Unfortunate loss of customer

I used to recommend this shop to many of my friends and family, was able to grab beautiful pieces of clothing and was so excited to bring my partner to enjoy the shop as well.
One day I visited and asked if they had spots available to work one day as I truly loved the store and wanted to be apart of it - I was kindly declined with absolutely no hard feelings about the circumstances.
I did one last lap around the shop and left with my Father to continue my day, I then was followed out of the store by an incredibly intoxicated woman to another shop down the road where then she confronted the employees that me and my Father had stolen from her friends store.
Me and my Father were baffled as we loved to go into the boutique and regularly tried to shop there every weekend once we found out about it, but I now feel disgusted and disappointed that they felt I would take advantage of them like they so awfully assumed.
I recommend checking out other secondhand stores in town, I feel so much more welcomed and safe while shopping and I feel that should always be guaranteed.
I also would like to add that there seems to be another review of a young indigenous woman also being accused of stealing so it seems to me like a possible ‘race’ issue within the store and if you’re colored - you are not welcomed.
Thank you for letting me get my experience out and I hope this gets out to those who appreciate honesty and integrity.

I had been in here multiple times and loved the reasonable prices and seemingly friendly owner, but the first time I brought my girlfriend (who happens to be Native American) here, the woman running the store accused her specifically of stealing. On the way in, she complimented my white friend and I but said nothing to my girlfriend. My girlfriend had her hands in her pockets the entire time and removed them one time to look at a shirt (which she did not remove from the rack). Soon after this the woman working the register, who I believe was the owner, stopped what she was doing and asked my girlfriend if she was stealing, and after she said no asked me if I was helping her and had put something in my shirt. I was wearing a short, loose shirt and tight jeans. I would have literally flashed her if I slightly lifted my arms, so there was no possible way I could’ve hidden anything. I should have posted this earlier, but this was summer 2020.

Good options in store but disappointed in false information given about return policy. I bought two items and was told confidently by sales associate that there were 30 days to return items. I then found something better at a different boutique and tried to return the same day, but the owner said that was not possible to return items/ items are final sale and did nothing to compensate for their mistakes.
