El Paraiso Restaurant

The waitresses are very friendly and always quick to take your order. The food has always been consistently made just right. This is the only place I know that makes tacos al carbon and they really pack the tacos with lettuce, onion, cilantro and tomatoes.

El Paraiso is a Mexican restaurant that consistently delivers delicious and authentic food. I've been going there for years, and I've never had a bad meal. The tacos, enchiladas, and burritos are all amazing. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are cooked to perfection, and the service is friendly and attentive.

If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant, I highly recommend El Paraiso. You won't be disappointed!

It's been years since I came here but so glad that I did! I got the chicken flautas. The chicken was flavorful and not dry at all. Also, not many places have the spicy pickled carrots either!

Best Mexican food in the area, they open till 4 am. I am the happiest person in the world after 2:30 of driving to find this amazing place open at 2 in the morning, hungry and tired… I used to live in Elgin and I can say this was my favorite spot for after work… Feels good to be back home (visiting only but home) The employees are amazing as well… Thank you for your service!!!

Stopped with a friend for tacos. We got six steak tacos. They were amazing and very fair on price. I live by Chicago and it’s hard to find tacos this good. Would definitely stop here again.

I moved out of state and EVERY time I come back here, I ALWAYS stop at El Paraiso. If you are looking for fantastic, flavorful, authentic Mexican cuisine come here. There is seating inside and a drive through. They are open late, which is clutch after a long night! I've ordered a steak burrito every time I go but they have so many options.

Good burrito. Cool place. Price is reasonable. Just came back for a "burrito de lomo" and it was really good ...and just $9.95 and they open late hrs like what are you doing at the Mcdonalds drive thru at 1am my guy? This is the real deal get filled happy meal over here!

Delicious food. Large portions. All made fresh. Can't go wrong. The service is great. They have table service, Togo, and a drive thru. And they are open 24 hours for those late late night munchies.

This food was surprisingly delicious! Food was served fresh and fast! We got the torta de milanesa de bisteak and it wa sooo good! It was loaded with all the ingredients (which I appreciate. Other placea tend to put a tiny amount of topping in the torta.) What was even better than that were the nachos. They are loaded with theee types of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, ans your choice of meat. To top it off this place is open 24/7 so yes, I will be visiting again.

I come here all the time for either lunch, dinner, or midnight snack and the food/service has always been great. Highly recommend if your craving good Mexican food.

Just pulled through the drive through for a quick barbacoa burrito the other day and was surprised at the quality of the meat. Tender and fatty and generous in portions.

I had Carne Asada for lunch here and liked my food. The service is very quick and the food is just as delicious.

LOVE this little place. we used to go to the one across town, but moved here and this location is just as good, if not better than the cross town location!!
we came here around 7, and the drive through was PACKED. we waited for about 25 minutes in line but in all honesty, WORTH THE WAIT!!! think of it as a taco adventure.
we got steak tacos, steak quesadillas, chicken quesadillas and a el pastor taco.
the steak was so moist, and perfectly seasoned. the tacos were amazing. same with the steak quesadilla!
chicken quesadillas are my fav, and these are always PACKED with chicken. to be honest, one of these alone will fill you up. DELISH!!! and of course the el pastor was fantastic as always too.
