First time eating here. Great food with generous portions. Great service. I had fried mushrooms with honey mustard dressing dip for appetizer. Entree...Perch dinner (6-7 nice size pieces) with sweet potato and broccoli and hush puppies.

Family friendly and very popular. They also have a salad bar and buffet option. Highly recommend.

It wasn't too busy for a Sunday evening. We ordered the salad. The big salad is huge. Take it into consideration. We should have. 🤣 The seafood platter was delish. The hush puppies are good. Sharing plates is not a problem. The service is great. Prices were about what we expected and the sweet tea is on pointe. Will definitely be back!

We were at Hook n achor to celebrate a birthday party. We were in a side room with about 30 people. The servers worked very hard to make sure everyone had everything we needed and the food was very good.

Nice family restaurant, full of friendly people. The food was great for the price. Coleslaw was surprisingly good in fact!

Awesome fish place! Love their sweet potato fries, broiled shrimp, and hush puppies especially! We had this much left over so the portions are very generous! Great food, great service, and an overall great restaurant!

Buffet closed.. Default food is fried, not my preference. The scallops (not breaded/fried) were perfect. The catfish & Alaska white were cooked well. Their hushpuppies were nothing like I have seen before and were great.
Corey is a great server and went overboard to make sure we were fas & happy. The music choice for dining room was just right.

While the decor is dated this is an old school family night out with great seafood and absolutely amazing menu and daily specials.

Great fish camp style seafood place. If you like your food spicy, get the salt and pepper breading! Will definitely return next time in Marion.

There was a line out of the door and I saw why. Their food was very tasty. We will be back.

Restaurant has been around 40 years, so they are doing something right. I enjoyed the catfish and fried oysters. I won't say all the menu items are knock your socks off, but solid plates and good service.

The waitstaff was super friendly and the hostess was very sweet. My first time at this restaurant was very good and I could tell it's probably pretty popular with the community! Oh, if you are over 55, you can order the Senior Citizens meal 😁a first for me!

Great food and service! Need to visit more often. Steak was cooked perfectly!!

We were here on a Thursday evening.The perch and flounder was cooked perfect. Not greasy at all. The slaw was perfect, and I am very critical of slaw recipes. Hush puppies and fries were really good. The service was top notch. I will be going back next time I am in North Carolina.
