update: they continue to hit it out of the ballpark. I was running late to my last appointment, and Dr Chick still managed to accommodate me, and took the time it took to patiently work on my bite (post-fillings). I could t be happier with their outstanding care. I wish all dental practices could feel like a cutting-edge family practice like this. Amazing, caring clinicians!!

These guys did a fantastic job at patiently teaching my 4 yo son all about the visit, the equipment, and what all to expect from a dental cleaning. The staff were so sweet and respectful; he felt so important, and because of his hard won cooperation, he was able to receive great care (including his first set of X-rays!) A special thanks to Lauren, who has a gift for working with little people. We has a truly wonderful experience.

Dr. Moskowitz has gone above and beyond for me and my family. We've been going there for years and we have always an amazing an experience. The staff is always friendly, accommodating to scheduling our appointments and most recently an emergency appointment. They follow up after a more in-depth procedure and are always available for any questions or concerns. Dr. Moskowitz is very knowledgeable and experienced, but takes her time to explain what her assessment and recommendations. She is always inclusive in bringing you in your treatment and care. I highly recommend this practice.

I dread going to the dentist... have never had a dentist I really liked, for many reasons. Today's visit with Wellesley Family Dental was fantastic, easy and, dare I say it? Nice!!!! I was relaxed because of their friendliness, detailed explanations of potential issues, and bolstering of what they think I'm doing right!!!! No guilt... no feeling badly about myself because I'm not perfect.... Just kindness!!! Highly recommend!!! And, I will look forward to going twice a year now!!! Thanks!

Dr. Moskowitz was very patient and the staff explained every step of the teeth whitening process. I was very happy with the outcome and it looked great. The office also gave me steps to keep up the whitening once I got home. I would highly recommend Dr. Moskowitz. She is warm and friendly and her years of experience really shows.

The best dentists I've ever had! My whole local family goes to them and now I've brought some friends to the good side too. Lovely, clean, inviting atmosphere and great dental work no matter what you've got going on!

I highly recommend this dental practice. I have been unhappy with the previous dentist I was using and recently switched to Wellesly Family Dental. My first appointment was last month and it was just a straightforward cleaning. The Hygenist was very kind and seemed very capable at her job. She worked quickly and did not cause me any discomfort whatsoever. I returned today because I needed a filling. I was able to spend much more time with the Dentist today. Dr. Moskowitz is clearly exceptional at her job. The filling is so smooth that I can not feel it at all when I bite down. My previous filling, from another practice, took several months to feel normal. This dentist has the best bedside manner of any dentist I have ever used. She clearly prioritized my comfort level over just getting the work done. She repeatedly stopped to check on me. Getting a tooth drilled is never pleasant, but she made this an easy experience. In addition, I never felt rushed out of the appointment. She took at least a dozen pictures and spent time with me. She answered all of my questions and really explained what was going on and what she recommended. She was so patient, and I never felt like she was condescending as she explained the different terminology so that I could fully comprehend. The office is beautiful and the bathroom was very clean. I have already scheduled my next cleaning in 6 months and I plan to switch the rest of my family over to this practice. I highly recommend !!!

Excellent dental care! We’re so glad they moved into the neighborhood.
Staff are both professional and friendly. They go out of their way to explain your dental health, things to watch, etc. The hygienists are fantastic, and use a combination of “old-school” dental tools, and new technologies.
The space is welcoming, bright, and barely feels like a dental office.

The entire staff at Wellesley Family Dental is exceptionally kind, accommodating, and truly have my best interest at heart. I was referred to their practice after going to Waltham Family Dental, where my roommate and I both had a somewhat negative experience—I’ve never dreaded the dentist until needing a root canal during a global pandemic. I was beginning to accept that at dentist visits, dental issues may not be fully explained, I’d be rushed through procedures, and I’d feel more like a mouth than a patient. Wellesley Family Dental changed all of that; their philosophy is very apparent in how they explain every step of the process (great for adults, not just kids), treat the mouth as a unit and one that the patient should have the ability to maintain (e.g., the teeth are the best shape for flossing), have a conservative approach (saving money and pain), document the patient’s dental health extensively, and just overall practice unmatched empathy and competency. Dr. Moskowitz-Porath, hygienist Lauren, and the front desk staff have saved me so much stress and turned my mouth around after two other practices let me down. I can’t recommend them enough.

Thank you and the entire staff for providing a relaxing and comfortable environment. I truly appreciated the constant communication about what was happening during the procedure and what to expect. It was a painless process and I can't tell you what a relief it is to have this procedure behind me. I will be enthusiastically recommending Wellesley Family Dental to all of my friends and family!

I recently drove from my town of Sutton 45 minutes (which if your from town you know is nothing) because of a referral I was given for my youngest daughter. She had a poor dental experience and as a result was left with huge dental office anxiety issues. It was a struggle to get her in the chair after. Crying and fighting. I am so glad I came here! Kudos to Dr Moskowitz-Porath for assembling an amazing staff!!!! She is an incredible dentist who understands the anxiety of both parent and child. She and her warm staff made my daughter love the dentist! She can't wait to go back! My whole family is switching to the practice now! If your looking for a great dental experience this is it, it is a warm, honest, and patient office!!!!

I've had excellent care at Wellesley Family Dental. Dr Chick and the hygienists listen to my concerns, the office staff have made it easy to make the most of my insurance, and I'm pleased with the results.

I had a sensitive tooth that had been bugging me for years after a filling, and 2 previous dentists could not find the problem/resolve the sensitivity. The tooth began really acting up the last couple of days to the point of half my face aching terribly. Dr. Moskowitz-Porath was meticulous and systematic in isolating the problem and carefully explained everything she was testing and doing. So impressed, and so glad to have found this practice!

Everyone from front reception to my hygienist Lauren and Dr. Moskowitz-Porath were great. They are very friendly, informed and informative. They answered all of my questions. My wife and two teenage sons visited a month prior to my visit and both Lauren and Dr. Moskowitz-Porath remembered them. I love the personal touch!

This place is the best! I drive over an hour to go to this dentist and it’s worth it. The office is always extremely clean and also newly renovated. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. It is also a family run business which is a huge plus in my eyes, they take the time to get to know you.

The staff here are incredibly clear and courteous. They showed sincere attention to the concerns I brought up during my evaluation and worked on a detailed treatment plan. Everyone I worked with was friendly, welcoming and professional. Highly recommended.

Wellesley Family Dental was great! Very nice, clean office/atmosphere, and Jackie was a fabulous dental hygienist. My teeth look and feel great, and I look forward to my next cleaning!
