Chalet Restaurant

Had a fantastic time here. The food was tasty and the service was good, but the view is spectacular. We all know the atmosphere can be the determining factor for the memory. Well, I appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. With that said the pricing was good and I just don't have anything to complain about.

I did not stay at the inn, but I did eat at The Chalet. The scenery is great, the food was well made, and the beer selection was acceptable. The candy shop in town also had some great little treats made locally. Parking situation seemed odd, probably not best to pull in with a huge RV or trailer.

The view is amazing, so peaceful and surreal. The food is delicious and well priced. Some dishes are big enough to share. Highly recommend, perfect for a lunch date, causal dressed and sightseeing.

Beautiful place to visit and eat. Enjoyed the scenery up in Little Switzerland while we had a few beers and dinner.

First of all this place is gorgeous just to look at, the whole vibe is immaculate. We did not stay here but I will definitely come back to do so soon. We only came for lunch after visiting the emerald mine. The food was amazing!!!!! I had a couscous and quinoa salad with salmon, I cannot say enough about how perfect the combo of everything was !! The service was lovely and so was the beer.

Big big fan of this place. We ate in the bar, great decor and atmosphere. They were a little short staffed but it wasn't too bad. They had 20 beers on tap including some really good North Carolina microbrews. The onion soup was very good, not too salty. The bacon appetizer is a 12 out of 10. Best appetizer I have had in years. The Alpine Club salad I got had ham and turkey and cheese on it and was wonderful. Would definitely eat here again hopefully in the restaurant with mountain views next time!

Wonderful lunch at outside tables overlooking the Blue Ridge Mts. Very friendly and attentive server. Our meals was delicious!

Great location with a gorgeous view. The food was amazing, friendly servers and great atmosphere. They're pet friendly too! There were a few dogs sitting with their family and the server brought them each a bowl of water. Really awesome place. I highly recommend.

We had a great time.
It's really hot for the mountains, but we kept cool with cold drinks.
That restaurant was casual, nice.

Just down the road from Big Lynn Lodge, they offer the fine dining experience similar to a Wisconsin Supper Club.
Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views, excellent service and fantastic entre's.
Pricing was on par with the meal, excellent and well worth it.
The shrimp with risotto was splendid, as was the salad and balsamic vinairgrette dressing.
Blackened Salmon was light and fresh with lemon drizzle and a dill dip, and the cheese & Jalepeno grits went very well as a side with sautéd Brussel sprouts.
We will definitely make this a stop on future road trips to the area!

Omggggg, this place Little Switzerland Inn is amazing. The food is so delicious, and the views of the Blue Ridge mountains are breathtaking!

I loved our dinner here! We are staying at the inn so of course we had to stop by for something to eat. We started with the charcuterie. It was just okay, nothing too special. I felt like it was lacking something like a grainy mustard or a jam to break up the richness of the meats and cheeses but it was still tasty. Cocktails were tasty as well. For meals, I had the turf and chop salad and my husband had the salmon. Mine was delicious! The filet was cooked perfectly and the salad was unexpectedly very flavorful. My husband enjoyed the salmon. It was a very large portion. We got the crème brûlée for dessert and WOW was it amazing!! I love crème brûlée and I think this is the best one I’ve tried!
Definitely give this beautiful restaurant a try if you’re in the area! It has a nice, cozy atmosphere, gorgeous views, and tasty food!

We had a great lunch here. We were seated outside and our waitress was friendly and helpful. When it started to rain we were a little worried, but the staff quickly and professionally got us all moved inside the pub to enjoy our meals

Understated yet glamorous. Honestly, I can not believe we have not been here until now. The view is spectacular. Would make a great proposal spot! 😉

Wonderful place to stop along the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy a meal. The Chalet is a casual restaurant on the Switzerland Inn property. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a coffee cup full of lobster bisque, the chicken quesadillas and a chicken sandwich. Everything tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients and served hot - probably one of the better, but more simple meals I've enjoyed on this trip. I've got to do better getting the names of the wait staff so I can give them a real shoutout. Our waitress was warm, welcoming and funny! Go out on the patio or the lawn and enjoy spectacular views of the parkway and a lovely sunset around a few firepits.

This restaurant has an incredible view and food to match. Their breakfast is great and a good price, particularly to be enjoying such amazing scenery while enjoying your meal. They also have great lunch and supper in the main dining room where the view is so wonderful. On the other side there is a cozy little bar with TV's and supper friendly staff, making everything body feel welcome, whether it is your 1st or 50th time to visit.

We loved the Chalet restaurant in the Little Switzerland Inn! It was a gorgeous drive to get there and WELL worth the trip! Stephanie at the outside bar was a dream and the food was to die for! If you’re even remotely near here, make it a priority to come for lunch or dinner! Make sure you check the times bc they close for a bit between lunch and dinner. The views are breathtaking and you’re going to love your visit!

Food was perfect, drinks and staff on point and views were fantastic! AAA+++
