We had a lovely stay in an amazing home. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. We thought we were renting a cabin and instead found ourselves in an amazing home and community. This dog friendly property had many places to walk them on leash. The home was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely use Greybeard again and stay at this property.

We recently stayed at Chestnut House in Rivermont Cabins, located in the Pisgah Forest, and it was a great experience. The cabin has fantastic mountain views and you can hear the Pigeon River nearby, which is really relaxing.

The house is well-maintained, clean, and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It feels modern yet cozy, perfect for a group or family. There's plenty of outdoor activities right at your doorstep, thanks to its location. We did some hiking and enjoyed the nature around.

Booking was straightforward, and the hosts were helpful, kind and very hospitable.

Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery, Chestnut House is worth checking out. Great place to unwind and enjoy nature.

The property, aptly named Heaven's Point, truly lived up to its heavenly reputation. Offering breathtaking vistas, immaculate accommodations, and a cutting-edge hot tub for unwinding after strenuous hikes, the cabin provided unparalleled comfort. The responsive and knowledgeable staff promptly addressed any inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience. Stocked with essential amenities, including ample firewood for cozy evenings, the cabin exceeded all expectations. I cannot wait to go back!

Graybeard's Ashevilla is a gem! The view is UNBELIEVABLE, the house was cozy and the Graybeard staff was friendly and responsive. It's the perfect location--only minutes from downtown and did I mention the view?!? ❤

Excellent stay at Misty Mountain Hideaway! This cabin is hidden in a good way, we enjoyed being tucked away from others. (Pics from the cabin view)

Traveler tip, Chimney Rock (about 6 miles away) is not only a nearby small town for souvenirs/ shopping etc. but they have a state park too.
If you do decide to visit Chimney Rock area we highly recommend dining at The Highlands Kitchen + Bar. You won’t regret it!

The drive to this home was worth it. We loved being so high up. The morning sunrise was gorgeous! We felt like the house wasn’t a rental because it was so warm and comfortable!! Due to the weather we literally spent 2 days inside and enjoyed the hot tub, movie theater and fireplace. Thanks for allowing us to rent this home.

What a great home for a family vacation! We spent a week at High Lake Lodge and felt right at home. Tons of games and activities for the kids and the adults. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and by the fire, and really appreciated the supplied s’mores ingredients. The house was very clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. And talk about amazing, breathtaking views! Proximity to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate was great, and the little town of Black Mountain is so adorable with plenty of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this home for your next NC vacation.

I’ve rented from GreyBeard since around 2020 when they purchased the apartments I was living in. They’ve been nothing but helpful. Every maintenance request was responded to and resolved immediately. When my refrigerator broke down they gave me a mini fridge to save my food they even replaced the refrigerator with a new one. Very friendly people. When I moved away for 9 months and moved back to Fletcher, they were the first people I contacted for a place to live.

Have nothing but good things to say about this company. I will be moving to a house to rent from a friend soon and I will be leaving greybeard but I will always recommend them to anyone I know. Prices are reasonable and you really get your monies worth. They updated our town home before moving in with new floors etc.

The staff was very friendly and the overall renting process was extremely efficient and easy. The cabin was even better than pictured! It was absolutely gorgeous and the Mountain View’s were amazing! The cabin had everything we needed from games, extra pillows and blankets, kitchen essentials, food staples, bathroom essentials, etc. The cabin itself was stunning to say the least.The great room when we walked in was phenomenal with the all windows and the view stopped us in our tracks (we could see the lake from up there).
It was decorated beautifully with thought put into every space. Little details like the design around the fireplace mantle with a 3D wood cutout of the mountains with bears and other wildlife and the tiles etched with subtle designs of mountain life. The open shower with subtle pops of color in the tile with mother of pearl in them. Even the light fixtures and accent lighting were perfect with beautiful pieces that flowed with the rest of the decor. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was impeccably clean and there is thought for guests in every corner. They even had dog bowls in case we forgot yours. We didn’t leave the cabin when we stayed as there was no need. I would highly recommend this company for your mountain getaway. We have rented several cabins and Airbnb’s in the area, but Greybeard is our new go to. Worth spending a little extra money to get a cabin like that and the views were priceless.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! All of the thoughtful amenities(fans), the beautiful view, stovetop, loaded kitchen, jacuzzi, and fire pit! We had a wonderful time at Black Bear Summit and highly recommend this roomy house! Don’t delay book today!!!

We stayed at Ridgetop Hideaway and loved it! The road to the house is a little worn and bumpy however its worth the drive for the amazingly beautiful view and peacefulness. The house was clean and had all we needed. We didn’t want to leave! We saw 4 bear as well that was an added bonus to the stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Days Like This cabin over Christmas break. It was very cozy and clean with breathtaking views. We visited with our children and there was plenty of space. Highly recommend checking out Tom’s Creek Falls…close drive, great trail with a beautiful waterfall at the end. Thank you so much for the unforgettable trip!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home during our 3-night stay. Stunning views from the main level with glass all around created a breathtaking feel. Loved the huge deck with fire table, the high-end hot tub and wood burning fireplace. The huge, open kitchen is outstanding and well-equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Surface space in bathrooms was a bit lacking and 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are small but nice. We would (and may) rent this house again. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the amazing high cliffs house! A truly unique design with spacious bedrooms, living rooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The most impressive part was the view. We had the most joyful time watching the clouds, trees, and sunset from the balcony and firepit area. After visiting both smoky mountains (TN) and black mountain (NC), I really think the black mountain is more beautiful. It is a perfect getaway destination.

The Forget Me Not cabin was even better than I imagined. I loved everything about it. It feels rustic and cozy, and was super clean and well cared for. It was the perfect peaceful, secluded place I was hoping for. I could sit out on the back porch and stare at that beautiful view all day. It was well stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. We even had great phone service. We had a magical stay - this cabin exceed expectations. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

We loved everything about our stay at Grey Eagle Lodge! The house was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. It's beautifully appointed and we especially loved the huge kitchen and dining areas and both the enclosed and outdoor porches (check out the sunset pic from the back porch). The town is super cute and only 20 minutes from Asheville, so there was plenty to do. We highly recommend this amazing property!

Grey beard Rentals was wonderful and accommodating to work with. The employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. We rented Cabin in the Clouds for a month during the holidays and it was amazing! The views were surreal and the property just stunning. The cabin itself was wonderful! It was beautiful, well equipped, and so comfortable that we did not want to leave! The house was fully decorated for the holidays in each and every room. In addition, the owner was so kind to leave us coffee, a platter of pastries, and gingerbread! The kindest touch. I highly recommend Cabin in the Clouds!!!
