Black Hills Community Bank

Great bank with great customer service. I've never heard of them closing a customer's account for holding political beliefs they don't agree with, like some national banks do. I highly doubt they would. They also don't open new accounts without out authorization to increase revenue nor do they process deposits late so that payments bounce like some other banks do, like, Well, you know.

Teri was amazing to work with for our mortgage. She made the process easy and seamless along with answering all our questions. We highly recommend working with her!

I love this bank! Everyone is so friendly and they really make you feel like a friend. From the second that you walk into the doors, Denis is there to greet you, the tellers are so nice and everyone I've used in the lending department has been so helpful and responsive. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing institution! I have never had an unpleasant experience with them. A brief anecdote of one particularly memorable experience - I ordered concert tickets through a resale website and didn't receive the tickets. BHCB worked tirelessly and calmly to try to assist me in filing a dispute - when things ultimately didn't pan out and the vendor was refusing to provide further information BHCB made the situation right to the best of their ability. Shout out to Alexis and Desirae for their wonderful customer service. I will never bank elsewhere and can't recommend them highly enough. 6 STARS!

The customer service at BHCB is unparalleled. Working in a fast paced environment, I sometimes required a quick turnaround and Ms Desiree Fenenga has always managed to make it happen. She is alwalys very responsive to our needs and does it with a smile. I would highly recommend them for your banking needs.

This bank is truly a community bank invested in local people. This small local bank was able to deliver PPP loans to its customers with businesses when other big banks said they couldn’t. Black Hills Community Bank worked tirelessly to help it’s customers during the COVID pandemic and I will forever be grateful and a loyal customer. This bank truly does care about it’s customers.

I’ve done 5 mortgage loans with this bank and Teri is an absolute rock star. Some of our mortgages are for properties in another state and she made the process effortless for me. On one loan we had issues with the builder not finishing work after closing. Teri contacted the builders every single day until they completed the work. She was the only one who stuck by our side after closing. Our property management and realtor could not get the builders to do the work. But Teri was persistent, going above and beyond for us to make sure the work was completed.

With COVID and all the uncertainty of our time I find comfort in knowing that my bank supports me and my community. Thank you Black Hills Community Bank for making a difference in my life and many others.

The banks in my area have essentially the same interest rates on savings, the same fees associated with checking, the same everything, almost, when you look at them on paper. BH Community is light years ahead of the competition on service. What's it matter if you have a higher rate or a lower fee, if I can't talk to an intelligent person in a timely fashion and fix a problem before it gets big? Love this bank!
