Jewel-Osco

Been going to this Jewel my whole life and this is the best I’ve seen it! Specifically the produce department is what has makes this my go-to store. Being a private chef, I love the great selection of fresh, quality ingredients. I will admit a couple of years back I had switched to Mariano’s, however, as of late, everything has been super clean, organized and only the best product seems to make it to the shelves which makes my life so much easier being in a rush to get my ingredients efficiently. Employees at this store are always a great help. Qazi, who specifically stands out, always goes above and beyond when I see him to help me get what I need.

Me and my wife were a couple of dollars short for our purchase. Our cashier whose name is rowhana(I'm sure that's not the spelling, I apologize ma'am) used her own money to make up the difference. Thank you so much and we truly do appreciate you!!

This is the best Jewel-Osco out of all the Jewel-Osco’s now meat department here is the best the employees there are the best they help me find some thing they’ve been trying to find for 20 years it’s called Kevin special. Unfortunately they don’t have it anymore but the two employees were very helpful in finding everything else I needed best employees ever

The buy one get one free assorted pork chops were a bargain. 12 to 14 chops for about 13$ was a great deal nowadays.

Gary from produce was very helpful. Thank you for great customer service. Guac was great.

Their special prices are excellent as well as their Only for U coupons. I love getting the ready to go meals there, they're priced well and they are a better option to fast food.

It's a big store but shelves are stocked well and I particularly like their staff friendliness.

Some of the best and kindest people on Earth here making sure we find happiness along with everything else we came here for, this is your store! The one stop shop! You need it, they got it. Can't find it, they'll get it. Need help, they got ya. The Diamond Jewel of Jewel's, all the facets and all the sparkle to make your shopping easy, enjoyable and effortless as can be. Full cart or quick grab, this is the place that'll make it happen for ya.

Best jewel I've encountered in the area. Store is clean and really well organized. Sales are great, produce is fresh and well stocked, bakery always has fresh baked items and knowledge /Helpful attendants, deli is well staffed and hot items are delicious for an easy meal. Hands down best staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with at any jewel in this area. Helpful, knowledgeable and always so friendly.

My husband shopped while I stayed in the car, but I was pleased that he found some stuff that would easily keep me fed while I was alone for a while. Like boiled and shelled eggs! Tonic water, that is supposed to help leg cramps, and seems to have disappeared from some groceries. Also, regular staples like sliced beef and pickles for sandwiches. So I was set.

I absolutely love this location. They keep it very well stocked, organized & very clean. The staff is very polite & for the most part quite friendly. My only gripe is with the "CoinStar" kiosk. I use it from time to time & too often it's filled & out of order but I don't think the store itself has anything to do with it so my 5 star rating remains. Keep up the great work guys & stay on top of those CoinStar peeps.

Went to trade out my IPass transponder. Someone came over quickly as I approached the customer service counter. They have the system down to match and record serial numbers. Easy process.

This is a medium sized store in Palatine. They have a decent variety of merchandise. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is very clean including the restroom. Neatly organized well spaced store. It remains open late, till midnight and you don't have to wait long at registers. I like this store.

Always good service. But never try self checkout if you have a lot or don't try self checkout unless you have patience to deal with the whole place the items back or it won't continue

We have been living in Palatine for nearly three years now, and after shopping at most of the different grocery stores in the area, this Jewel has become our primary grocery store.

Prices are very fair with good regular sales. Staff has always been very friendly to us. Store is always very clean, organized, and well-stocked.

The hot food and wings are a regular for us on Sundays during football season, though I will admit that you need to make sure you get wings at the right time, otherwise they may be a little dried out.

The craft beer selection for the build-your-own six-packs has always been fantastic for a grocery store (not really fair to compare to local liquor stores). I have visited over 15 different Jewel locations in the area and other suburbs (don't ask why) and countless other grocery stores, and I have not found any selection which comes close to the one at this Jewel.

Some of the other reviews here are a bit misleading. Regardless of the gun laws in Illinois, it is not uncommon for public places like this to disallow firearms. We have never had any issues with the store feeling unsafe or with threats of gun violence.

A Jewel-Osco is a blessing to any neighborhood - old or new, this or that. ... providing many jobs directly as well as an anchor to many smaller businesses. I do appreciate its presence very very MUCH!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 ... We went to this local Jewel-Osco for the booster shot. The staff in the Pharmacy is always friendly, very attentive ... in spite of the busy Friday afternoon. While waiting for the shot, we looked at the Vegetarian Section for any SALE... And luke-y us, there were some with good discounts... SO We bought quite a few items .... The staff in Jewel side is equally great. We noticed they support diversity, not only in race, but also in disability .... All of us LOVE a helping hand! .... THK U very much, Jewel-Osco. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

2/2020 Its always clean and organized in here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are pretty good for the area. And they have what I need. What else can I ask for?
