First time puppy dad here. I asked a LOT of questions, probably an annoying number of them, and was met with detailed, thorough answers to all of them. Service was excellent, staff/doc were both helpful and friendly. Doctor was open and honest about what to do when, what is optional and what is necessary and I will be returning every few weeks for vaccines and check-ups!

Took my dog in today for his annual exam and vaccines. First thing I notice is that the animal hospital does not smell and is clean. (sure, the building is older, but clean--no urine/pet odor at all!) The waiting room is large and inviting (also has an area for children).
The front desk staff was kind and helped me right away. Once in the room, the veterinarian got down on the ground to look at my dog. Not only was she was very kind and caring, but she listened to my concerns and quickly answered. Exam, blood draw, vaccines, etc. were all completed in the exam room while I was present. They were very professional, honest, and caring throughout the whole exam. I feel like I have found my team that practices good medicine and cares about my furbaby as much as I do. Louie is happy because he got lots of treats!!!

Doctor is great. Good service. The base price for teeth cleaning is more affordable compared to other vets in the area.

I’ve had both of my French Bulldogs spayed here at Palatine Animal Hospital. Dr.Luttrell and staff went above and beyond for me. Used to work there, and now I bring my pets. Caring and patient staff. No doubt in the information I’m receiving. I have not had the same experience everywhere and I know just enough about veterinary medicine to know the difference.

I have taken all of my dogs to the doctors here for 20 years. All of the docs are professional, caring , and excellent at treating pets. My husky had a much longer life because of surgery Dr. Riordan did. I had an opportunity to bring my grand cat Salem to them yesterday. He was running a fever, not eating or drinking. I'm seeing a significant turnaround today thank goodness. Palatine Animal Hospital is the best.

We've been going to Palatine Animal Hospital for over 20 years. All the staff are helpful and friendly. At all times the veterinarians are professional, concerned and compassionate with our cats. They keep us informed as to test results and communicate well as to upcoming examinations. They work hard to ensure our pets are at an optimal level of health.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The technician who trimmed my cat's nails is excellent. She does a great job. I don't know her name, but I will find out next time I come in. She has been trimming Lily's nails for several years and, again, she is wonderful.

The staff here is always super friendly and accommodating. They are compassionate and explain things very clearly in regards to things for your pet. I would absolutely trust them with my pets needs and care.

They were able to see us right away after our cat jumped up on to the stove top and burned her paws. Everyone was very friendly and our cat was the calmest we've ever seen her at a vet. Even did a quick check on her after asking if anything else has been bugging her lately.

My kittie cat Pepper was treated so nicely and to my surprise didn’t make a fuzz. The reception, vet tech and vet were so welcoming. Thank you, I work in customer service and it is a relief being around people that take their profession seriously. 😎⭐

Palatine Animal Hospital has taken great care of my dogs for the last 16 years! Both the doctors and the staff are kind, caring, and knowledgeable- what more can you ask?! They adapted nicely to the COVID crisis, putting a smooth process into place. Highly recommended!

For 14 1/2 years, Doctor Riordan and his staff treated Bailey. We called Doctor Riordan the "dog whisperer" due to his calming influence on our rambunctious, fun-loving, silly labrador retriever. She got herself into more than one predicament over the years, but she was never lost her trust in Palatine Animal Hospital. They were kind, friendly, firm and loving; she felt that as did we. Trust. We trusted them. Bailey trusted them. And when we finally had to let her go, they were compassionate and caring. We couldn't have had a better experience. Highly, highly recommended.

I have moved a lot in the last 10 years with my partner in crime, Jazzy. She's an 11 year old pitmix. She has had a few different vets over the year. This hospital is close to my home and they are always quick to answer the phone and questions I may have. After our visits they will even call and follow up to see how the pet is doing <3

We've been using Palatine Animal Hospital ever since we moved to Palatine in the early 1980's. Dr. Riordan and his staff are wonderful, caring people and we've never thought about going anywhere else. As a result of their terrific care, we've had a couple dogs live to more than 15 years. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
