I had an eye emergency (poked it bending over a sharp object) and the staff was able to get me in within two hours. The doctor gave me a gentle eye exam and antibiotics to prevent infection. I do not have vision insurance, but because it was an injury they billed my medical insurance. She explained what I can expect throughout the healing process and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Very timely. The front desk answered all my registration and payment questions. The doctor was so pleasant and explained everything that she was doing. I’ll definitely be going back next year!!

I’m not a fan of the ye exams or going to any doctor but they were incredibly nice and very descriptive about each step to make sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend sadly I’m moving so I won’t be able to use again but definitely recommend

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I had a great appointment. Everyone there is friendly, courteous, and truly cares. Sara and Dr. Haeker took their time and addressed all of my questions, they were able to give me a diagnosis and get me into a retina specialist within a day, without them I very likely would have had some serious issues with a detached retina. Thank you so very much Independent Optical, you truly are amazing!

Everybody there was so genuinely nice, and when they found an issue in my eye, they contacted an eye surgery place for me and set the appointment up to get me in that same day. They were really reassuring and they were great with communicating everything to me so I was never left wondering. They also have a good selection of frames to choose from. Definitely recommend this place!

These guys are always so amazing. I absolutely love going here for all my eye care needs the staff are highly knowledgeable about a wide variety of eye needs as well a products and treatments. And they have a wide variety of eye glasses so whatever your style is they have it I’m sure. So if you like to be treated with kindness and want a place that truly cares about your eye care then this place is the best place to go.

Dr. Rotella is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. She is on time and never makes me wait for more than a couple minutes. I recently had problems with a pair of contact lenses that just didn't work for me and they replaced with no problems or difficulty. Is great to have such amazing customer service as well as reliable, quality eye care.

I was very impressed with the place. Dr. Rotella is a very amazing lady. She listened to me as I explained the issues I was having with my vision. I mean, really listened. Didn't try to talk down to me or talk over me. She explained everything in detail in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend them to anybody needing an eye exam. My experience with them made it very pleasant to get my first eye exam and glasses.

The staff were very friendly, and the Doctor took extra time to look at an eye injury that I had gotten a while ago. Loved the experience with them! Highly recommend to anyone. Also, the ladies that work over on the other side of the building that help you with the frames. Super knowledgeable and very friendly. They helped me get the right glasses for me, at a very affordable price!

Both the doctor, assistant, and front desk associate, were super nice for all three of my visits. The doctor explained everything to me when updating my prescription, and getting contacts. She also was incredibly patient while I learned how to use them. Great place, super quick service too!
