The small squid dim sum didn't quite steal the spotlight, but the hot chili crab was an absolute rockstar! Now, when it comes to the fried noodles, they were living life on the wild side—super oily and salty, adding an unexpected twist to the taste journey. Nevertheless, the service here always brings the good vibes! 🌟

Arrive early or expect a bit of a wait if you arrive. Food is excellent. I decided to get Dimsum, but the regular menu looked amazing as well. Orders came out as they were done. Got some more food to go for the family to try. The sticky rice was unfortunately a bit under steamed in one part, but still delicious. Everything is packed full of high quality ingredients

This MingHin Cuisine, is the best that I have tried so far! Let me get into it!

Food: The food is amazing. How quickly it comes out and how fresh it is really speaks for itself. My favorites are the egg tarts, the bbq buns, and the tofu and Japanese pea tips! If you order those you won’t go wrong!

Service: I personally think it’s okay. I feel like it isn’t very specific and since there are too many people that rotate it doesn’t feel as sincere in ways.

Atmosphere: Or ambiance as I call it! It’s very nice the Decore is really nice. The seating was a bit worn since I last was there not sure if it was updated.

Overall, I would recommend anyone here for excelled dim sum!

The food at this restaurant is EXCELLENT. Prices are reasonable.

Huge selection of dim sum items as well as family style dishes. Some of the best dumplings, stir fry noodles and orange chicken I've had outside of Chinatown in San Francisco.

Service is always quick and courteous. Dishes always come out hot and fresh. They turn over tables quickly. So even though the place can be super busy, you probably won't have to wait more than 45mins tops.

The restaurant is huge. You can tell the building was better served as the buffet restaurant that it used to be - It's not exactly set up as a restaurant you would want to hang out at for ambiance alone. Not that they didn't put in any effort to make the place quaint, just only so much you can do to fill this cavernous building.

Overall I def recommend this restaurant for people that like more traditional Chinese dim sum, but also for people who like the American style Chinese takeout dishes more. There's something for everyone here.

MingHin is family style authentic Chinese cuisine. I didn’t think I could find quality dim sum outside of Chinatown in the city, but I was wrong. The rolling meadows location, is clean, bright and well staffed. We had a reservation for 5 and our table was ready when we arrived. We entered our order into an iPad at the table and the waiter collected our order and brought our drinks. The food was hot, fresh and quick (which is nice because we have an infant child). I highly recommend the beef lo mein, it was packed with flavor and they use the thinner lo mein noodles which I like. The shrimp fried rice was packed with jumbo shrimp. The sesame chicken and General Tso’s was tender and flavorful. The shrimp and bbq pork dim sum was deliscous. You get what you pay for and their dish size and quality are reasonably priced. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I love this place, I've been here over 5+ and never had to wait for a table. We're always seated immediately. No one bothers you while you're eating and the food is great. It's also super cheap. You can eat until you're sick and still make it outta there for under $40 which is a deal for the quality of food you're getting.

Best Dim Sum (Cantonese Small Plates) and Hong Kong Style cuisine place in the NW suburban area. I've had better foods in Chinatown, and a few things they can improve on. But it's fair to say this is a great place to bring your family and friends for authentic delicious Chinese food.

Here are my Dim Sum Ordering Tips for you..

The Dim Sum Classics:
Crepe, Turnip Cake, Rib with black bean sauce, Chicken Feet, Sticky Rice in lotus leaf, Shrimp Dumpling, Siu Mai,

I've had enough classics in my life, so I tend to order something different.
My Favorites Dim Sums:
Short Rib with honey sauce (not the best I've had, but pretty good).
Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf (although my favorite, but will avoid in this location because they have a freezer smell. Probably not too many people order it),
Egg Yolk Bun (Minghin was the first restaurant to introduce this to Chicago about 10 years ago),
Rib with black bean sauce,
Turnip Cake,
Bean Curd Skin with Pork and Shrimp,
Shrimp Dumpling with Green Chives.
Deep Fried Taro Puff (too bland in this location)

I would also suggest avoiding the Fish Congee - has no flavor, and veggies were raw.
Also, their soy sauce for the crepe is very light, lacking flavor.

This was my first visit at MingHin Cuisine, as I introduced my twelve-year-old niece to dim sum. Our experience, from the condition of the restaurant to the quality of the food was outstanding. Service was very friendly, and one of our servers quickly brought us a selection that we ordered but were missing. Best of all, everything we ordered came out of the kitchen piping hot. We can't wait to return!

