YUM! And fun!! They have pool and Foosball! Fried pickles are DELICIOUS and their cheeseburger sliders are even more amazing! Friendly and quick service and cheap!! Appetizers are only like 7 bucks 👍👍

I’m not sure how there are bad reviews!!?? Staff is trying their best due to not having enough staff. This place is great. We will absolutely be back!! Our new Sunday sports bar!! Crazy amount of food for the prices! We only paid 21$ for this food, AND 2 beers!!

The staff is wonderful! Drinks were cold. Food was good. Highly suggest this little place if you are driving on I-40 near Marion.

Stopped here on our way out of town and the food was good. The waitress was nice and the food was fresh and hot. I got the French dip and loved it. Crinkle fries and the home fries were good. I did not get the salad bar but I did look at it and everything was stocked and clean.

I love this place its so close to the house and the food is very good. I've tried almost. Everything on the menu now and so far everything I've eaten is so good. Love the hand cut fries they are my favorite. And the Philly(steak and chicken) are also my favorites. Thank you for the great food you have and the service y'all provide 💜💜

This place was nice. Arrived right at opening and staff were courteous and pleasant. The food was top notch with wings,burgers and Philly Cheesesteak. Was told they have live bands and karaoke. Definitely check it out when your near

Great restaurant for Marion! Good food, good service. Plenty of pool tables for entertainment also. We went during the week, I bet it's much busier on the weekend. I hear the bar serves up great drinks too!

1st time was great food. Loved the salad bar. Son enjoyed his juicy steak.

2nd time. Disappointed no salad bar. More service then last time. Steak was good. Really look forward toward a salad bar.

Tonight I came into boondocks for the first time with my wife and son. I had no expectations and didn’t quite know what to expect from the sports bar and grill. However, upon entering the building, I was greeted by a friendly staff member. My waitress, Madie, was very attentive to my table and was super sweet to my kid. My beer was good and cold and the food was really good. Definitely recommend!

We're from out of town, stopped in several weeks ago on a Sunday around 4, sat in bar area. Both bartenders were super nice, were very attentive. Food was pretty good (burger and fried shrimp). Was pretty quiet around that time, a few regulars.

Today was our first time. We were actually in the Rutherfordton area and my wife said she wanted to try this place. The hostess/waitress was awesome. The wings and dry tower was really good. I didn't care for my sirloin but will try a burger the next time. After we finished eating and paid I saw that they have a game room in the back that looks fun.

I love this place. Usually go there every Friday and Saturday night when I’m in McDowell. The staff is awesome and fun and handle bad patrons well. The owner, Jeremy, is usually there and full on smiles. Their events are really fun and bring out many people. Their drink combinations are amazing and have the best prices. So come out on any weekend and have some fun with crazy locals in a great environment.

Our family chose Boondocks for lunch because we wanted a place that could seat the 6+ of us together without us being on top of other people and where we could have a variety of choices. We were seated quickly and our waitress, Kassy, was friendly, polite and super quick. Unlike other places we've been, we never had to beg for a refill or get up to hunt the help. Kassy was on point as our server! The food was great and our service was wonderful. The salad bar was fresh, clean and had a good variety of items. Definitely a place we'll be back to.

We go to Boondocks regularly and love it. The owners are great. Ask what they did in honor of an employee who passed away. You WILL be impressed. Love the craft beers and wings. Can't wait to visit you downtown. Brandi is an awesome waitress and very capable as well as friendly. We really enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

Fantastic place. I got steak tips and they were done perfectly. Boyfriend got wings and he loved them. Only complaint was the the fries were way to salty, but that could be a one time thing. Will definitely go back

This was out first time at Boondocks. We were having a bachelorette party and decided to stop to see what we could knock off our scavenger hunt list. Let me just say this...everyone, EVERYONE from the bartender to the patrons helped us with completing our list. We didn't have easy things to accomplish either...lap dances for the bride, serenading the bride, and gettin a condom were among things on the list. This AMAZING group of folks were troopers. We made some awesome memories and even made some friends. I just hope we left them with some memories too.

We were on our way home near Charlotte when we pulled off to find sonething to eat. Boy did we stumble on a diamond in the rough here. The food was excellent! My wife and I were both impressed with our selections. I will certainly keep this place in mind when traveling through next time!!!

Our waitress Sierra B was great! Made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great and came out quickly after we ordered. Definitely recommend their Mac and cheese and honey bbq boneless wings!
