This place is huge and the selection in every segment of the beer, wine, spirits departments is amazing. The prices are also very good. They have a bar that serves drinks in the back, and tonight they were hosting a wine tasking !

Came across this place by happy accident, had stopped by to grab something, only to come across a tasting of wine and Bourbon, the range of selections was surprisingly good and quality all around. Highly recommend and Will be returning often...

Great selection, great prices, great tasting room. But the best was the service, hands down. Bryce had great recommendations and was a pleasure to work with. I love the blind tastings they offer.

Update: real rating is 4.5. The crew working here are truly helpful. The wine dedicated people are knowledgeable and give great recommendations. The store has a solid selection of quality wines as well as excellent mid priced quality offerings. The beer selection is excellent along with some hard to find bottles.

I had a great time here at Buddy Guys for my birthday! The legend himself even came out in song about 20 minutes and even had two double shots! Awesome time! Highly recommend if you’re in Chicago visit Buddy Guys!

Love my local liquor store. Great selection and prices for the NW burbs. Been going here since it was originally Dobby's and then Cardinal's and now Garfield's.

Can't forget about the free popcorn while you browse the warehouse selection! Also have a good collection of rare and uncommon finds of wines, booze, and beers.

Sat at their bar tonight, really loved the interaction with the gent behind it. Got to taste some Japanese whisky. Go, try something different, and if you like, it's right there to purchase.

Great customer service outstanding selections

Great selection, and the remodel looks fantastic. Most shelves are lowered, good lighting, cheese selection, and there's a bar in the back! Very nice. Looking forward to future visits.

Great whiskey selection! Lots of store-selected single barrel editions. They regularly host wine and beer tasting events. Prices seem average/good, similar to Binny's on the couple bottles I checked.

Two years later and it's all still true... plus their wine tasting area has evolved into a full bar! Shelves of liquor, a few beer taps, seating for eight or ten ish, plus a table or two. And they've expanded the size of the "impulse buy" shelves alongside the checkout line, including a LOT of "airplane" bottles and cocktail cherries such as the unparalleled Woodford Reserve.

Amazing liquor selection at competitive prices! You can find just about anything here. They also have a bar where you can try all different kinds of whiskey and wine! 10/10 recommended Joe is an awesome bartender!