MingHin Cuisine is a fantastic dim sum restaurant with a modern fancy décor that makes it feel more upscale than other locations. The service is really efficient and friendlier than usual for a Chinese restaurant. They have a good selection of BBQ meats, noodles, fried rice, congee, and vegetable dishes apart from dim sum.

The dim sum at MingHin Cuisine is absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dim sum dishes that are all cooked to perfection. Some of my favorite dishes include the shrimp dumplings, pork buns, and egg tarts. The food is always fresh and hot when it arrives at your table.

The atmosphere at MingHin Cuisine is also something to be admired. The restaurant has a beautiful interior with modern décor that makes it feel more upscale than other dim sum restaurants in the area. The service is also top-notch. The staff is always friendly and attentive to your needs.

Overall, MingHin Cuisine is a great place to try out if you're looking for some delicious dim sum. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with great service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some great dim sum in Chicago.

This is my first time here. The service is the best I've had in any restaurant. The BBQ is very tasty, the shrimp fried rice is excellent lots of big shrimp. The wanton soup was full of dumplings and the broth was flavorful. I will definitely be coming back. Did I mention the happy hour?

Excellent place to go for Dim sum.
Their menu separate from Dim sum is also excellent. So many options from vegetarian to seafood to chicken and duck!

The service is so fast here. A party of 6 on a Saturday night - seated in 15 minutes. We started ordering dim sum for some apps and they started bringing them out no later than 10 minutes after being seated. Service is so efficient , it's like a well oiled machine.

The quality of the food NEVER disappoints.
love the vast selection and the atmosphere. They've also got a full bar and a vast smoothie selection ! ALWAYS keep coming back to this place.

The ultimate place for big parties for dinner and for sharing!

Some dish recommendations:
-Walnut shrimp *slight crisp, subtle sweet, saucey*
-Orange chicken *flavor bomb, tangy, light breading*
-Garlic Pea tips *leafy, mouth watering*
-Dry scallop fried rice *UMAMI, peas carrots, slight salty goodness
-Egg yolk Bun *best dang dessert with its perfect ratio of salty sweet and gooey dankness

Found this place when we were craving dim sum but didn’t want to go all the way downtown to Chinatown for it. They take reservations so call ahead. We called and asked if we could come in soon and they were not busy so allowed us to just walk in.

We ordered some tea since it was a bit cold, that was really nice. We ordered, roasted pork belly, siu mai, chicken feet, stuffed sticky rice in lotus leaf, beef balls and baked bbq pork buns.

The roasted pork was delicious, flavorful and fatty just how I like it!! The siu mai was perfectly cooked, the chicken feet nice and tender, the sticky rice also very flavorful and delicious! The beef balls were also very yummy! And the baked bbq pork buns were so good! And I never reach for those but these were amazing!

This place is so so good! I can’t wait to go back!!

The food was great. They should at least keep one of their main entrance/exit doors unlocked. Our group has a disabled person who can ambulate that had to go through the revolving doors. Hence, the 4 stars for service.

Tasty cuisine and a fun experience! I’ve been to the Chinatown location and knew what to expect for a full-on dim sum dining experience, and I have to say that I prefer this location. Parking is abundant and easy and the decor is elegant and tasteful. The pork belly wasn’t available, unfortunately, but that forced us to chomp down on fatty, tasty roast duck that I simply could not stop eating - highly recommended. Another one of my favorites was the salted deep fried squid, served with a sweet orange marmalade-like sauce that went together very well. The beef crepe was yummy and the taro puff is always fun to eat; a very unique, delicious fried food. I don’t do chicken feet - never saw the point, but to each their own. The green tea was simply on-point that evening, and with all that food, my wife and in-laws had to roll me out of the restaurant at the end of our pleasant meal. I highly recommend MingHin and this Rolling Meadows location for dim sum and other Chinese dishes. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

If you haven’t had this place, you’re truly missing out. The food is phenomenal!! So fresh, large portions, & so flavorful. There’s nothing we’ve ordered that wasn’t a 10/10. Go!

We went during their weekday happy hour (20% off dine-in). It was pretty empty. On the weekend this place is packed with a wait. The seating is spacious and lighting is adequately bright. Service was attentive. Food came out one by one, very fast. Food is delicious and flavorful. Milk tea was the same as I had in Hong Kong, although not sure why it was served in a paper cup. Price is reasonable.
