Pilot Travel Center

Excellent place to stop and refuel. The gas station and the shop are clean. During the night, both have adequate lighting so the place looks safe. Easy to access.

Toilets are clean.

Good place to stop winding through the mountains.

Always lovely to stop at your centers! Great coffee and people are always at your stops. This one had a Cinnabon station so we indulged on some freshly made Cinnabon’s!! The dog is also grateful for the stop as well! Truck stops are the best when it comes to a quick pitstop while out on the roads! Thank you!

I really have to say this is the cleanest pilot yet and the people are super nice and friendly and most of all I was so amazed how they already had the preferred parking with my name on it and I have to say that’s something all the pilots and flying j should adopt…… Thank you guys for the awesome customer service

Love the location and surroundings. Shower was very very clean!! They have a little Pizza place inside the Pilot. The Pizza and buffalo boneless wings are to die for! Excellent Pilot and the staff is amazing. Will be back for sure 👍

This place gets 5 stars because the management and staff here take their jobs seriously. They are very welcoming, keep the store clean and well stocked, and make sure your day is better.

The best part is when you reserve a spot, they put your name on it so it’s waiting for you when you arrive! I’ve never seen that at any of the big name truck stops.

Parking is a bit tight, but it is what it is. It’s a very mountainous area of NC so that’s to be expected.

It has a Subway and Mama DeLuca’s pizza which are both delicious. The Subway bread was the freshest I’ve ever experienced.

Honestly, this is easily one of the Top 5 truck stops for a mega chain in America!

Nice store, good layout with Subway inside. Restroom very clean. I appreciated the electric paper towel dispensers in good working condition. Attendant Kim cheerful and very nice. Parking limited, tight for combination vehicles.

It's small but it has everything. The shower was perfect. Washer and dryer new model. Everything clean.

It's a nice little pilot. Not a lot of parking. Beware trucker, you may wanna get there early. Once inside a very clean and organized store. I appreciate that. I love a clean shower and restroom. Staff is friendly

This Pilot is by far the nicest one. The staff are really nice and the rest rooms and shower are clean and have a clean lemon scent.

New, clean, well stocked. Air isn't free but appears to go toward a charitable cause.

Even though cops were called Twice my first time here, including to get some lunatic off the ceiling, I think this place is great! Friendly staff, clean store and lot in beautiful NC. From the manager to all employees, all were nice and very helpful, thanks guys and gals:) Even though they were short staffed, they found a way to get things done, and done right! There’s no way this is managed by same general/regional manger as the flying J(or pilot, I forget now) by the same clowns running the Charleston, MO store.

Really nice little spot. One of the cleanest Pilots I've ever been to. Really nice employees. Very small parking lot - like about 35 or 40 spaces, but plenty of space to move your truck around. If you're planning on getting here past 3 or 4 pm, you need to reserve a spot early in the day. This place fills up fast, and reserve parking sells out early.

Great place and clean Restroom

Pilot 1063 is the BEST PIlot I have ever been to. I reserved a Prime Parking Spot at 0930 while in Kentucky. I half expected to have to get someone to have a truck removed from my spot. I arrived at 16:00.
The Reserve Spots had names of Drivers that had PAID for a Spot. AWESOME!! I went inside to get paperwork and ALL EMPLOYEES Greeted me with a Hello and a Smile!
Reserved a Shower that was Very Clean and Actually SMELLED GOOD! The parking lot was the Cleanest I had ever seen.
ALL PILOT/FLYING J'S NEED TO TAKE NOTICE OF THIS LOCATION!

The employees here were fantastic, I hope they all get a raise whoever was working 01/06/19 @ 7pm.. The shower guy was getting really busy and keeping up and working hard.. the two cashiers were excellent! One of the best pilots I've been to, and I've been to almost all of them.

PFJ needs to take notes of the staff here and train with it across the country. Friendly and welcoming staff. Not only do they keep the place very clean but they go out of their way and place your name on a reserved spot. Never once have I had another truck stop do this. Makes you feel welcome. Keep it up y’all.

Otherwise there’s only a handful of spots (understandable considering the mountain location) and it fills up quick. A couple “make a spot” spots. Tons of backing space.

I think this must be the best Pilot I have ever visited. Clean clean clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Reserve spot has your name on it which makes it easy and saves the spot for you when you return. Manager is busy cleaning and making sure things go well. Other Pilots should take a cue.
